A:
{Source: B.Voc students & alumni}

Based on the feedback from students and alumni, here's a summary of the pros and cons:

Pros:

* Good faculty: Majority of the students praised the professors' teaching quality, enthusiasm, and willingness to help.
* Relevant curriculum: The course curriculum is considered relevant and prepares students for the industry.
* Extracurricular activities: Events, festivals, and competitions are regularly organized, providing students with opportunities to develop their skills outside of academics.
* Infrastructure: The college has decent infrastructure, including modern classrooms, libraries, and playgrounds.
* Scholarship opportunities: Scholarships are available for students who perform well academically.

Cons:

* Placement record: The college's placement record is unsatisfactory, with only 10% of students getting placed.
* Limited company visits: Few reputed companies visit the college for recruitment, making it challenging for students to secure well-paying jobs.
* Lack of internship and training: Many students felt that the college did not provide adequate internship and training opportunities.
* Disappointing academic outcome: Some students reported not receiving their mark sheets despite completing the course.
* Limited hostel facilities: The college does not offer hostels, which may be inconvenient for students coming from outside Delhi.

In conclusion, while the B.Voc programme at Kalindi College has its strengths, such as good faculty and relevant curriculum, the poor placement record and limited internship opportunities may raise questions about its worthiness. Students considering this course should weigh these factors carefully before investing in their education.

A little dissatisfied with the average infrastructure.
Placements: Not much students were placed in my course. I don't have information about the others. But the options for my course are really less and not good. Most students have to look out for themselves. All in all, the major fields may be some research work in some companies.
Infrastructure: The hostel is under construction from 2-3 years and the work is also stopped without finishing. So the hostel facility is not available, and regarding the infrastructure of the college, the Science block definitely needs some construction as the building is quite old.
Faculty: There are some really good and knowledgeable teachers in the faculty of botany. Some of them are really helpful too. About the curriculum, not much can be said. It teaches some basic laboratory skills to the students and everyone can learn something extra. The semester exams are okay.
Other: The best thing about the course may be the faculty and the research work done by us, which makes us learn new things.

Every child dreams of a placement that they don't get.
Placements: Admission is based on the 12th result. Anyone can take admission, whether their percentage is low, in distance learning. They don't offer any packages. No company is attached to them. Students don't get internships, whether you top in class or not. Honours in the subject of Political Science.
Infrastructure: They have only 2-3 buildings. They don't have a large campus. I'm doing it from distance; they give classes on Sunday and charge semester fees more than regular students. They don't have labs or a library. There is less medical facility, with only a first aid box available. No sports room.
Faculty: Teachers are good, very helpful, knowledgeable, and supportive. They have a good sense of teaching. The course curriculum is relevant to knowledge of politics, from the history of politics' origin to current events. The semester is not difficult. The passing percentage is very low.
Other: I chose the course because I have been interested in Political Science since childhood. Delhi University is a very well-named and famous university. They should add educational visits and lectures by passed-out students. They hold very few fests compared to other colleges of Delhi University. The campus is very small, with no canteen and nothing eye-catching. Only one water lake is nice. They haven't given me a scholarship yet.

Really good infrastructure but dissatisfied with placement cell. The teachers are really good.
Placements: There is a placement cell, but it doesn't seem to be working. Only a few students in certain courses got placed, and only one or two students from this course. The students are not even aware of how the placement cell works or how to face an interview. There is no one to tell us or help us with placement cell circulars.
Infrastructure: The labs at this college are good. They have good equipment and are well maintained. However, the Wi-Fi is unreliable, and there are often network issues. The medical facilities are good, but the food in the canteen is not very good and is not very hygienic. The NIT is good in theory but is expensive for students and has lots of network issues.
Faculty: The teaching quality is great, and the teachers are very helpful. The exams are moderate, but we need to work hard to do well. The teachers are qualified and knowledgeable, and they are always willing to help. However, due to Wi-Fi issues, we sometimes have difficulty accessing the internet, and sometimes the systems are not working.
Other: I really like the practical aspects of the course. The competitive environment is a plus. However, the number of practical classes could be increased, and the fest could be improved. There are a lot of extracurricular activities, but the college should provide more time management assistance or leniency in attendance for students who participate in extracurricular activities.

NAAC has provided my college with an A+ accredited grade, which is better than the previous grade.
Placements: I think my all-over batch is good. And in my course, students average percentage is 80%. In my course, the lowest package is 9 thousand, and the highest package is 11 thousand only. In my course, 70% of students got internships from our course. The student should be careful in time management .
Infrastructure: All over facilities are okay, not good. I think library areas are so small and very old book editions are available. Wi-Fi is available, but it is not working as properly. Hostels are not provided in my college. Sports and games are played by the students.
Faculty: All teachers are good in behaviour, have good teaching skills, and are very active. But some time students get low-scoring marks in exams. Their main reason is that they do not come to the college regularly. So students are facing difficulties in the semester exam.
Other: I chose this course because of my interest in politics and what happens globally. There may be New Edition books provided in my course. Events, fests, campus crowd, connectivity—everything happens in my college.

Absolutely good placement and well equipped computer lab.
Placements: Students scoring above 80% marks easily secure good placements. Companies also evaluate personality and skills before selecting candidates. Most students get internships and jobs in the fields of economics and computer (IT), which is beneficial for any student.
Infrastructure: The computer labs are fully air-conditioned, and the systems are in excellent working condition. The college has its own canteen, Nescafe outlet, and medical rooms. The canteen food is affordable and good for students, while Nescafe offers great coffee and Maggi. Overall, the facilities are very good.
Faculty: The teachers are knowledgeable and very helpful. Their teaching quality is excellent, with unique methods of instruction. The courses in computer and economics open up wide opportunities for students' futures. While semester exams are generally manageable, the economics exams are notably tough and well-designed.

Nice faculty but not good for placements at all.
Placements: Placement is horrible at Kalindi College. You can only expect 2-3 LPA jobs with no career growth at all. No domain-specific internships or job placement opportunities. I haven't heard of a single senior or batchmate being placed at a good college. Don't expect anything.
Infrastructure: In the name of infrastructure, there is nothing. It's been 3 years and there is a hostel under construction which is still in it with no visible progress. Other than that, washrooms are the worst part of it. Canteen is also just average. Then again, what can you expect for an off-campus college. I personally chose it because of my course econ hons. You have CP really close, so you can hit that also. Overall, it was just fine.
Faculty: Faculty is overall satisfactory with some great ones, this is for Economics hons, which is like a rigorous course so don't expect something extraordinary. Because of that, always first research about your course and faculty and then make a solid decision. Of course, college name goes a long way in life. Mark my words.
