Going with the flow of the college.

Placements: Almost all the students of our class were placed. Percentage of placement was very high but the quality of companies was very low in comparison to the good companies. Not many students got the internship from the college. The top recruiting companies were Infosys and Tata consultancy service.

Review of Jawaharlal College of Engineering and Technology.

Placements: Around 10% of students are placed. While admission they will say there will be 140 companies to recruit, but there will be only 4-6 companies that visit to hire students.

Not very much satisfied, placements are good, average infrastructure and average facility.

Placements: An average of 60% students was placed from this college. I am still studying in this college and I have seen some companies visiting our college for placements. Bigger companies like infosys comes to this college for placements. We also get frequent internships from our college.

This college is awesome only on Bloom day.

Placements: Our college provides vast opportunities for students to grab excellent opportunities to make our lives better in the future. Top multinational companies recruit students from our college and also defence forces to conduct placements.

It is an average college for average students.

Placements: I was the placement coordinator for the mechanical engineering batch of 2020. Less than 2% of students from the mechanical engineering batch of 2020 got placed on campus. The students were mostly taken to placements in other colleges for IT companies, and very few companies came to the campus to offer jobs. The companies that came to this college were offering sales positions in the companies. No one from the mechanical engineering batch has been offered any internships from college placements i...

I am dissatisfied with college as it is the worst college.

Placements: The college has some good infrastructure compared to other colleges in our district. It also has strong and wealthy management who had managed to create a huge business empire out of this education business. But the number of students advertised to be placed is not true. Students who got jobs by their own efforts and additional certifications were claimed to be placed by the college. The placement cell or anyone didn't do anything to get them a job. None of the companies other than some finance ...

If you study well, then this is the good college.

Placements: Placements in the college for aeronautical engineering are very less. Companies like Amazon, Infosys, Wipro, FACE, and Accenture visit the college for placements. There is a placements assistance in the college. We have a special cell called NCPIR. Faculty members help the students in finding out relevant walk-ins and placement drives. Capgemini might visit the campus after certain years.

I am not at all satisfied with the college.

Placements: The placements for the EC department is poor. Not many companies recruit from this college and majority of them will recruit for the call centres. They also provide personality development classes. They used to show that they have very good placements in their brochures, which is a blind lie.

Having some dissatisfaction due to less placement opportunities but happy with infrastructure

Placements: In the case of our senior batch, only a company named P3 (software company related to aero) had come for the placement. But I think that is not enough for a college placement. Totally, 28 students were placed for a temporary post and after 6 months, 4 were selected for a permanent post. The highest salary for placed students was Rs. 18000 in the beginning and after 6 months, the salary raised up to Rs. 25000. The minimum salary offered was Rs. 6000. Companies visited are: 1)P3 2)Infosys Studen...
