Our college faculty members make this college worst..

Placements: No placement is available in the civil department. No civil core company visited the college. Companies visiting for placements are only IT companies and marketing companies, which also offer a maximum of 5 to 6 LPA. Most of the companies are locally based and hire at the wage of laborers.

I am dissatisfied due to faculty members and the environment.

Placements: I think 30-40% of the students got placed, but companies are not that great. The highest salary package offered is 4.5 LPA. Many companies came to hire, and one of them offered a salary package of 7 LPA.

The college is very bad, and it doesn't provide placements.

Placements: Our college is very bad at placements, and very few got placed. The fee is too high. Infosys came to our college, but it didn't recruit a single student.

Absolutely disappointed, dissatisfied, angry because of faculty members.

Placements: Students don't get a good profiled placement. 30-40% students get placement. The highest package offered till date was Rs. 8L and the lowest one was Rs. 80 thousand. Company like Infosys used to visit but now they also black listed the college and other companies like Wipro visits for recruitments. No roles are offered, they just get placed in the company which they leave after 4-5 months. No internship is provided by the college. Students need to get it by there own.

About the college, students are working hard on their own as many are from general category.

Placements: The placement was not up to the mark, but may companies came with a package of Rs.5,000 per month, and that's the reality of the college as well as last batch also ended with no placement. The college also doesn't help in getting the internship where we had to manage our own with trying some references to our best. Big companies did not visit the campus, and all were the lower grade companies where there is no future.

JIET is like a school and not a college

Placements: Placements for our batch were not much good as only 4 students were placed out of 80 students. The highest salary package offered here is 4 LPA, and the lowest salary package offered is 2.3 LPA. Day 1 companies are Infosys and Capgemini. Other companies which visit here are non-technical, and they want businessman and not an engineer. Internships are not provided by this college.

All the facilities are good except the HOD of the mechanical department.

Placements: There are no good opportunities for the mechanical engineering student, but the college tries their best to get more placements for the students. The college makes many programs to develop the ability of the student. Almost, 40-60% of the students got placed. The highest package is 12.5 lacs per annum, and the lowest is three lacs per annum. The college provides the full fee for the students, who are not able to pay it.

Absolutely dissatisfied with the placements.

Placements: Out of 800 students in a final year, 60-70 students got placements in every year. Infosys, Capgemini, etc., are the companies visited our Campus. The average salary offered was 3.6 LPA, the highest salary offered was 4.2 LPA, and the lowest salary offered was 1.8 LPA. Companies hire for the post of engineer.

Are we really in an engineering college? If yes, then where is the innovation and learning?

Placements: Not even 40% of the students get placed in the companies via campus interviews. At our time, we welcomed Infosys, Act TV and other companies. However, the situation was poor because the aptitude required was not matched by the students and even though there are lectures kept to reduce the gap, the efficiency is questionable. Other opportunities are provided in terms of off-campus placements which are coordinated by the placement cell. No student body is present, which gives the power to the ad...

The worst decision of my life

Placements: The placement scenario in this college is very poor and not even 50% of the batch get placed. Major companies that come for recruiting are L&T, Infosys, Accenture and a few more IT companies. The number of offers they give is way less than what other major colleges get.

This college is a jail. I would not recommend this college to anyone.

Placements: About 15-20% students were placed. The highest salary offered is around 6-7 lakhs. 10 -20 companies visited every year. Last year, the placement was about 15%. The lowest salary is Rs. 10000 per month. Only one main company, Infosys, visits every year. Some other companies which visit are - Mahindra, TCS, Just Dial, ACTIV, Capgemini, Amazon, etc.

This college is not good in Jodhpur.

Placements: Around 40% of students are placed. Most students are placed in service-based companies, and no product-based company visits our campus to hire students. There are no off-campus placements or referrals provided by this college management to apply for placements.

JIET - HEAVEN FOR STUDENTS. Please read the review.

Placements: Placements. The word placement has now become a myth for the students here. The desperate ones for job are craving for placements. Let me give a fact: out of 840 seniors only 100 are placed. Rest really needs to rest in peace. The placement policies are so excellent that companies like Infosys and TCS have black listed the college. Last year a company visited with a package of 50000 p.a. . You talk about the percentage of students who get internship from college. Many IT Companies reject you whe...
