Review of Kasturba Medical College, Manipal.

Placements: Batch strength: 250 I have not passed out yet but according to my knowledge and some seniors, most of the students don't go for placement; they either do NEET PG or foreign entrance examinations like USMLE and PLAB. Few who wants to work in hospital get recruited easily. The package range is 1-2 lacs monthly.

MBBS is difficult, but worth is in the END.

Placements: It's a MBBS course, so no such placement is there after an internship in which you get a stipend of 30,000, you give the NEET PG exam, and then if you are successful, you go for higher studies. People here give the USMLE exam as well as the PLAB and other licensing exams, though teaching is very good here.

Kasturba medical College : comprehensive review.

Placements: So in medical, there is no system of placements as such, but everyone is required to do a one-year internship in Kasturba Hospital itself. The stipend given is 30,000, and anyone who has passed the final year will be eligible for the internship. It is done in all departments of the hospital over the course of one year. The college gives you an extended period of another year to complete 365 days.

I did my MBBS from Kasturba College.

Placements: Our college is one of the best private colleges for MBBS. Almost 100% of the students get placements at our college. The average package offered in our college was between 8-13 LPA. The top recruiters in the college were various big private hospitals. 100% of the students get internships at our college.

Kasturba medical college - A college of excellence.

Placements: As MBBS degree concerned placements don't happen but the students are performing well. We do not have any packages system. Students are doing great in the entrance exams and get excellent exposure as part of the 1 year internship which occurs in the kasturba hospital.

It is the best private college.

Placements: The college takes in 250 students every year, out of which the cutoff is usually around 555 for NEET. You can get jobs in top government hospitals after passing out and pursue medicine in other countries. There are centers for tuition for the USMLE and PLAB.

It is one of the best private universities for medical aspirants.

Placements: There are about 200-250 students in each batch. MBBS is a rigorous course everywhere. Students' life is good here. About 200-250 students get selected every year from different states and even abroad.

The college has a very good infrastructure and the teachers are really supportive.

Placements: Internship here is good. You get a good stipend though? MBBS is not about package. In stipend as of now I know 30000 is the current stiepnd. But this college has link with many clgs also manipal is a brand I must say. Soo if you have good concept then PG and MLE would not be that tough for you. KMC gives opportunity of research as well.

I have an amazing experience. It is one of the best deemed medical colleges.

Placements: It is a medical college. Many of our students from this college go to very good PG colleges like AIIMS and other reputed colleges because the academics in this college are amazing. Students also learn a lot.

Faculty members are good, and our college deserves to be among the top colleges.

Placements: The college provides us with all the facilities to achieve placement. Students usually get selected in top medical colleges and get the branch which they want.

The best college money can get you in India.

Placements: Many students from KMC get selected each year in various competitive exams like NEET PG MLE, AIIMS PG etc. Internship is provided by the college at their own Kasturba Hospital which has good patient load and has many different specialities. Students can also take up the PG courses available at KMC after completing their UG according to their NEET rank. College has many specialities and trained staff for PG courses too. Simulation laboratories are well-equipped with all the latest equipment.

I am satisfied because of the way of teaching the curriculum.

Placements: There are no placements in our college. After getting a PhD, students can get a job in medical college as an assistant professor. The salary offered is around Rs. 50,000 per month. During the course, they trained us for teaching professions further. Students have to get jobs on their own as there are no placements in our college.

It is one of the best medical colleges in India, and I am absolutely satisfied with this college.

Placements: KMC is known worldwide in producing fine doctors with good clinical knowledge. With the help of the finest teaching faculty, highly equipped labs and hospitals, students learn a lot here. KMC students have a lot of scopes. Many students go to USA and England through USMLE and PLAB respectively, while the rest of them get admissions in India through NEET. Post-graduation becomes quite easy for KMC students due to the knowledge and clinical exposure provided during MBBS.

I learnt how to deal with all the obstacles in life at KMC.

Placements: One student got placed in Indigene, and the salary package offered was 4 LPA. The placement which took place was based on medical writing. Our seniors got placed in Quintiles Research. The placements could have been better with more opportunities and options.

Good college to live a life full of learning and academics.

Placements: Hi Guys. I completed my course from this college 3 years before and it was a good experience for me. Currently I'm doing M. S. from a gov't college in Delhi. So for my money this is the best medical college in south india and best in infrastructure also. Placements were good in my batch, about 60% got their placements done and other went for doing coaching for PG preparation. Average salary offered is 25k for interns and 50k for 1st year resident and upto 1 Lacs for SR.

Lucky to be here. A mix of rural and urban atmosphere. Both necessary for proper learning.

Placements: If you have done MBBS from any one of the top 10 colleges, you don't need to worry about placements, but most of us won't work right after MBBS. We would prepare for PG, and most people from here get into one or other PG course somehow. They are good enough to do so.

Manipal - The hub of education.

Placements: KMC Manipal has one of the highest USMLE clearing rates in the entire country. This shows that the quality of education being provided is at par with international universities. In Indian postgraduate exams too, students from Manipal have consistently demonstrated good performance despite having a very hectic internship.
