True Review of IMI by ex student .

Faculty: The faculty was experienced, and they had provided everything relevant to our course of Diploma in Nautical Science. Even after the completion of our course, we can connect ourselves to them if we face any difficulties in the future. There were different teachers for different subjects, and there were fixed hours of teaching for every teacher so as not to create an excessive burden on teachers.

This is the only college in North India that gives you placements in the best companies.

Faculty: Our teachers were very talented, qualified, and intelligent because they were from very reputable companies. The course was very relevant. The course transforms a regular student into a cadet who must go on board a ship. Semester exams were a little difficult because we had to take them at the time of the covid pandemic.

Our college has good food, infrastructure, and standard of living.

Faculty: Faculty members in our college are well-experienced and are one of the best captains from the industry itself with great on hands experience in the subjects. The course curriculum is a bit hectic but the timetable allows you to follow it with ease. The pass percentage is 50% in both practicals and theoretical exams.

Faculty members and placements are very good.

Faculty: Teachers here are not normal, and they are all working or retired merchant navy captains. Some instructors also have Indian navy experience. All the masters are very helpful and put effort as much as they can to make you understand all the topics. The course offers all the information, whether it be practical or theoretical, to make you ready to join and work on a ship. Semester exams are fairly mediocre if you study every day. The passing percentage is 50%, but some companies have their own pas...

I am satisfied with this college in all aspects.

Faculty: Teachers are very experienced and good. Semester exams are tough. Overall faculty members are very good. This course should be more practical than physical. On the IMI campus, the only drawback is that the shipping campus is only on campus 1 so students doing DNS are not very experienced with ship work.

An amazing college with great placements and well-qualified teachers.

Faculty: The fee is convenient as compared to other colleges. DNS fee is approximately 6 Lacs, while the B.Tech fee is nearly 16 lacs. All the teachers are captains and chief engineers, and they have vast sailing experience. Their teaching quality is amazing.

Overall, it is a very good college which has a perfect balance of discipline and education.

Faculty: The course curriculum is relevant, and all the subjects are industry oriented. Retired captains teach all the maritime subjects. They are excellent at their jobs. English and science faculty members are average, but the mathematics faculty member is not up to the mark. Apart from English, maths and physics, other subjects are maritime-related.

Review of International Maritime Institute.

Faculty: Teachers here are good and friendly. You can have fun with them and vice versa. In subjective matter also, they are good. But the course curriculum is of 4 years duration and is provided by Indian Maritime University. You will have good chief engineers and faculty members.

In our batch of DNS 31, all 94 cadets are sponsored by recognised companies.

Faculty: All the faculty members here are captains and chief engineers who have sailed more than 20 years on the ship. The type of experience they have is marvellous, and all of them are very friendly and helpful. Other staff members such as our seamanship instructor, etc., are also retired Indian navy officers. They teach seamanship practicals and make our learning very interesting. The way of teaching here is awesome.

Surely it is the best institute in North India.

Faculty: Faculty members here are one of the most experienced members who are the officers from Indian Navy and Merchant Navy. They have high sailing experience. Officers of the rank of captain only teach in the institute. Faculty members are quite knowledgeable and are like role models for the cadets. As this is a professional course, the course curriculum is designed accordingly. The best thing about this course is everything which you learn during the course is relevant when you go into the ship. Thus...
