This is a great college situated in the heart of Mumbai. The faculty is good, and very helpful when it comes to solving doubts. It is a great college with large campus. Staff is helpful. Teachers are great. Classrooms are neat with wide space. These are my review. So, everyone has their personal views. But the college is far better than others in area. Facilities provide are nice and crowd is friendly.
It is good college and average placement service because you expect high etc. They provide high campus facilities. They have a good canteen and experienced faculty with good crowd and not only supportive but also with best buddies. KJ Somaiya Engineering College is improving at a brisk pace in terms of placements, infrastructure, internship and crowd. There are many more to list down. The best part of pursuing MMS here is the autonomy that KJ SIMSR has in terms of academics. Attempts are being made to match curriculum of institutes like IIM. They are also succeeding to an extent, but still in a working phase which can be expected to be perfected in a short span of time.
The college has an amazing campus and gives brilliant return for your investment. For the fees of not more than 7 LPA, almost everyone get placed at a package of 8 LPA or more. The college is very vast and is surrounded by a lot of greenery. The college is working towards getting the best of sports facilities and infrastructure for the students. The faculty members are good as well. I have enjoyed and learned a lot from the 2 years I spent at K J Somaiya.
K. J. SIMSR has a great campus and variety of different courses for the students. SIMSR is now granted autonomous status from Mumbai University for MCA course too. I really liked the infrastructure and facilities provided by the institute to students. Classrooms have all the necessary equipment and utilities for academics. All the classrooms are air-conditioned that keeps studying environment to remain conducive. The sports facilities are good, with a cricket and a football ground. The college does provide a hostel. There is no system of donation, admission is based purely on merit, and the system is transparent. The faculty is slightly better for the PGDM course, as compared to MMS, but the syllabus is almost parallel. If you see rankings,you will find this college at around 22nd rank but I don't believe in rankings. I have been here from the last 15 days and can see a lot of change in me. I am from Raipur. I was not so open or you can say I didn’t know myself. But as soon as I enter SIMSR (KJ Somaiya) everything changed. It has changed my way of thinking. There are a lot of opportunities. As days are passing by, I learn something new. I have opened up a lot. In next 2 years at SIMSR, I will really be exiting.
It is a good college in Mumbai. College campus is excellent. Also the location of the college, is situated in a good locality. And the staff of all the departments is also nice. Teach us well and extent help to students in their work. All the faculty members are exceptional. Everything is good, I like this College because of the facilities provided.
