Absolutely satisfied with the faculty, very supportive and helpful, good placement.
Placements: Placement records for the B.Com course at Bedekar College are "good". They offer various courses free of cost that really help you to get a desired job, for eg: TNS India Foundation provides courses for placement assistance. Various placement drives and walk-in interviews.
Infrastructure: Bedekar College provides adequate facilities for B.Com students. The college has well-equipped classrooms, a well-stocked library with a good collection of books and journals, and access to Wi-Fi on campus. The computer lab is equipped with the necessary software for students to work on assignments and projects.
Faculty: The teachers at Bedekar College are generally helpful, qualified, and knowledgeable. Many have industry experience, which brings valuable real-world insights into the classroom. The teaching quality is good, with a focus on both theoretical concepts and practical applications.
Other: I chose the B.Com course at Bedekar College primarily because of its strong academic reputation. There are n number of fests and events conducted by the college, Gandharva, Navrang, and many more, musical, dancing, art, everything.

Bachelors of Mass Media - Batch of 2024

Kind of a good college but has a room of improvement in sports.
Placements: It's not that focused on the placement, I guess. Though they give good opportunities, I guess internships should be compulsory by the end of the 2nd or 3rd year because it takes again more months after graduating. As of that time, we need a good job but we are searching for internships.
Infrastructure: The faculty could be more polite, teaching could be better, and the campus is good. They should not sell turf and basketball courts for their own pockets, it should be free for the students, otherwise, it's kind of good. Overall, campus is a good experience to have.
Faculty: The teachers are good , but some of them were just reading out the notes and nothing else. It's like listening to a textbook. The methods could be better and more creative for students to actually accumulate something from them, but also there are teachers who take up good efforts for us.
Other: Fests and events weren't even allowed much. Events could have been more interesting and enjoyable if they truly took the initiative.

Not satisfied with the faculty.
Placements: There is no placement provided to us by the college since there is a placement cell in the college. The placement cell is used for BMS students and other course students. They didn't provide us with internships either, and half of the students are still unemployed after college.
Infrastructure: The infrastructure of the college is average. Although they provide a canteen and one sports clubhouse where we can play carrom and chess, there are no such types of facilities like Wi-Fi. The classrooms are also average; there is one blackboard and benches, just that all. Although there is one seminar hall in which you have one projector, that’s it. There is also one library in the college which people use most of the time. The college also provides SC and ST caste students free textbooks for them. But after the semester, the books are handed over to the library.
Faculty: Talking about teachers, some teachers are really knowledgeable and very good at teaching, but some are not. The college has the worst faculty I have ever seen because the faculty doesn't treat people or students properly. Also, they talk very rudely with everyone. But now, I will give faculty 3 out of 10. The system of curriculum and exams is okay and average, like every college.
Other: The college and the campus are pretty good, but the faculty and the teaching style of some teachers are not that good. Also, they don't teach in a practical language to the students. The college also has the worst fest I have ever seen because they are not well-organized. Bedekar College is known for its campus, but the college doesn't utilize its campus properly. Although they have a very big campus, the crowd is also average. Talking about the scholarship, the college has a scholarship for ST, SC, and OBC, which is good for them.

A college life in Bedekar.
Placements: The top roles offered in our course include Accountant, as well as Sales and Marketing Head positions. Banks primarily recruit for placements at our college, focusing on skills related to Tally and using software to enhance the presentation of financial statements.
Infrastructure: Our college boasts excellent infrastructure, including a football turf, cricket nets, and a basketball court. Indoor games like carrom and chess are also available, along with a gym. A medical team is on hand to assist students with any injuries. The canteen offers healthy and fresh food.
Faculty: In the first and second years, there are a total of seven subjects, while the third year includes six subjects across six semesters. Each semester features one internal and one external test conducted offline in the classroom. Attendance is rewarded with five marks, while 15 marks are allocated for projects.
Other: During the winter season, the college hosts various events, including dance and singing competitions, culminating in a grand "Jallosh" event where all students come together in formal attire to celebrate and enjoy.

Overall, my college is well-maintained, with good placements, events, and faculty.
Placements: Nearly around 400-500 students are placed in the course. As I'm still pursuing the course, I don't have any information about the placement outcomes. Many well-known companies have approached our college, such as Godrej and Symbiosis. About 30 percent of the students have secured internships. I have no information about the roles.
Infrastructure: In general, every facility needed for students' well-being is present. Labs, classrooms, the library, and all other required facilities are available. There are basketball courts, cricket turfs, and also indoor games like carrom, chess, and table tennis.
Faculty: The teachers are good, extremely qualified, and possess deep knowledge. The teaching methods and explanations are advanced. The difficulty level of exams is hard, but this should not be an issue. The overall pass percentage is 99.81 percent, in my view.
Other: The Gandharva event is worth it. The crowd is decent, and the vibe is full of enjoyment. Other activities are also carried out well.

Honest review of Joshi Bedekar College.
Placements: Since students have completed their 5th semester, the college has started offering companies to take their interviews. Companies like HDFC Bank, ICICI Bank, TJSB, etc. come and take the interviews. If the students are eligible and have good skills, they get placed.
Infrastructure: The college Wi-Fi is everywhere; sometimes it connects, sometimes it doesn't. In the computer lab, some computers don't work; they have some other problems. The library is also average; it only consists of text books; it should have books that interest the students, whether they are fictional or not, in order to improve their reading skills. The people in the canteen are very rude; this is one of the things the college needs to improve in them and the food in the canteen is not up to par.
Faculty: The faculty, that is the teachers are very helpful soft-spoken and have full knowledge and experience of what they are teaching. The course curriculum are sometimes not so relevant because some concepts are only theoretical and do not have any practical implication. Exams in this college are conducted in very serious manner; there is separate examination committee, paper-setting committee, etc. So the exams are conducted in a fair manner.
Other: The college crowd is average and not so exciting; the college conducts events and festivals, which is boring; students don't enjoy that at all, whereas the campus is very beautiful, close to nature and full of greenery.
