I'm partially satisfied, but I'm hoping for some new advancements before leaving this campus.

Placements: Placements in our college are not good for our branch. However, we are hoping for better placement opportunities. There are good placement opportunities available for the students of the CSE and IT departments if they are talented, intelligent, and efficient. However, our respected principal sir is working on improving placement numbers, and now, there are better placements even for other branches like ME, EC, CE, EEE, and EE. However, the placement numbers of these branches are still less than ...

The best college of AKTU in NCR.

Placements: The placements of our batch were average if we consider the placement rates of all the courses. A lot of IT and consultant based companies visit every year, so the placements of the CSE and IT departments are very good. Various core companies also visit the campus to hire the students of the ME, civil, electrical, and electronics departments. However, these core companies hire only a few students. Any student can get placed if he/she works with placements as their main objective.

The college is good, but you can't expect much from college for the overall development.

Placements: Placements for electrical engineering are not much high. About 30% of the students were placed, which is very less compared to the placements offered by contemporary colleges. There is little to no placement training provided for students. Hence, the placement rate is low.

Satisfied with the opportunities provided in the college.

Placements: Placements in our college were quite good. The average package offered was around 4 Lacs. I guess, the highest package offered was 12 lacs. JSS's placement record is around 100%, as everyone gets placed, especially the students of CS, IT, EC and IC branches. Mechanical students also have opportunities to get placed in companies like Ashok Leland. Some of the companies which provided top packages were Phonepay, Kronos, HSBC etc.

Review of JSS Academy of Technical Education, JSS Mahavidyapeetha, Noida.

Placements: Placements in our college are average. Companies like TCS and Wipro are the mass recruiters and usually visit our campus. They offer the packages of 3-5 LPA. Startups like Byju's, Paytm and PhonePe also visit our campus. Many budding startups and consultancy firms also recruit students for the designation of software trainee. For these companies, you have to sign a bond for some duration. Companies like Byju's also recruit students for business development and marketing.

JSS is the best private engineering college in NCR region.

Placements: Placements for the CSE department are good, and last year, companies hired students with a highest salary package of 13 LPA. The average salary package offered was 5 to 6 LPA. There are only a few opportunities for the students of other branches. But this placement scenario for other branches is the same for all colleges in Noida.

Our college is good with a good infrastructure, a good faculty team and good environment.

Placements: I am preparing for the government job. The placements for the electrical engineering department are moderate, but the placements are good for the students of the EC and IT departments. Students need to get an academic score of 65% to sit in placements. We also have special classes for personality development and to prepare for interviews. The college helps the students to get placed.

This is a good college as compared to other colleges affiliated to AKTU.

Placements: Placements in this college are average like any other college of UPTU. Placement opportunities offered for the core branches like mechanical, electrical, and civil departments are low. However, students of these core branches are offered placement opportunities in sales and IT domains. Most of the students prepare for GATE examination to go for M.Tech or to get placed in PSUs.

Satisfied with the course, but our placements are not good.

Placements: As far as the placements are concerned, core branches have fewer placements when compared to other branches like IT, CS, EC and IC. Many companies visit our college for the students of EC, IT and CS branches. Placements are fewer for the civil, mechanical, and electrical branches. If you are from the core branch, don't ever think that you can get a placement here. It is mandatory for students to maintain 75% of attendance to sit in sessional exams.

If you study hard, this college will lead you somewhere good.

Placements: If you are in IT or CS branch, and you study well in the 4 years, then you will get placed. The salary package offered ranges from 3-5 LPA. If you do exceptionally well, then you may also get a salary package of 10-12 LPA. Students from other branches can also get placed if they are doing good in programming or coding. There are one or two core companies for every stream, but only a few students are recruited, maybe around 2-5. However, going for off-campus drives for placements is always an opt...

The college is good for IT courses, but don't expect anything from branches other than IT.

Placements: In 2015, only one specific civil company visited our college and recruited only three students out of 120 students. Rest of the students were allowed to sit in only one mass recruiting IT based company's drive. In 2016, not even a single company visited our college for recruiting. But students were allowed to participate in the placements conducted by Tech Mahindra. No student got internship opportunity on campus.

Satisfied with the placements, culture, and facilities provided in college.

Placements: As far as I know, placements in this college are among the best compared to other private colleges of UPTU. It has the advantage of being in an industrial location. The placement percentage is close to 80% for CSE branch and 50% for other branches. Many companies like TCS, Infosys, Genpact, Kronos, L&T visited the college. Internships are not provided by the college. There is a placement cell, and it is quite efficient in inviting quality companies for placements.

JSS provides the best faculty, but you better expect less from college in terms of placements.

Placements: The placement department in our college was not active and nor cooperative. They did not know how to approach a company and appease them to recruit students from the college. They do not treat HR of the company properly. Thus, placements in the college have been declining day by day and the companies which were hiring students for many years are also not visiting.

Review of JSSATEN, Noida.

Placements: On-campus placements in JSSATEN are good enough for CSE, IT and ECE students only. But, students can get higher packages only through off-campus placement drives. The average salary package offered for CSE students was 5-6 LPA in on-campus drives.

The college is good for IT and CSE departments, but not good for ECE department.

Placements: Placements were disastrous for the students of ECE department. Don't even imagine to get placed in a core ECE company. Only 35% of students were placed, and that too in IT companies like Tech Mahindra and Aricent. Roles offered were of software engineers only. An IT company offered the highest salary package. The highest salary package offered was around 7 LPA, and the average salary package offered was around 3.50 LPA. Don't even try to calculate the salary package of ECE department students.

It is a good college for UPTU. However, things could be improved.

Placements: Placements could have been better given the advantage of the location of the college. All the years I've studied there, the same set of companies used to visit the college for placements. The placement cell could have put more efforts in inviting companies like TCS and Infosys, which did not come for many years. The highest salary package offered was 7.3 LPA by Innovacer and the lowest salary package offered was 2.8 LPA by Fiserv.
