It is a decent college, but the fee charged for placement services is too high.

Placements: Summer internship opportunities offered by the college were not up to the mark. As it is a tier 2 college, its performance in SIPs was poor. A few companies visited the campus for placements, and they offer very poor profiles to students. Placement opportunities offered for our seniors were satisfactory. Many reputed companies visited the campus, and they offered good salary packages and good profiles.

The college has great faculty and decent placements but poor infrastructure facilities.

Placements: I have just finished my first year. For the senior batch, the average and median salary packages were offered over 12 LPA. The highest salary package offered was over 20 LPA. Most of the roles had some amount of sales component in them. This year, everyone got placed who wanted to get placed through campus. Almost 100% of the students end up getting an internship through college. The placement cell has invited more than 100 companies this year.

Come and shape your future.

Placements: The placements are good with plethora of opportunities for the students, specially in marketing and finance. The college provides you with a large pool of good companies but it all depends on t he student whether he/she exploits the opportunity. You just cannot expect a college to spoon feed you in an MBA. You have to be on your toes everyday and bag the chance which is in front of you.

The review of IMI Delhi - International Management Institute.

Placements: You'll be offered above average placement opportunities if you perform well. Well-reputed companies hire you if you prove your worth. Since companies from all the domains visit here, students are offered a lot of opportunities. Well-reputed companies of every field visit the campus to hire the best students. Equity-based jobs are rarely offered. However, if you meet the required criteria, you'll be offered even equity-based jobs. You should have not only the desire to enter the industry but also...

High fees but good exposure.

Placements: Average package stands at Rs 10.5 to 11 LPA, while they put about Rs 14 lac in their placement report. Not a lot many companies visit IMI Delhi, and those that attend, come for back-office roles at least for finance profiles. The placements for marketing are still good.

Resourceful faculty and poor infrastructure.

Placements: Placements seem just fine, with not much to be expected in terms of a finance profile. Good packages in the marketing field though. However, summer placements are exceptionally poor in terms of kind of projects offered as well as the companies coming to campus post Day 2.

In the batch of 2010-2012, there were plenty of students who had the choice between IMT-Ghaziabad and IMI, New Delhi. IMT has been the more recognized brand but the growing stature of IMI as well as developments in IMT such as expanded batch size, higher fee etc. prompted this shift. The expectation was that the smaller batch size will promote more interactive learning and easier placements. Also, IMI was a corporate sponsored B School with the main promoter being the RP-Sanjay Goenka Group. S...
