Good infrastrcuture and average faculty.

Placements: The placements were good 3 years back but since then the placements have been degraded. Earlier, we use to have 25 companies but now they are reduced to just 15 and that too, they are hiring very few students. The placement cell has to be changed because they just sit there and do nothing for their students.

Really good infrastructure and facilities.

Placements: The placements are quite good for CS/IT/EC, etc. but not so good for ME/CE/EE, etc. Companies like Times, Saint-Gobain, etc. visited the college campus for placements. The maximum package goes up to 8 lacs in mechanical engineering. aMost of my seniors went for off-campus placements, some opted for GATE/ PSUs and a few opted for MBA and civil services examination.

Poor placement rate, good infrastructure, not satisfied.

Placements: Very few placements this year. No core companies visited the college. Only a very few students are placed from the electrical branch and that too in IT sector. What's the point of doing B.Tech from core branches if the job is in IT sector? The placement management is very poor.

Absolutely dissatisfied because of the infrastructure, faculty and very poor placement in 2016.

Placements: This year, the placements in this college are only 60 percent for CS and IT branches because of the training and placement head. The college does not provide any fund for inviting any company. I am from EE branch. Placement in the branch is 22/120. Placement in this college is degrading as years are passing.

Excellent infrastructure, good staff, and average placement for batch 2017.

Placements: The college ensures placement to around 60% of the students. The highest package is around 10 LPA but the average package is around 3 LPA only. The placement scenario is favorable for computer science and information technology but not for other branches. The placement for our pass out batch 2016 was relatively better. Significant companies visiting campus for CS/IT include Kronos, Ion, Info Edge, etc. Mass recruiters include TCS, Wipro, etc. which offer 3.3 LPA as the salary. Unfortunately, the...

Satisfied with the faculty, very good infrastructure and placements are good.

Placements: There are good placements in computer science, IT and almost all the core branches except for civil. The average salary is about 4-5 lakhs per annum. About 80% students got placed. TCS, Infosys, Wipro, etc. recruit the students. Students get internship according to their knowledge and interest.

JSSATEN is the best college of aktu university and also in delhi ncr region

Placements: The placement of our college goes up to 7 to 8 lakhs per annum for core branches. But for CS and IT branches, it goes higher. The minimum package is 12 lakhs per annum. Many companies visit our college per year like TCS, Infosys, Ambuja Cement, Tech Mahindra and much more.

Satisfied with the atmosphere, however not much as expected. Job opportunities are there.

Placements: Companies like Kronos, HCL, Indian Army, Samsung, TCS, Indian Navy, Mahindra, etc. visit the campus every year. Placements of average 5-6 lakhs were there last year with highest getting nearly 18-20 lakhs on campus and 30 lakhs off-campus. Companies do visit regularly and the training and placement cell of the college is working to enhance this rate.

Too impressed with faculty and infrastructure.

Placements: The placements in JSS College are better than other private colleges in NCR. The average package was 3.25 lakhs last year and the highest package was 12 lakhs per annum. About 82% students were placed last year. Companies like HCL, Wipro, TCS, Kronos, ION Trade, etc. come in JSS almost every year. Overall, if you are ready to work hard, you will a good placement here.

There is no other college like JSS in UPTU university.

Placements: Our college is awesome in everything like placements and environment. I think it is a good college of UPTU and is one of the best colleges of Delhi NCR. The placement of our college is at 80% and the average package is about 3 lakhs per annum. But, core branch placements are very low in comparison to CS and IT branches. But out of the campus, core branches like civil and mechanical have good placements. Many companies visit our college per year and take students with a good package. Some of thes...

Average placements and good infrastructure.

Placements: Not so good in placement. But it actually depends on an individual that what he/she has done in the college life. Students from computer science and IT get maximum placements as compared to mechanical or other core branches and civil has the minimum placement offers. The placement of MBA or MCA is not as good as B.Tech.

Overall a good college to go to.

Placements: Being a core branch, very few companies visited the campus for placement. Ambuja Cement was one of the companies that visited our college for campus placement. Out of 60 students that were eligible for the interview for the placements, 12 students got placed. Maximum salary was 6 lakhs offered and minimum 3.5 lakhs. 8 other students got an internship with a stipend of Rs. 12000.

JSS Academy of Technical Education.

Placements: Placement is very good. Many IT and core companies visit here. Average package is around 3-4 LPA. Maximum package in 2016 was 12 LPA. Infosys, TCS, Tech Mahindra and Texas Instruments etc. visit the campus every year. Texas Instruments have made their centre of excellence in this campus.

A good place for self learners, not very good infrastructure and faculty.

Placements: Placements for CS/IT branch are satisfactory for an average student (60% + scorer). Non-CS-IT companies rarely visit so there is very less chance for a student to be placed at a good company. IT companies like Kronos and Ions also offer packages like 7-8 LPA. Tech M, TCS and Wipro tend to offer 3-3.5 LPA but since recent years, the mass recruiters do not prefer visiting the college. Roles like that of a software developer, trainee, and web developer are common. Looking towards the internship, i...

Placements: The placement of this college is quite good as compared to colleges present nearby to our college. It is one of the reputed engineering colleges in India. The placement easily crossed 80% at the end of the college curriculum of the going on batches. Companies like HCl, TCS, Wipro visited our college on a regular interval. Placements: Placements were not so good for my college. IT companies that came for the majority of the streams included Infosys, Tech Mahindra, Birla Soft and others. The average salary hovered between 3.20-3.50 lakhs per annum. For the civil stream, companies like L&T came but recruited only a handful of students. As a result, a majority of the overall students remained unplaced. No internship system as such from the college. Students are expected to find internships through their own resources. However,...

Placements: Placement is really good for CS, IT, IC and EC branches but not so good for core branches like EE and ME. The lowest package is 2.5 lacs while the highest is up to 12 lacs per annum. Samsung, IBM, Wipro, TCS, Torrent Power etc. companies visit for placement. Generall, they offer graduate engineering training posts. Almost 80-90% students got an internship.

Placements: The placements in JSS are above average. I mean they are better than other UPTU colleges. Tech Mahindra visits the campus first and is the mass recruiter. Infosys also comes at times but during my final year, it black listed JSS. After that, companies like Cronos, Newgen, Infoedge, MarkIT visited the campus. Placements: Talking about placement in JSSATEN, it is very fluctuating every year. The core branches like civil and mechanical suffer a lot as the core companies never visit the college as a result of which, most of the students have to be placed in some of the IT companies with a very low package. Placements: Placements in my batch are very disappointing. Only 15 students out of 61 are placed till February end. The average package of my branch is 2.9 LPA and the highest is 3.25 LPA. The other branches like computer science and information technology have got a high percentage of placement with some decent salaries.
