Good facilities, faculty members, and infrastructure .
Placements: Yenepoya is a deemed university and has an A+ grade. Our senior batches include 150 students. From our batch onwards, the number of students is 250, and in our admission package itself, an internship is there for 1 year, and the stipend is 1200000. We get a stipend too.
Infrastructure: For our batch, iPad (9th generation) was provided, and there is daily free 5GB Wi-Fi for each student. There is a central library and an open library, and it is available from 8:00 a.m. - 12:00 a.m. inside the campus. Every student of Yenepoya has access to library facilities. And a class can accommodate more than 250 students. Good hygiene is maintained in both the college and hostel. As we have a monthly menu in the hostel, we may get fed up with the food, but it can be adjusted. We have free medical facilities except for the medicine. There are gym facilities and clubs for sports too.
Faculty: Most of the teachers are doctors, and they are so good to us. They are qualified. They will help us in ups and downs. They are so helpful during exam times. If you are lacking in your progress, they will give you extra classes and make sure you make good progress. In a year, we have 3 internals and a university exam at the end of the year. As everyone knows, an MBBS degree is not that easy to be taken, so we must give our maximum effort. If you study it? S easy. If you fail university exams, then remedial exams will be conducted for those who failed each paper; each paper is charged.
Other: Everyone chooses medical life for saving lives and improving society. In our college, every year, the college fest is conducted by 3rd-year students and lasts for a minimum of three days. Other events are conducted by different clubs in our college, and there are social welfare projects too. And most of our seniors ensure our participation. For extracurricular activities, there are clubs for music, dance, and sports.

Review on Yenepoya Medical College.
Placements: We have a total of 150 students in our batch. The total fees per year is 1,750,000. Once we complete our 5.5-year course, we can pursue our postgraduate degree in any stream of our choice. All 150 students, upon completing the final year, are required to do an internship of 365 days in our institution, working under various departments.
Infrastructure: We have a spacious, lush green campus that is both student- and environment-friendly. The college has beautiful infrastructure and an amazing library, and they provide free Wi-Fi. The hostel is very neat and clean, with hygienic attached washrooms. The mess food is tasty and varies constantly to keep it interesting.
Faculty: The faculty members are excellent, possessing high knowledge. They are always willing to help us in all possible ways, and we can approach them at any time. The curriculum is quite difficult, but with hard work, we can excel in our exams. We can make use of the library and simulation lab to study.
Other: I chose the course because I wanted to be a doctor.

Overview of Yenepoya Medical College.
Placements: Students are accepted into the college according to their NEET score for the MBBS batch. Students with an AIR up to 250,000 are accepted. A compulsory internship of one year is completed at Yenepoya Hospital itself. Usually, 5% of students get internships after the entire course at our college.
Infrastructure: The college is well-equipped with modern infrastructure. There is Wi-Fi access for every student on campus. We have one of the largest libraries, with a separate reading room and a computer lab that can be used for reference. The quality of the hostel facilities is said to be average.
Faculty: We have very qualified doctors as professors who are approachable for any academic help required. Teaching standards are really good and help us excel in our knowledge of medicine. The MBBS course is followed under the guidelines of the NMC. Semester exams are usually at a moderate level, with a pass percentage of 90%.
Other: I chose MBBS because it's my passion. The best thing about my course is the ability to engage in humanitarian service. One aspect I would want to improve in the MBBS course is the long and exhausting working hours, such as the 36 hours assigned to interns. This is common in every medical college, which seems inhumane. When patients' lives are in doctors' hands, it is necessary for doctors to stay healthy, making it essential to ensure their mental and physical well-being.

As this year, NEET paper was relatively easy, so you should score 500+ marks to be eligible to participate in the counselling. Although getting a seat will depend on your rank in NEET exam. Please wait for the result declaration.
