Satisfied because of ROI. This college has strong alumni base.

Placements: More than 90% of the students were placed in 2017 and 2018. The highest salary package offered is about 9 LPA. Most of the students were offered packages in the range of 3-4.50 LPA. A few students were offered internships from TCS. Some are going to join in January (8th semester). Students are joining in the jobs even before completing the course so that they can have practical experience.

Good to study in our college.

Placements: There are only a few placements. Only a few companies visit our institute. Before admission, the college says that every company visit, but no company visited during our time and our senior time. Only TCS visit in few times when they required. I think in future college give us jobs.

The bitter truth about my college.

Placements: The placement on the campus was decent enough, but no one considerably got a good package. The maximum salary package was about 4.5 LPA. Not enough students got what they deserve. There were not many such big MNCs coming to the campus for recruitment. Overall, it is was just an average college for placements.

Better self financed college as compared to others Near by colleges.

Placements: Placements are just okay. MNC's will not come here but college has better placement rates as compared to other private colleges here. Luckily JMIT has some good students but I think JMIT needs to provide better opportunities for them. Placement rates are going down May be because of recession or other reasons. Contact to good companies are not so much. Training & placement Cell has to work more & should have a Tpo who has good contacts.

The placements and the crowd in the college are good.

Placements: The computer science and information technology placements are good, but in case of core branches, the placements are very less though they have placements in IT companies which are not more useful for core branches. Otherwise, go for CSE and IT and you'll definitely get placed.

Poor on campus placement record, Average faculty, Below Average infrastructure.

Placements: Approximately 70-80% of the students were placed from computer Science. On campus placement comprised around 30% of the total students placed. Companies who visited : TCS, Decimal, Clicklabs etc. Average salary was around 3 lac p. a. Most students were offered Software developers/tester profiles. There was no internship programme from the college.

Best in faculty and Average in Infrastructure.

Placements: The placement of our batch (2015) wasn't quite satisfying if it comes to campus selection. The best thing was that almost each of students gets placed in off-campus selection process due to kind of knowledge they all have. The average package offered in campus placement was around 3 LPA. Most of the companies visited campus were related to IT services. There's a placement cell in the campus.

I couldn't get personal growth in the college.

Placements: The placement season started in the month of August during the third year. The first company was TCS which we thought would take plenty of students, but out of 400 eligible students, only 39 got selected. Overall, the placement session was below average. The packages were in the range of 3 lac pa. to 3.5 lac pa.

The infrastructure needs improvement.

Placements: The placement is nearly not much good. One negative effect is that TCS has decided not to come. Not big companies are coming. Only the startups which were started nearly 10-15 years back are coming to the college. But, for enhancing the students' personality, there will be special PDP, i.e., personality development classes.

A private institute with low-grade results.

Placements: The placements aren't that good for our seniors, but the reason also is the result because the result of students is degrading every year of mechanical engineering in our college. The placements in other engineering courses seem to be good, but there must be equality in placements because we too pay the equal fee for other courses of engineering.

An average college for the engineering.

Placements: The placements are not very good there. Only the computer science students got placed and that too with a very less CTC. If you are in a core branch, then don't expect any company in your field. Mostly, the students go to the off-campus placement to find a decent job. Consulting, BD and some IT profiles are the roles that are being offered.

Cheap college with minimal facilities.

Placements: Placements of our senior batch were good enough. At least in CSE and IT, they were good. Almost 30% of the students were placed from the campus. Highest package offered was 6 lpa. The lowest package was 2.80 lpa. The average package was 3.33 lpa. All major companies visited the campus including TCS, Infosys, HP, etc. Roles of technical consultant, software developer, etc. were offered to students. There was no internship offered to the students because all the students were interested in a perma...

Not such good faculty but there are many other things you can learn in this college.

Placements: Many companies visited the campus during my final year. The major ones are TCS, Click Labs and Libsys. The placement cell also arranges joint campus drives in which many students got the opportunity to get a job. During my final year, there was a high demand in the IT sector. Hence, many of the CS/IT and ECE students got placed. Last year, Airtel also hired many students in their network operation centre as an executive trainee. Hence, the placement cell tries its best to provide students many o...

Satisfied but placements and interaction with the industry need to be improved.

Placements: Placements of our batch are not so good. Only about 60 percent of the students got placed. The highest package offered is 5.00 lacs and the lowest package is 1.8 lacs. The average salary is around 2.4 lacs as most of the students received this package. The companies that visited our campus are mostly startups or very small companies. Some companies that visited the campus are Libsys, ClickLabs, TechAhead, Daffodils Software etc. and other students got placed through off-campus or pool campus dri...

Not recommended because of poor placements.

Placements: The placement for chemical engineering is not good. For other departments, it is okay. From our batch, in the chemical engineering department, only 5 students got placed. Companies like TCS and Tech Mahindra visit the college for ECE, CSE and IT departments. The mechanical department has a good exposure through a club called SAE. The college also provides support for pool campus recruitment, sending students to Chandigarh and Panipat.

Cooperative faculty and staff.

Placements: The branches computer, IT and ECE have good placement records. Recently, 28 students were placed in HP. The college has a good placement rate only for these branches mentioned above. The college is dedicated to placed their students. They organise so many personality development classes and training for placement classes.

Really good placements in 2016.

Placements: The placements for the CSE branch were good and about 80% of the eligible students were placed. The others had backlogs so they were not eligible. TCS comes for the mass recruitment and other companies like Click Labs, Libsys and many more companies come as well. The average package offered was around 3 LPA, and the highest package was offered by Libsys which was 4.5 LPA. Our college did not provide any help regarding internships, so the students managed themselves. ...

Good college but average placements.

Placements: Placements are average. Most companies offer a very low package. Lowest package was 1.8 LPA, and the highest was 4.5 LPA which is offered by Clicklabs, Chandigarh. Most of the students were placed in TCS as it is the mass recruiter from this college. In my year, around 100 students were placed in TCS with the package of 3.25 LPA.

I studied in JMIT Radaur from 2010 to 2014 under the course B.Tech in Computer Science. When I joined this college, at that time this college was one of the popular colleges in Haryana. Students used to take admission in this college as because of the company TCS, it used to take 180-200 students per batch. And it was very difficult to take admission in computer science beyond 90000 all India rank. But now the scenario has changed. TCS is taking only 20-30 students, for this reason not much inte...

The college itself was regarded as the pioneer institute in the state of Haryana when I joined it in 2011. It was known for its placements and the crowd was supposed to be above average. Being from NCR I had my expectations low but what I got was below average. Except from the people(who are generally rude in Haryana), the place can be a living nightmare for some. The faculty is nothing to boast about neither the facilities provided and placements have gone down in the years and the numbers migh...
