Placements: The campus placements in our college are good. The college provides many opportunities for students to attend the interviews. Good companies visit the college for recruitment. Our college also provides internships and is associated with reputed companies. The stipend offered in internships is also good.
Placements: Very few students attended placements as most of them went for further studies. I would give 2.5 out of 5 for placements. One student got placed in Amazon. Good companies like Godrej, Wipro, etc. do come to our college for placements. However, I didn't like the job role offered to me.
Placements: The placement department was newly set up in the year 2015, so only 20% of the students got placements through college sources. More than half of the students opted for higher studies while 15% opted for the family business. Overall, the placement department was active and achieved as much as 20% placements within 6 months.
Placements: Companies like Wipro, ITC, Godrej visit our college for Placement offering various roles in finance, marketing and selling domains. Around 4 Lacs pa as starting package. Most of the students don't opt for jobs and go head with further studies. There is one faculty in charge of placing the students.
Placements: Placements are many from our batch and senior batch. Percentage of students places is 40 percentage. The highest is 10 lacs, the lowest 4 lac, average is 5 to 6 lacs. All big companies are visiting like Tata steel, Lays, Mahindra, Goldsmith, Relaince, ICICI banks, loda, Itc, Britannia, pitangli etc. Role is dependent upon the students I means which type of Field is specialised. Like leadership, management Hra etc. Percentage of internship is 70 percentage. The highest is 20 k, the lowest is 5k a...
Placements: Good companies are visiting the college. The average package was 3 LPA while the highest went up to 8 LPA. 90% of the students got placed. The college invites reputed companies around the country. The top ones that visit the college were Godrej, Infosys, and TCS.
Placements: Good companies visit the campus for freshers. The college will bring reputed companies for both internship and final placements to students. The companies with good salary package and good name come down to campus for placements. The average salary package can be close to 5 to 6 lacs per annum for selected students. ITC, Future First, IMRB, and many others to name a few visit the campus for placements. Mostly, we have aptitude rounds and PI, so focus on aptitude and communication skills, and you...
Placements: It is mandatory for all the students to intern for a few months to get exposure to the practical world. The students are placed in various non-governmental organisations as well as multinational corporations. Non-governmental organisations include hope foundation and NGOs outside Kolkata. Multinational corporations include Tate Steel.
Placements: I personally do not have much experience regarding placements, but as I heard from seniors and our principal, there are plenty of placements provided, but the main issue is that the students are not turning up for a job after being selected. So, this is putting the college in a dicey position of calling the companies for recruiting. Top companies like Wipro, Amazon, and HDFC Bank come to our campus for recruitments.
Placements: There was a separate department for placements and placement was offered to only those who opted of it. Many companies came down to our college offering diverse profiles in the field of marketing and finance. Few of the companies were Future first, Swiggy and KPMG amongst others.
Placements: Placements were decent in our college as reputed companies visited for students to enhance their career in the fields they were interested in. Students also got an opportunity to experience the corporate world, which would not have been possible otherwise.
Placements: The placements offered to the 3rd year students of JD Birla Institute were quite decent. A lot of different companies such as Wipro came to the college and offered management as well as accounting roles. Salaries offered varied according to the company as well as the designation.
Placements: The placements were poor as only 50% of the batch got placed. The major recruiter was Wipro and it offered the analyst role. The average salary went around Rs. 15000 to 20000 per month. Internship was not compulsory, therefore, the college did not provide any assistance for the same.
Placements: This is one of the top colleges in Kolkata hence it does provide good opportunities for freshers. It provides internships in startups as well as companies like Big 4. A great exposure is there for second as well as third-year students. The lowest stipend provided is 4000-5000 per month.
Although they did not have very good infrastructural facilities, there was focus on group learning through presentations and with the aid of new technologies like tablets, video learning. Also a lot of guest lectures were held from reputed people from the academic and industrial background. It maintained a perfect balance of academic and non- academic activities and hence provided a brilliant atmosphere for learning.
Placements: The placement cell of our college is good. Top companies like Big Four, PWC, Infosys and Wipro visit our campus every year for placements and internships. Almost 70% of the students get placed every year, but most of the students go for higher studies. Jobs that are offered after the graduation are mainly HR, marketing and finance related.
Placements: Placements are pretty decent. I have yet to experience it, but from what I have heard, it is quite good. It is a renowned college of Kolkata, and it always has its perks. We are introduced to successful entrepreneurs at regular intervals. Workshops are even arranged to encourage us.
Placements: In my batch, 200 students got placed. JD Birla provides placement in reputed companies to its students. The most popular offered roles are in Management, operations, and HR. However, our BBA branch doesn't provide placement but they are working on it since last year. The last batch appeared for campus interviews.
Placements: Godrej, Wipro, Decathalon recruited this year. The highest package was 5lakh. 40% students were recruited. Internship was provided to 100% students. Financial analyst, HR, value chain management, supply chain management, marketing, PR jobs available.
Placements: The total number of students is 250 in every department and M.Com gives 100% placement. The package is starting from INR 96,000 per annum and it goes to INR 6,00,000 per annum and some companies also provide performance incentives. I exactly don't know the percentage of students who got an internship from my course as my course is not yet completed. But, I have heard from my seniors that the placements offered are very good.
