SIMSR was something great. But future is a big question!

Placements: Placement is average at simsr. 70% of the batch gets between 8-10 LPA. 20% gets below 8 LPA & rest 10% gets above 10 LPA. You get good brands on campus but the profiles are not so great. The quality of placements is stagnant for last 3 years. Average figure hovers around 8.5 to 9.5 LPA. 100% of the batch gets placed. The management of the college has no priorities for placements. They consider placements as a bi-product & burden.

The most mismanaged management institute in the heart of the financial capital.

Placements: Placements are highly inflated in all public domains. Majority of students get less than 6 Lacs per annum despite investing over 12 Lacs. Placement cell is only interested in their own placement for the best package. Rest of the students hardly get fair opportunities in placement. Most of the summer internship batch is unplaced this year.

It has world-class facilities and still improvising.

Placements: The placements are good in terms of the number of companies visiting the college. Big brands do come to the college (we are not allowed to list them). As many students studying in the college, the average placement rate has gone down, otherwise, it would be very nice. The placement cell works very hard all the time to get new companies to the campus. Do visit the website for actual details on average.

It is a brilliant campus and excellent return on capital.

Placements: The placement cell is very efficient, and it ensures 100% placement. The median salary in my year was 7.5 LPA. The highest package was 14.5 LPA. However, it depends on your performance during placements in ensuring you get the best placement. Even the placement cell makes sure everyone get internships.

Definitely one of the best colleges for HR professionals.

Placements: Around 90% of the students got placed through the campus. The packages can vary between 2 to 6 Lacs per annum, the highest being 9 Lacs per annum. The students get placed in the areas of Human resources and industrial relations. Very good placements.

The placements and the faculty of the college are good.

Placements: The placements are good. Morethan 250 companies are coming to the campus. The college does take placements very seriously. The committee is hardworking and determined to place the students as early as possible. The college provides 100% placements every year and is doing well.

A place worth to go for an MBA.

Placements: The placements are fine here. You get good opportunities to sit. The average CTC is around 8-9 lacs per annum, but that not it. We have many companies who offer more than 10 also. The highest goes up to 23 lacs per annum, and the lowest goes up to 6 lacs per annum. Most of the offers are from banking and IT sector. By the end of course, normally 95% of the batch is placed. Roles vary from consulting to customer relationship manager. There is a placement cell that supports you throughout the plac...

The honest review of SIMSR PGDM.

Placements: It is a tier 2 college with an inexperienced TPO and placement team. The placements are good only for freshers but not for experienced people. 90% of the batch gets placed between 8 LPA to 9.5 LPA regardless whatever they claim. Do not expect high paying companies. Only a handful of companies come and take 1 or 2 persons. Most of the companies that visit are BFSI companies for finance or marketing. Operations and HR to depend on other stream companies only for placements.

The college has good industry exposure with great facilities.

Placements: The placements at SIMSR are satisfactory with various profiles in different industries offered by companies. SIMSR has almost 100% placement records in past years. Also, the average package is increasing every year as the management is focusing on industry exposure.

The college has the good placements, average faculty members, and the best campus.

Placements: The placement depends on your field. They're good for the finance with the profiles like derivatives trading, financial planning, research, corporate finance, etc. The marketing is mostly the sales profiles with a few core marketing profiles. The good brands visit the campus, and overall, the opportunities are good.

A good experience for a fresher.

Placements: The highest package is of 26 lacs per annum for a finance profile. The lowest is around 5 lacs for marketing profiles. HR placements are not great due to lack of sufficient batch strength. Overall, good placements for people within the 0-2 experience bracket. For those with more experience, there are limited options to meet expectations.

Good placements, average teaching, the best campus life.

Placements: Marketing placements are very average with 80% roles being of sales. Core marketing roles are very hard to find. The ones which come with core marketing roles offer very fewer packages. Finance placements are good with the best brands with core profiles visiting the campus, a few are namely, corporate finance, treasury, derivatives trading, stock analysis etc. Overall placements are good with 9 LPA as an average package.

The best ROI, amazing campus life.

Placements: The best placements considering the fees. The placements were offered best for the finance and marketing with good core profiles at offer. HR placements are average with batch of only 15 people. Big brands visit the campus for the finance and marketing. Almost all major industries are part of the placements season. The placements range from 6 lacs per annum to 25 lacs per annum with the average of 9 lacs per annum.

An opportunity to meet the best people and the environment is amazing.

Placements: The placements were satisfactory, and the policies transparent. More than 90% of the batch placed before the last trimester. The average package is as per the industry standards, competitive to tier 1 and 2 business schools. Big brands are associated with the college, giving high ROI to the students.

Fine placements with good infrastructure.

Placements: The placements offered are good for the freshers who don't have any specific expectation about the profile and salary. The students with work experience face quite a lot of dilemma due to profiles offered and the salary offered. Sometimes it leads to compromise between these factors or both.

They are good, but they can get better.

Placements: The placement of the senior batch was almost 100%, and the current batch placement is going good, but not as great as the previous year's placements. The average package is about Rs. 8 lakhs. The summer placement for both the senior and junior placements was 100%. The roles offered for the summer Internship are very poor, and only a handful of them get good roles, but the roles for the final placements were good. The average stipend for the summer internship is Rs. 20,000 to Rs. 25,000. There is...

Average placements. The faculty are good.

Placements: Placements of the college are 100%. Many reputed companies visit the campus for placements. Average to good roles were offered to the students. Further details cannot be disclosed. Placement committee is overly secretive. Barely any details are given to the students. We have no right to reject PPOs. Many times, students are forced to appear for companies out of their interest.

Placements: The companies from the various sectors visit the campus such as BFSI, Consulting, FMCG, etc. The packages offered are good considering the fees. The average package range is around 9 lacs per annum, with some as high as 25 lacs per annum to low as 4 lacs per annum. The summer internship is equally good. The average stipend offered to be Rs. 15,000. More companies are added every year, and bigger brands keep getting associated.

It is the best college in terms of ROI in Mumbai, and has the best infrastructure.

Placements: The placement has been good with companies coming in from various sectors and offering good packages. Opportunity for both freshers and students with work experience are good. Also, there is no discrimination between MMA and PGDM programme, as both sit for placement together.

Really good infrastructure and facilities.

Placements: The placements for all the senior batches have been very good. There has been a consistent rise in the placement offers and the salaries as well. The economic slowdown did affect the placements this year, but there was a gradual improvement eventually. Companies from all the sectors visited the campus this year, and the roles offered were really good, and the salaries were at par with the industry standards.
