MY Experience College Review .
Placements: KIT is the best college in Uttar Pradesh. Nowadays, KIT has become an Autonomous Institute. KIT has decent placement records. The college placement cell faculty is highly qualified and experienced in their field. The college has the best alumni network across the world. Many companies like Reliance, TCS, Accenture, and many more visit the college for placements. The highest package is 35 LPA and the lowest is 2 LPA. The average package is 3.5 LPA. Approximately 95% of students get placed in the on-campus placement drive. Placement depends on your knowledge and skills; the college only helps to grab more placement opportunities.
Infrastructure: The college is very big, with lots of facilities provided for the students. 24/7 Wi-Fi facilities are available with good internet speed. The college is clean, and the environment is green. Classrooms and labs are well-maintained and well-equipped. The college has three buildings for different courses: KIT, KIHE, and KITP. Every building has a separate library. Boys' and girls' hostels are made inside the campus with good facilities. The quality of the mess food is average. The college conducts many events every year, such as technical events, fresher parties, and many more.
Faculty: Teachers are highly qualified and experienced in their subjects. Many of them are pass-out students; they are toppers in their subjects, so they start teaching as assistant professors. The teaching style is excellent. Faculty members are very helpful and friendly in nature. Overall, it is a decent college. You can opt for it if you just want to have a graduation degree.
Placements: The college has decent placement; even I got a package of 10 LPA from campus placement. The college placement cell provides you ample opportunities to grab a well-paying job to kickstart your career; the rest depends on your knowledge and the hard work you put in to get a decent job.
Infrastructure: The college has well-maintained classrooms and a hostel as well. I wasn't the hosteler so I can comment on facilities like food and other things but as far as the college infrastructure is concerned, it is quite decent and it is getting better day by day. Labs are not quite good, especially computer labs. The systems are outdated and you can't learn much from them; you need your own personal laptop.
Faculty: Teachers are quite qualified but the course curriculum at AKTU University is quite outdated. It doesn't meet the current industry demands; you have to do the hard work on your own to get the industry ready. The semester exams of college are very easy; one can clear them even with just one night of study before the exam.
Other: I chose computer science because I was greatly interested in this field. Overall, my experience with college was good, but it would have been much better if we were made industry-ready like students at other colleges. College organizes events and festivals every year so you have a good chance to explore your extracurricular activities. It is situated on the outskirts of Kanpur city in an industrial area so if you are living in Kanpur city somewhere in the middle of the city, then it may take around 1 hour to reach there. Also, the campus surroundings are not as great as they are on the Kanpur-Prayagraj Highway, near an industrial area so there is nothing much in the surroundings other than industries and barren fields.

The college has three separate buildings for different departments: KIHE for BBA and Polytechnic courses, KIT for B.Tech, M.Tech, and other courses, and KITP for pharmacy courses like B.Pharma and D.Pharma. Each building has its own library with a vast collection of books, along with a dedicated hall for peaceful study. Hostel facilities are good, although the quality of mess food is average.
Faculty: All the teachers are highly qualified and experienced in their respective subjects, with many holding Ph.D. degrees. Their teaching style is excellent, focusing more on practical knowledge than bookish learning, making it easier for students to grasp concepts. Placements: KIT is one of the best colleges in terms of study and placement. At the start of the fifth semester, the college placement cell starts training so that students can prepare well for their placement drives. After training is completed, students can sit for their placement drives. Approximately 90% of students get placed in on-campus placements. The highest package is 20 LPA, and the lowest is 2.5 LPA. The average package is 3.5 LPA. Placement depends on your knowledge and skills; the college will help, but the rest of the work is done by the student. Roles offered by companies depend on your job criteria and skills.
Infrastructure: The college is big and has a greenish environment. 24/7 Wi-Fi facilities are available for students. Labs and classrooms are well maintained and well-equipped. The college has a big library that is fully air-conditioned so that students can study peacefully. The college conducts many events, like technical events and fresher parties, every year so that students can enjoy themselves while studying. Infrastructure is not good. If you have knowledge and skill set, you can definitely get placed.
Placements: Placements depend on your skills. Around 60% of students got placed with an average salary package of 4 LPA, and the highest salary package offered is 12 LPA. Many companies visit our college such as TCS, Wipro, and Infotech Ltd. Some students choose self-business.
Infrastructure: Hostel mess and canteen are average. Classrooms are well-maintained. Wi-Fi is available throughout campus. Some sports are available such as cricket, volleyball, football, badminton, and more. In the first year of college, many events are conducted for freshers. Although for games and entertainment, college is perfect.
Faculty: Teachers are helpful, qualified, and knowledgeable. To pass in semester exam totally depends on study, attendance, and internal marks. The college is autonomous with an NAAC A grade Certificate and AICTE-approved and AKTU affiliated. Pass percentage is 99%.
Other: All events are conducted on campus. Hackathon is conducted in our college. The chances of getting scholarships are 90%. After providing scholarships, they return tuition fees.
