MBBS - Bachelor of Medicine and Bachelor of Surgery - Batch of 2028

Good college and teaching and also best infrastructure.
Placements: There are nearly 150 students our batch. As this is a medical college there are no packages and placements. We can apply for a hospital after the course. Almost all do internship in this college itself and almost all the students will become doctors.
Infrastructure: The infrastructure is decent enough with all the facilities needed by the students. Hostel is good enough and also has the best facilities like wardrobe, attached bathrooms, beds, etc. Food is given of good quality. Menu is chosen by seniors. There are also very less games to play in our campus.
Faculty: The teaching faculty is awesome here and they are highly qualified. Teaching quality is the best. The teaching is helpful for students and it makes us industry ready. The exams here are very difficult than NEET exam. Passing percentage is 40%.

It's a good college but still needs to improve.
Placements: Placement is not provided in medical colleges, But doing an internship here is not that worth, it because they aren't going to pay fan or internship now NMC has decided to pay interns now I'm in 1st year so by the time I'll be an intern I think they will pay.
Infrastructure: Good classrooms, Good facilities especially the Anatomy department, Good Library, Hostel, Canteen, and Mess, our hostel is good 24 hours electricity, but no Wi-Fi, bathroom, the washroom is well maintained, and the hostel has restricted timing within 6 PM you should be on campus.
Faculty: The teaching staff is good. Especially anatomy department, Good dissection hall, good Osteology classes, and good Histology classes with well-experienced staff, but it's quite tuf to qualify or pass the internals in the end it's all our efforts to pass the exam.

Absolutely dissatisfied because of administration.
Placements: Currently the first batch from the college is doing their internship and basically there is no campus placements/recruitment for medical graduates unlike in engineering. In The first passing out batch, almost 95% has got internship in our college hospital. But there is no stephen money given. They are making to work them for free.
Infrastructure: The facilites of hostel, mess, sports mentioned in college website or brochure is all lacking in real. The hostel structure is good with regular cleaning, but there is no proper other facilities like gym, indoor games, TV room, doesn't allow outside food into hostel. The mess food is somewhat okay but not upto the mark. The infrastructure of academic building (classroom) is equipped with good tables, chair, projector, computer, but the classrooms are long (in length), which makes visibility of screen inappropriate. The library is equipped with different books, but doesn't allow to carry books out of library, and even only 1-2 books is limited to a person.
Faculty: The teachers are qualified enough, knowledgeable and helpful. MBBS is a vast course, which makes all students serious in study related matters. Usually the exams criteria are difficult and complicated, but regular studying eases the difficulty. There is a pass percentage of 90-95% in our college from past 4 years in annual exams.
Other: If you are interested in joining this college then never imagine of events, fest because the college management is not interested in such things. They charge money for every work like getting sign of principle for some papers, late arrival to hostel.

Absolutely a satisfactory college but lacks patients and has poor hostel facilities.
Placements: MBBS offers one of the highest-paid jobs, and now, India lacks doctors. So, the placements are not a problem for medical students, wherever they go, they will get the job. Kanachur Institute of Medical Sciences is one of the top medical colleges in Karnataka, so you will get a highly-paid job.
Infrastructure: The classrooms are a little good, but the hostels are the worst. They will charge a huge amount from you, but they don't even give basic facilities like cooler or AC, and all rooms are triple-shared, so you can't even think about privacy and a good study environment.
Faculty: The teachers are very strict in this college. They never think about the students. They will treat students like kids. The classes are from 8 am to 4 pm, and we can't go outside the hostel. They charge money from students for any chance they get.
Other: MBBS course is the love.

Good teaching with dedicated faculty, good in infrastructure are able to provide maximum facilities.
Placements: As it is a college of medicine, here no placements are done and no company comes for recruiting students. In the college of Medicine, there is a mandatory internship of 1 Year for all the students pursuing MBBS. In my course, doctors especially general physician are there.
Infrastructure: There are total 4 Lecture Halls, 1 Central Library, Each department Has 2 Labs. Hostel rooms are spacious with attached bathroom, hostel also has a gym, recreation and sports room. Various sports tournaments happen at a gap of 2 months. Mess food is good compared to other colleges.
Faculty: Faculty of our college is well trained and highly qualified having studied from reputed colleges of the country and abroad. They are friendly. Medicine allows you to do hands-on tasks on live patients. Therefore this curriculum is fully relevant.
Other: I chose this course in order to serve and treat the nation and mainly the poor uneducated people of our country. Events and fests happen once in a year which lasts 1 month long.
