Life of a Commerce student at Kelkar College.
Placements: Placements were one area that didn’t get explored much for our batch, as during pass-outs, COVID had appeared. But a few of my friends who still applied for placements got jobs in TCS and CA firms. The highest known offer I knew was about 3.2 LPA. The top roles offered were accountant positions in one of the companies.
Infrastructure: The college infrastructure was fairly nice, with buildings making a square and a ground in the middle. The classrooms had ample space and were fairly furnished. I don’t have much idea about the hostels, but regarding the canteen, it was huge with a lot of variety in their food. Medical facilities were average. Sports and games were played in the areas they had given. Generally, we had a gaming room for games like chess, table tennis, etc., and a badminton ground as well.
Faculty: Teachers were knowledgeable, to say the least. Their teaching quality was mostly average except for a few who were really good. The course curriculum is fairly relevant to industry standards of what is required, i.e., the bare minimum. I do hope that it involves current updates about the industry as well. The semester exams are moderate, and the syllabus was above average. So the pass percent was always around 50%.
Other: I chose B.Com as I didn’t want to go in the field of science and wanted to do CA. The best thing about the course is you are aware of your daily transactions and their impact. You understand how the business works in today’s world. I hope our course also involves IT and properly integrates it with other subjects. In my college, there’s an annual event called Dimensions where the students themselves register the event, invite the guests, handle the crowd on their own, and have a blast of creativity. There are scholarships and freeships available as well. I really loved the freedom the college gave to its students.

Kelkar is the best college. You won't regret taking admission here.
Placements: At least 80% of the students got placed in my course; the highest package was 3 LPA for freshers. The top recruiting companies were Deloitte, Kotak, etc. Many students got internships and some got full-time jobs. Many students went to foreign countries for their further studies .
Infrastructure: The classrooms were very bright; it had enough breathable windows the view from every classroom was very beautiful. Every classroom had white & green board, projector, good natural lighting, plus tube lights, fans, etc. The campus has badminton court, basketball court, football field, etc.
Faculty: The faculty is the best in Kelkar, not only the teaching staff but also the non-teaching staff. They helped us throughout our college journey; they made sure that every student grasped the topic that had been taught; they were very down to earth; they made sure that the exams & everything else should be taught with the competitive exams.

College has good facilities.
Placements: In our batch, approximately 40% of the students were placed. The highest package offered in our batch for this course was 9 LPA. The average offered package was 3-6 LPA. Top recruiting companies in our course were Suma, Tata, Bajaj, etc. Various internship opportunities were given to the students.
Infrastructure: Infrastructure for the B.Com course was good at this college. Facilities including Wi-Fi, labs, library, sports, etc., were given to the students. Various extracurricular activities like NCC, NSS, and sports activities were conducted at our college. Hostel facility was also available there in the college.
Faculty: Faculty of the college were qualified, knowledgeable, and experienced in their field of study. Teachers were helpful and supportive. Course curriculum was relevant at the college. Various placements and internships training were given to the students by the teachers at this college. Exams were of easy difficult level at this college.

Review of Kelkar Education Trust's V.G.Vaze College of Arts, Science and Commerce.
Placements: Colgate and Deloitte come to the college. They offer good things, like more than 30 people almost getting jobs and I am happy with that. General accounting and accounts payable, like roles, are also offered, as is indirect tax. So it's very nice.
Infrastructure: There are no hostel facilities as it's in Mulund, and it's very good that college students can live in PG but there is no hostel by Kelkar in Mumbai. Students travel from Badlapur to Mulund and from Dombivali to Mulund, so there is no option of a hostel, and other than that, all things are very nice.
Faculty: All things are good. As many know, Dimensions in Kelkar is a very famous and very fun event. It's two days of very fun activities that anyone can attend but with the ID of the respective college and it's very much loved by people.
Other: No.

A college for socializing.
Placements: There were, on average, 120 students in each class in 5 divisions. The average package for freshers is around 7 to 8 LPA. Top companies like J.P. Morgan, Colgate, AMUL, etc., are the top recruiters. Around 30 to 40% of students get internships. Assistant Manager, Finance, and Credit Manager are some of the top roles in my course. So, it's quite good.
Infrastructure: So, the infrastructure of the college is quite good, and the library is well-furnished with a variety of books. The classrooms are also well-lit, with properly furnished benches. The canteen facility is average, while the gymkhana and auditoriums are very attractive.
Faculty: The teaching quality is very good, and teachers are well-qualified. Some of our teachers have also done courses at the international level, which helps us gain more experience from them. Semester exams are moderately difficult; most of the students pass, and the percentage is around 90%. Yes, the course curriculum is relevant.
Other: The Bachelor of Commerce course was recommended to me by my sister. The best thing is I can relate most of the things taught in this course to my day-to-day life. Personally, I don't think anything can be improved, but yes, the syllabus can be updated by including some current data.
