Decent with good ROI, good infrastructure, great exposure.

Placements: Considering the college falls in tier 2 category, the placements are decent in terms of profile and remuneration. All types of companies offering packages from 5 lakhs to 15 lakhs visit the campus, but it purely depends on the student's calibre. The average package of the college goes around 8.5 lakhs. Since the fee is less as compared to other colleges, it provides a good ROI.

It is a good college to pursue an MBA in Mumbai.

Placements: The college holds a record of 100% placements. Placements are awesome for marketing/sales domain. Many companies which visit for summers offer a pre-placement offer. There are many opportunities for a live project, and thanks to the prime location of the college, Mumbai. The average salary package offered is 9 LPA. There is a variety of profiles offered by the companies. The profiles offered are worth looking up. The average salary package offered in our course is 9 LPA.

Value for money college, with good return on investment.

Placements: I would say that the placements this year (2015-17) as well as of last year (2014-16) have been good and are improving year on year. The highest package converted is CTC Rs. 24 LPA while the average package is somewhere above CTC Rs. 9 LPA. Almost every student seeking placement secured a job from the campus last year (2014-16) and looking at the current situation, placements for this year (2015-17) might reach a 100% by end of January. Around 300 companies have visited the campus including Goog...

This is a mediocre college, and you can do better here.

Placements: Decent brands visit the campus for the placements. The problem is with the process, which is not fair. The placement team is comprising of the students having an upper hand in a process. If I talk about packages, they are decent and ranges from 5 LPA to 26 LPA. However, I would suggest the students aiming for MBA to first look for a profile, and if you are not happy with your work, even in a 50 LPA job, you'll be frustrated.

SIMSR, making dreams come true for the students.

Placements: The placement is done by taking CET test (in-house) at college premises. Around 500 students appeared for the same and 60 were selected based on CET scores. The campus interview happened when we were in the third year and the companies like Reliance, ZEE, etc. from various industries participated. Roles in Finance, Marketing, HR and IT were offered to the students. Selected candidates having 6 to 7 were opted for internship and average stipend offered them is 1.5 to 2 LPA.

The best ROI, excellent campus and excellent placement.

Placements: SIMSR has a dedicated placement cell and placement officers who provide 100% placements as it is a deemed university. Last year, more than 320 companies visited the campus with average salaries going up to 9.1 LPA and the mean salaries being around 10LPA. The lowest is 4LPA and the highest is 21 LPA. The internship opportunities are average, though. The placements are integrated, so all the courses get equal weightage in terms of placements here.

It is one of the top colleges of Mumbai but not in league with SP Jain or JBIMS though. The course structure is good with the trimester system. Visiting faculty from the industry coming to the college is generally better. Campus is amazing. Somaiya Wi-Fi is available for all the students.

SIMSR, as it is known is located in the heart of Mumbai. Therefore, you know the location advantages it brings in to you, in terms of company placements. Despite of the space crunch in Mumbai, SIMSR has a huge campus and lots of greenery. The campus has a nice infrastructure and a great online source of learning along with a library with variety of books and magazines on all topics. Gym and sports amenities in the campus are something anyone can fall for and make SIMSR an obvious choice as it of...

SIMSR is well situated in the heart of Mumbai in Ghatkopar. College being accessible from anywhere, it is easy to reach from any corner of the city. The faculty of SIMSR is undoubtedly the best faculty where we have the alumni's of London school of economics, IIMs and many other top B-Schools. Most of the professors are straight from the industry, so they know very well what students should focus on. Life here is quite happening. We have quiz competitions and events almost daily. College has decent infrastructure. The faculty is experienced and the placements are decent as well. Also, the college is basically student run and there is trimester system even for MMS. The HR and operations batches are also of considerable size. The faculty is approachable. Student committees can go a little overboard while managing though.

The best thing about the college is its campus facilities, encouragement in sports and extra curricular activities as well as the staff and mentor helping the student and guiding them well. Students have been encouraged and allowed to take initiative for arranging various fests, quiz and business events within the college premises. The atmosphere within the classroom and campus is always energetic and enthusiastic.
