Strong academics, hands-on learning, and vibrant campus life with room for growth.
Placements: A higher rate of students were placed.
The top recruiting companies are TCS, Wipro, and Capgemini.
Nearly about 5 percent of students got internships.
Top roles were offered in payroll management and banking operations.
Infrastructure: High-speed internet access is available throughout the department, ensuring that students can stay connected for research, online learning, and collaboration. There may also be dedicated computer labs with high-performance systems for specialized software needs.
Faculty: Teachers are generally helpful, qualified, and knowledgeable, with many holding advanced degrees (Masters or PhDs) in their respective fields. They bring both academic expertise and, in some cases, industry experience to the classroom. Faculty members are often approachable, willing to offer additional guidance.
Other: I chose this course because of my strong interest in accounting. I was drawn to the opportunity to develop a solid foundation in both theoretical knowledge and practical skills, which would allow me to explore a wide range of career opportunities. The course also offers hands-on experience, industry relevance, and access to a network of professionals, which I felt would be crucial for my personal and professional growth.

Our college has very good facilities.
Placements: Around 40-45% of commerce students get placed. Around 65% of our course students get placements in renowned companies. We get an accountant role in the company. The highest salary package offered is 5 LPA and the average salary package is 2.5 LPA.
Infrastructure: Every department has Wi-Fi and a separate lab. IT lab has the capacity to hold more than 50 students at a time. Library is average as it doesn't have a variety of books. It has the capacity to allot 100 to 120 students.
Faculty: The teaching is very good. Teachers in our college are well qualified and have working experience in the corporate sector. They teach students according to the need of the industry. It is easy to pass as students have to attend all lectures.
Other: I chose this course as per the suggestions of my father. The best thing about our course is that it has all the subjects related to chartered accountant.

College placements are bad, only toppers get placed.
Placements: Around 10%-20% of students get placed with, the highest salary package offered was 3.5 LPA and the lowest salary package offered was 2 LPA. Top recruiting companies were Capgemini, Wipro, and others. There is no internship offered in college, only jobs are offered to students.
Infrastructure: Facilities provided by our college are Computer labs, an Auditorium, Clinical facilities, Laboratories, Seminar halls, and a library. Talking about food quality it is too good. In any issue with food the relevant college authorities take necessary action against it and sort it out as quickly as possible
Faculty: Faculty members are helpful, qualified, and knowledgeable. Course curriculum is relevant, but it needs to be improved. It is taught at a basic level and does not make students industry-ready. Semester exams are average, and the college pass percentage is around 95%. Syllabus needs to be improvised.

A little change is needed in the infrastructure of the college.
Placements: About 80% of students are placed in our course. The highest salary offered is approximately Rs.30000 per month. Students got very well-paying jobs and great internships the previous year. IT course has a good opportunity for students for his future. Students got internship opportunities too.
Infrastructure: In our college, the facilities are good. Labs and classrooms are well-maintained and ventilated. The quality of food served in mess and canteen is good. Wi-Fi facilities are available in this college. A hostel facility is not available in our college. Every department of every course is good.
Faculty: Teachers are very helpful and friendly with all students. The teaching quality is good. The curriculum of every course is relevant for students in the real world. Semester exams conducted in our college are quite difficult.
About 80% of students pass the semester.
Other: About 90% of students passed through our college. In our college, all events conducted are enjoyable.

Review of K. V. Pendharkar College of Arts, Science and Commerce.
Placements: There are almost 55 students in my course. There are no placement options in Pendharkar College. For placements, teachers generally send information of companies that are offering internships, but teachers send those on their own and not by the college.
Infrastructure: There are 3-4 IT labs in our college. Each of those has well-stabled and established computer systems. Each system is good and useful for students. Each one has internet access. The libraries are good, but the problem is that the books are outdated.
Faculty: The teachers are very helpful and have good knowledge about their subjects. They teach very well and always solve the doubts of students. I think the curriculum is a bit outdated, and the current software used in industry is ahead of what we learn.

B.A. in Psychology - Batch of 2025

College in Dombivli for Psychology .
Placements: We have limited seats for psychology, e.g., 30 students per year. The college doesn't provide us with placements. We can opt for a psychologist or therapist after our masters. And we have chances to get jobs in an NGO, a mental hospital, or as a private therapist, and we can open our own clinic.
Infrastructure: We have great infrastructure as per the other colleges in Dombivli and Kalyan. In psychology, we have our own lab and counseling center. Classes are big enough. The library is also great. This year, the canteen has been modified to have nice food at affordable prices.
Faculty: Professors are great for our faculty. They have an M.A. in psychology. Their teaching style is also very nice; they teach us using different methods to understand us. Semesters are held in September and March. We get enough understanding of each subject and teachers are also very helpful.
Other: I have a personal interest in psychology; that's why I chose this course. The best thing about this course is that it gives us an understanding of human nature. It would have been much better if college had offered us internships. We have our own fest, VALAY.
