Placements: Placement percentage of all departments: Civil Engineering - 10-20%, Mechanical Engineering - 100%, Electrical Engineering - 90-100%, Electronics and Telecommunication - 60-75%, Computer Science and Technology - 0-10%. Civil Engineering highest package - 35k/month, lowest package - 15k/month, average package - 20k/month. Recruiting companies of the Civil Department include L&T, Ultratech, etc. Percentage of students who got internships - 20%. Top roles offered - strictness about attendance.

Placements: Placements at this college are better. Our placement officers are now trying their best to place students, even through off-campus drives. The lowest salary offered is Rs. 10,000 per month, the average is Rs. 15,000 per month, and the highest is Rs. 20,000 per month.

But this year, because of COVID-19 pandemic situation, only one placement was provided by a company named Hyundai. It offered a salary package of 2.5 LPA. Placements: As we know it's a government undertaking engineering institute so they provide some placements after pass out all the exams. But the placements are very few in number. We don't get much chance to find a suitable job as we wanted. And the salary of that job is also very low and it's hard to survive in today's world. And one more thing, they provide placements very far from our residential address.

Placements: K. G Engineering Institute is one of the best college in West Bengal. It was established in 1972. At the institute about 65 parcent students are placed in the branch of CIVIL. It is connected many higher company like BIRLA, MAHINDRA, L&T, POLYMER and many other company over the INDIA. These companies are offered upto 12 LPA and some placement too. The average package 7 LPA while the lowest is given by the mass recrecruiters 2-4 LPA. Construction and Management based job offered mainly.
