Placements: Placement is not at all good. We can see all the students selected posters in our college notice board. Almost all are Bros. Only TCS is the technical company that recruits every year. Yearly TCS will recruit exactly 20 students from all branches. Mostly all from top 5 ranked students from every branch. It's even less number of students now a days.
Placements: The placements are not soo good because there are only very few companies coming to the college. Till now, only TCS visited our campus. Management couldn't understand the students' problem. So, if a number of companies visit our college is more, then many students get benefits.
Placements: The placement of the senior batch was not good, and for our batch it even went poor. Only 2% of the students got placed in the very few companies that came to college and that were TCS and inspired memories and which offered a package of 3.3lpa. The college is having a placement cell but it is like just for name purpose because the ratio of numbers of students not getting placed to the students getting placed is high.
Placements: The placements are poor for the mechanical branch, but for CS and IS much better than the other departments of the college. The placement cell is providing all information regarding, the job even after you came out of college. And contact the students through the emails they provided.
Placements: The college is very old. Only a few companies visit the campus. Mostly, the pool placement drives are held. All the students and my classmates are well-settled in good companies. As I observed, the teaching quality is declining these days. I will give 3 out of 5 for the placements in our college.
Placements: There is no placement expect in TCS with just 20 members intake. There are no other placements. The companies came to our college. We have undergone the placement training, but there is no use of it. It is a very good institute, and the management is supportive.
Placements: There is poor placement activity in this college. There are only 2 companies that had visited the drive, and less than 2% students got placed and the highest package offered was around 3.3LPA. The companies attended for placements are TCS, Inspiredmemories. The roles offered were an Assistant engineer. The placement cell is present in the college but the activity is poor. There is no internship or stipend offered.
Placements: In our college, there are placements for our seniors. Only, 13 percent of the students are placed. I'm not offered any salary because of I'm a fresher. Only, TCS company offered the packages to the percentage students. There are no internships. The only reason in our college is there are internships, so student didn't got any jobs.
Placements: For both senior and our batch, TCS is the only company which recruited 2 seniors and 6 of my batchmates. Only 2% of the students get placed here. The highest salary offered here is 2.4 lacs per annum, and the maximum is 3 lacs per annum by TCS. Only TCS is the biggest company which arrives here and with a small recruitment. Only 5% of the students got the internship. There is a placement cell which is very useful for nothing.
Placements: Except for TCS, no other companies are interested in hiring students of our college till now. Only 2 of our batchmates got placed in TCS. One good thing is that they are providing skill development training to students. They are conducting placement activity just for numbers/count to show it to the management.
Placements: There were few companies for hiring, and TCS is the common company for the years. A new company Siscon was there, but there was a bond to join the company, though some of my friends liked to join. As in summary, we can't expect a huge number of companies for placement as it happens in Bangalore colleges.
Placements: Unfortunately, this is where the college keeps its students in a stake. Only a few companies will visit every year, and the placements are very few in numbers. Last year, TCS was the only recognised company which came for the recruitment, and only five students were selected for the job process. The faculty members encourage students for the pool campus processes.
Placements: Not many companies are coming, but few companies will come. Probably 3 to 4 companies come to the campus. TCS is the example, but the teaching and the management are worst. The campus is small and the surrounding it too bad, but the reality is the worst in the college.
Placements: There are very few placements. Mostly, 10-15 students get placed annually. Only a few companies visit the campus. TCS is the most common one that comes every year. Compared to the last year, this year's placements are good. The placement training is not good according to me. They don't teach what companies need. But, this year, they changed training consultancy, and it is much better.
Placements: There is a tremendous support towards placements. The college tries to push each and every student for placements, and the college will organise training for the same. Mr.David Harris, the placement officer, has helped the students in all aspects, and I got a place in Merchant Navy for M/s West Line Ship Management.
Placements: I was in electronics and communication branch, as far as placement is concerned, it's average. When I was in 2nd year of my graduation only 8-10% of my seniors, go placed in a reputed company with a good package, and some got an average package too. TCS hired only five people from our branch and that also without an interview process. They hired toppers of our branch which is just for namesake. Out of five, three were girls and two boys, and ony two persons joined the company. ...
Placements: In our batch, only a few students got selected in the campus recruitment. The campus provides only a few placement opportunities. Our college has invited some training institutes for campus recruitment process. Those training institutes pick the candidates and provide them free training, that's it. For our batch, only one major company visited the campus for a recruitment process- that is TCS. Apart from that, none of the companies visited the campus.
Placements: It is very poor in our college when compared to other colleges. In our batch, only 25-30 got selected in the campus interview and also for our senior batch, around 25 people got a job during campus recruitment. Our college has only a few companies for recruitments, in that, TCS is a major one. Apart from TCS, all others are start-ups and consultancies. None of the students got an opportunity for an internship from our college.
Teaching wise, our college is the best. But, placements are not good. Very few companies visit our college. The Faculty is good. The support given by the college is very good. Not just academic wise, our college supports for non-curriculum activities as well, especially, sports. Since it is located in a town, students do not get much distracted. And the town is famous for the education facilities. Lectures are very punctual and even a single hour is not wasted.
It’s a very good college located in Tiptur, 140km far from Bangalore. The college has very good infrastructure and quality of education is also good. Management is less co-operative, needs to be improved. The main part of technical education is to get job, but it lags in it.
