    It's a really good college!
Placements: After the MBBS there is a 1-year mandatory internship course. It will increase your experience in various fields so that you can choose your post-graduation path. Very efficient hospital which gives you a better opportunity to learn and make your experience stronger.
Infrastructure: Air-conditioned classrooms. Around 350 people can sit in one lecture room easily. Air-conditioned furnished library with an ample number of standard & review books (both Indian and foreign authors). Well-furnished triple-sharing or single-sharing hostel with AC and non-AC available. Food quality is moderate.
Faculty: Faculty members are very qualified and friendly. Academically well-disciplined and strict. Frequent internal exams according to a strict routine without fail. 2-semester exams per year and 1 professional exam which are moderate. The scope of various research options is also there.
Other: The campus is moderately huge, hostels are well-furnished. It is among the best private medical colleges in West Bengal. It has a gym, cricket ground, football ground, basketball court, swimming pool, indoor games room. The scope for extracurricular activities is also there. Our cultural fest called MAGNUS gets organized every year.

A comprehensive review of JAGANNATH GUPTA INSTITUTE OF MEDICAL SCIENCES AND HOSPITAL.
Placements: There are 200 students in our batch. The highest you can earn after MBBS in a hospital is approximately 1.5L after some years of experience. You apply to hospitals when vacancies are released. All 200 students get internships from the college itself. You can become an MBBS doctor after this course.
Infrastructure: The college infrastructure is great. It is a relatively new campus with a library where you can find every book required for MBBS. The campus has a hospital for medical emergencies, a football ground, cricket ground, basketball court, badminton court, and a long tennis court, which is under construction. The campus also has malls that will open soon. The hostel facilities are good, but the food quality is average.
Faculty: The teachers are very helpful. All the teachers motivate you to study and help in every possible way. All the faculty members have an MD/MS degree at minimum; most of them have higher qualifications. This college has the best facilities in West Bengal. The course is taught according to NMC guidelines. The semesters are a bit challenging, with exams every Monday that prepare students for the semester and test their overall knowledge of the topic.
Other: In MBBS, you can become a doctor and make a difference. The exam syllabus should be a little less. The best thing about our college, besides academics, is the fest. The fest is called 'MAGNUS FIESTA', and many well-known artists have participated here like Badsha, Honey Singh, and Ayushman Khurana.

    Dreams to become doctor .
Placements: Since it is an MBBS degree, placements are mostly based on skill set and recommendations. The hospital has a moderate patient load, so if you are willing, you can develop great skills. Faculty members are really good. They'll try to make you excel and become knowledgeable. There are some very well-known and great doctors who took our lectures.
Infrastructure: Infrastructure is actually the best part of our college. Faculty members are great and ensure you study diligently. Hostels are very clean and safe, with a curfew at 10:00 pm. Everything else is pretty good. The food is average, though some days it is very good. Non-vegetarians won’t have much problem. But of course, it’s a hostel, not home, so keep your expectations low.
Faculty: All the exams are conducted by WBUHS. So yes, this is much better as you face the same examinations as the government college students. Here, examinations are fair and square; no malpractices. You study, you pass. Faculty members are very good. They help and teach you in the best way possible.
Other: My marks were low, and private medical colleges are basically selected by the fees one can afford. So frankly, it's a huge amount! Once you have made up your mind to enter a private medical college, then this could be your first choice after a few other colleges. Genuinely!

I am absolutely satisfied with the college.
Placements: Still, no batch has passed out from this college yet. But in the MBBS course, you should not worry about placement. If you pass out with good marks, you will definitely crack PG or work in a public hospital as a medical officer. The academics also help the student to choose the right path. They assist the student throughout the duration of the course. One can go from high to higher by studying in this college.
Infrastructure: The infrastructure of the college is outstanding, still a work in progress. The library is a sight to behold. It is like a mall, with every book and journal related to medical science available here. The labs have all modern equipment and facilities. The hostel rooms are akin to hotel rooms, neat and clean. The food provided in the mess is outstanding, offering both vegetarian and non-vegetarian options. All types of sports and games are available here, including a cricket field, football ground, basketball court, volleyball court, and badminton court, along with indoor games like carrom and ping pong.
Faculty: The college has the best faculty in the whole of Eastern India. The academic curriculum is genuinely serious here. All the teachers work hard for the students. Every week there is an assessment test which helps students prepare themselves for the final exam. The semester is quite challenging, BUT almost 75% of students pass the exam.

The college has a great infrastructure, facilities and good teachers.
Placements: This is a medical college. I am in the MBBS course, so there are no questions for placements, and I don't know what other streams the college provides.
Infrastructure: The classrooms are well built and air-conditioned, and they have screens and projectors. The education is on a combined mode that is digitalised as well as on paper mode. A library has every book you need for the entire course. The hostel food is good. The college has a playground open all the time.
Faculty: The teachers are some of the most highly qualified teachers and have MD degrees. This is a medical course, and everything has been taught properly. Semester exams are at the same level as university exams, not very tough, and most of the students pass properly with basic studies.
Other: I am an MBBS student of the 2020-21 batch. I chose the course because I had love for this profession. The college, being a new college, is still providing many infrastructure and facilities. Every year, there are fests and extracurricular activities.
