A good college if your primary aim is studies only, not for creative mind.

Placements: Approximately, all the students get placement in a TCS, but very less are going to high scale placement. Nowadays, getting placement in 3rd year is impossible. Everyone gets a placement if he/she scores 70% or above. The average salary is 3.5 lakhs per annum. There is e-cell in our college where all the skilled students get the internships.

Absolutely dissatisfied because of the faculty, placements are good for CS and IT departments only.

Placements: Placements are good for CS and IT departments but not for the other departments. The salary they offer is very low and due to the management of the college, many companies have blacklisted the college. The college actually doesn't try to call in the companies for placements.

Unsatisfactory placements considering the number of students.

Placements: Placements during my tenure were average. The majority of the students placed were from computer science, information technology and electronics & communication engineering. Average CTC offered ranged from 2.75 to 3 LPA whereas the highest package offered was around 8 LPA. Some of the major recruiters were Tech Mahindra, TCS, CSC, Kronos, etc.

Satisfied in terms of placements and experience.

Placements: The college placements this session (2016-17) and in the previous session(2015-16) have shown a rise in the number of placements. Most of the recruitments were in mass recruiters like TCS, Wipro and Tech Mahindra. The big companies include ION, Kronos and Infoedge, but Infoedge did not come for the 2016-17 batch students. The placements for CS/IT is good compared to the other branches.

Good for CS and IT branch. Bad for other branches.

Placements: The placement for CS and IT branch is very good. There were around 250 students in CS and IT and more than 200 got placed. The placement for other branches was far below expectation. Hardly any company visited for other branches. The highest package was given by ION trading 10.5 LPA. Three students were placed in ION. The other companies which offered good package were Infoedge and Kronos Three mass recruiters visited the campus which are TCS, Tech Mahindra and Wipro. They collectively took mor...

The best college in Uttar Pradesh.

Placements: For electrical students, the placements are not so good but you will get placed in a good company like Bajaj, Infosys, Tech Mahindra and Cummins with a starting package of around 3.6 lakhs per annum. But for the CS and IT students, the placement is very good as all students get placed with an average package of around 3.8 lakhs per annum.

Satisfied with the placements, infrastructure and facilities.

Placements: The placements for my batch is below average as compared to the previous pass outs, mainly due to low in IT industry this year. This year (2016-17) only one mass recruiter (till now), Wipro, came for campus placements and hired 98 students. Other recruiters includes Info Edge, Kronos (7 LPA), Newgen, ION (12 LPA), QA Infotech, India Mart, Fiserv among others. Average package is 3 LPA-3.5 LPA. Talking about immediate previous batch placements, it was good as more than 500 students were placed. T...

JSS is not upto the mark but yet better than other AKTU private colleges.

Placements: I joined the college considering the placement records it had in the past years. But with the year unfolding the placements were reduced. Although software companies were yet coming in bulk and CS and IT had almost 100% placements. We also had to compromise by sitting in those software companies that did the mass hiring. As far as core companies are concerned, it was very disappointing for us that very few or no core companies arrived for hiring. I being from Manufacturing Technology branch ca...

As a student of 3rd year, I would say that I'm satisfied with the college. The exposure is excellent.

Placements: The college has a very good placement record. Basically, the CSE and IT branch have almost 100% placements, despite this, there are many other companies who visit campus for other branches too. So, if you are a good learner with good communication skills you can easily get the job for 8 to 12 LPA.

JSS has a vibrant campus and crowd but the placement cell is not up to the mark.

Placements: Placements scenario is very bad in JSS. Very few companies have come this year and there is only one mass recruiter. TCS refused to come and tech m. blacklisted us. No company comes for civil and hardly any company have come for mechanical, electrical and IC braches. Most of the companies come for CS/IT followed by EC.

A good college after all IITs, NITs, and other reputed colleges (BITS, etc)

Placements: Placements are not that great as compared to other reputed colleges as good companies doesn't visit JSS and other similar colleges. Although, placements are totally dependent on your calibre and smart study. Quite good companies like Infosys, TCS, Wipro, and some other small visits here giving a maximum package of 8 lakhs. Internships were not majorly offered and no support for them from JSS.

About the college- JSSATEN

Placements: The placement for the senior batch is quite remarkable. Out of 60 odd students, 35-40 students i.e. 60-65% students get placed in software companies like TCS, Wipro, Kronos, Trianz, etc 1) The highest package -7.1 LPA (by Kronos). 2) Average package -3.2 to 3.8 LPA. 3) The lowest package - 2.9 LPA. The roles offered to the students are related to software development programming, data analyst, MySQL-trainee ,Database Programming, C++ and Java basic knowledge.

Placements: Almost 90% students were placed from Computer Science & Information Technology department. The highest package offered was 9 LPA by Kronos. The average package offered was 3.5 LPA. Companies that visited the campus were Infosys, TCS, Wipro, Adobe, Tech Mahindra, Kronos, InfoTech, Info Edge, Timex, Indian Navy, ION Trading, etc. Most of the students got internships from in startups and the average stipend they get was 5k-10k.

Moderate college for pursuing MCA but the best for BTech

Placements: Placement for my batch is not good this year as only 8 students out of 84 students have been placed till now, including me. Last year, almost 50% students were placed. Now, the MCA craze is going down year by year. MCA also gets less percentage of placements when compared to BTech and now it is decreasing year by year. The highest package offered last year was 3.8 to 4.2 LPA and the lowest package was 2.4 LPA. This year the highest package was 3.1 LPA and the lowest is 2.4 LPA till now. Usually,...

Good campus, nice studies, awesome people, you'll really like it here.

Placements: The placement rate from JSS is moderate, which mostly features upon the tech related branches like computer science, information technology, electronics etc. But the students that are placed have a medium level starting package, neither so low nor too much. Companies like Infosys, TCS, Kronos etc. do visit the campus every year and takes many of the students. If you're looking for the internships in between your college period which is actually compulsory, for that the college provides a list of...

Library is one of the best places in my college. Placement is just average. The faculty is experienced. TCS and Infosys are some companies that comes in our college for recruitment but not every year. It is the best private college of UPTU.
