The faculty members are good but there is zero placement and the campus is not upto the mark.
Placements: Jorhat Law College is for students who want to study law. The college has two courses: B.A. LL.B. and LL.B. For B.A. LL.B., the total number of seat intake is 60, but for LL.B., there is a 120-seat intake. The college does not provide any package or placements; you have to apply on your own. However, the internship is given only to the last-semester students, and before that, you do not get the permit for any internship. But one can be a legal advisor, judge's advocate general, magistrate, and much more by pursuing the law degree.
Infrastructure: The classrooms are good, but there is no Wi-Fi connectivity. The canteen food is very hygienic. Recently, the college has added a computer lab and other amenities. However, the sports and games activities are still to be improved. The college is good for teaching, but there are no other facilities.
Faculty: The teachers are really helpful in the college. They put a lot of effort into making you understand the topics. The semester exams are a bit tough, but with thorough study, one can easily pass. The law subject needs to be studied hard, and with thorough study and preparation, it will be easy for students to pass it. The pass percentage, however, is only 50% out of 100.
Other: The law course is highly interesting. You get to know a lot about legal rights and regulations. I would suggest that if one wants to pursue the course, they should first opt for NLU and then central universities. It will be much better. Students will get a lot of events and a vibrant campus life. I don't think the course has anything to improve, but some law colleges should provide better facilities as the fee is high in law courses.

Amazing faculty, average infrastructure and regular exams.
Placements: There's no such thing as recruitment in the field of law, the ones who are good are enrolled in the bars and practicing either in the District Courts or the High Court. A good number of students who have passed out are currently either practicing or are a part of legal firms.
Infrastructure: The infrastructure is average, the library is quite nice, has all required resources available, but the overall infrastructure of the entire college is quite average, for instance, the washroom is the concern for most of the students, the maximum students are females in the college, yet there are only two toilets in the girls common room, which is gigantic by the way, where 3 or 4 more toilets could be added.
Faculty: We have an amazing team of faculty, they're experienced and knowledgeable, will provide us with all sorts of knowledge, be it from the course or life. Would try their best to push us to move forward and do better, everyone is unique in their own way and have their own teaching styles but they're helpful.
Other: I chose this course because I've always wanted to study about law as it has always interested me since ever, it can give me an opportunity to help others and make a change in people's lives and the society.

I really admire the teachers because of their teaching methods. Infrastructure is good.
Placements: The students who take admission to the LL.B. course get placements as lawyers. The placement percentage of our college is 80%. The packages may be of 2–12 LPA. The courts of districts are the major place where the students get jobs. They can go for an internship personally after completing the course. The students can become good lawyers or judges.
Infrastructure: Infrastructure is so good. Classrooms are big and have enough space for sitting. And there is a very good ventilation system. There is a Wi-Fi connection in the library. The library is huge and has a good collection of books. There is a small canteen serving good and healthy food. The hostel is on the campus, and it is also so big and beautiful designed for the students.
Faculty: The faculty of the college is highly qualified. Some of them have Ph.D. degrees, and others have LL.M. degrees. Teachers are so good and helpful. The semester exam is not so tough. Pass percentage is 35%. The course should include an internship as a necessary part.
Other: I chose the course because I want to become a lawyer. And every person should know about their lawns and their constitution. So the course is very important for all human beings. The college provides us with an annual trip and farewell party, freshers party, and many other fests.

The college reputation is being increasing every day.
Placements: Students submit their resume in the college and recruiters of different firms contact our college for applicants. Many of the students get placed in different firms, and some students even get a chance to be professors. Some students get a chance as junior advocates to practise under the guidance of senior advocates.
Infrastructure: A new building is constructed on the campus. It is fairly big enough and well-ventilated. It has clean and well-ventilated classrooms with new desks and benches. Even the washrooms are clean and hygienic. Wi-Fi facility is provided with a decent speed of 300 Kbps. The library has a lot of books, and students can avail the books to prepare notes.
Faculty: There are only four male teachers including the principal, and the rest of the teachers are female teachers. They are the best teachers a student can get. Their teaching methods, their way of approaching students, and their friendliness make them the best teachers. If someone has any queries, the faculty are always available to solve them. No question is left without an answer.
Other: Workshop, seminars and moot court are conducted once or twice a month, for the students to get more practical knowledge of today's world.

It is the best place to start a new journey in legal studies.
Placements: It was one of the best law colleges in Assam.
Infrastructure: Classrooms were well maintained. Our campus was very clean. There was a decent library, and several books were available. The food served in the canteen was perfect at reasonable prices. It was a very good college for students.
Faculty: Teachers were very helpful, supportive, well-qualified, and knowledgeable. The teaching quality was very good. The course curriculum was relevant to make students ready for the industry.

I am dissatisfied due to low infrastructure and teachers, and there is no placement facility.
Placements: Placements are not provided in our college. Internships are not required here for students, and they just need to submit their internship diary at the end of the course. They won't even read a single page of it. You don't even have to participate in moot courts because they won't encourage you for that neither they will give you any knowledge regarding it.
Infrastructure: The college provides free access to Wi-Fi, but its speed is slow. Labs are not available here. Some classrooms are average with electricity problem which makes the situation worse in summer, and other rooms are also very bad with bad smell and with one speedless ceiling fan. Library books are limited and mostly unavailable, and medical facilities and sports and games are also not available here.
Faculty: Faculty members here are not bad, but they need to be good. Some teachers are very helpful and cooperative, and they also encourage students without any partiality. However, other teachers discourage students. They will give you internal assessment marks according to their choice but not on the basis of merit and talent.
Other: Freshers' day is organised in our college by the student union. In our college, the week includes a few outdoor games, literacy competition, cooking competition and some more fun activities.
