KIIT School of Management Reviews on Placements, Faculty & Facilities ,Bhubaneswar

Placements: There are no placements in our college. None of the companies visited our campus for placements and also for internships. There are many societies offering practices in finance, marketing management and human resource management.

Placements: Great for exposure and campus life but no placements are provided for the BBA students. Please do not believe what they show in their website. No companies come for BBA for placements, neither any internships are provided you need to find it by yourself.

The infrastructure is okay. World-class would be an over statement. Hostel rooms are good, not very well planned because the rooms, especially the top floor ones are hot and the city's heat makes it unhabitable during day time. However, that will change because the college is converting its rooms into AC rooms. The maintenance is okay and the food is better than other hostels but unlike home. Honestly, the only good thing about this college is its program of dual degree in MBA. Website of the college shows false packages offered to the students. This year the scenario of placement in KSOM is horrible, around 40 students are yet to be placed. There is no scope of higher packages for students even with good work experience. Infrastructure of KSOM is really superb. KSOM have a good library, playground, TV, Canteen and the rock garden, which is known for couples in entire KIIT University. Some faculty is very good, as they are form IIMs, XLRI etc. And have good corporate experience. Student mentor programme is good but it lacks industrial tour. Placements: I am from BBA, 2015-2018 batch. Almost all the students got an internship from my batch in well-reputed companies. As far as I know, there were no placements for BBA after done with the course and no one got placed.

Placements: About 10% of students got placed in BBA. The highest and lowest salary package was not offered in our course. Recruiting companies visit our campus only for MBA and not for BBA students. But students had an opportunity to get an internship in summer.
