The best college in Kolhapur region, but the courses should be updated.

Placements: This year, the NBA committee has given the highest marks for biotech in terms of placements. This year (2018-19 batch), 3 students got placed through campus interviews. Only on-campus interviews are conducted in the college. Most of the interviews are conducted at the company itself. Almost all the students opted for higher studies or placements. Due to less competition, the placements are good, but the starting packages are around 1.5-4 LPA only.

It is good for people who live in Kolhapur and cities around Kolhapur who don't wish to go far.

Placements: The CSE and IT branches have most of the campus drives with the salary packages being above average. Mechanical engineering students mostly get jobs in Kolhapur itself as it has a lot of foundries and companies, but then, you need to settle with a less salary package. KIT is always there for electronics and ENTC branches.

The college provides limited opportunities, but there are good infrastructural facilities.

Placements: The college has its own placement cell and E- Cell, and it offers various career management programmes. The companies from the IT and CSE industry visit the campus frequently for placements. Companies like Bosch, Capgemini, Tata Technologies, and many MSME visited the campus for placements. The placement cell was not that efficient considering the number of companies visited for placements.

The best college which offer awesome campus life and placements.

Placements: Placements of KIT are excellent nowadays. Many of the CS students were offered a salary package of approximately 8-9 LPA. As far as the placement rate of the individual departments is concerned, the second best placement rate is for the mechanical branch students. The average salary package offered is 4 LPA. So I suggest you don't worry about placements. This is the best college, and they will train you very well.

The college has good study environment and helpful faculty members.

Placements: A lot of placement drives are conducted for computer science and IT students. Many companies conduct drives for mechanical and electronics engineering branches also, but their selection rate is low. Hardly any drive is conducted for civil and biotech engineering students.

The campus is near to the industrial area, so you can visit the industry any time.

Placements: Placements in our college are good. Now our college has become an autonomous institute, so there are chances that more companies will conduct campus drives and more students will get placed. Sometimes the college also provides an internship programme. The college also condcuts guest lectures.

KIT-COEK honest reviews by the student itself.

Placements: The placement for the CSE and IT department are more than any other branches of the college, and there are 20 placements from these departments. The other branch placements are average, only five students on an average got placed. The training and placements departments are carrying various activities for the placements. Now KIT has become an autonomous institute, so the number of placements increased. Our college does not provide any internship to the students, and they only tell about the inte...

The best infrastructure with very helpful faculty.

Placements: Placements are good. Many companies such as CPC diagnostics Chennai, Amazon Pune, etc. come for placement. Besides, proper guidance is given if we have to go for the interview outside. Almost 80% students got placed in our batch in different posts such as intern, R and D, marketing, etc.

It will have a great life in the college with nice faculty and crowd.

Placements: The campus placements are good for CS, IT, mechanical students, electronics and ENTC students but not for civil students and even Biotech placements are also there. For civil people, you have to look for off-campus because hardly any company comes for civil but if you are too good with academic, then you will get placed.

KIT college of engineering is the best in Kolhapur district. I am so graceful to join.

Placements: Good placement was offered to my senior students. You get the placement better. I am from Kolhapur that's why I chose this college for the education. The environment department got the placement with a package of 6.5 lakh per annum for last year. Our college took the session and the training which was very good. I consider myself amazing to become a part of this college, KITCOEK, Kolhapur.

The best college for biotechnology in western Maharashtra region.

Placements: Seniors and juniors were placed in good companies, in our batch 2-3 were placed. The companies like Lupin visited while most of the students opted for the off-campus. Many opted for off post-graduation and selected in the better universities. As a city away from the biotechnology hub, the placements were hampered still the quality of education helped in the off-campus selections.

The college has the best labs for biotechnology.

Placements: The placement of the college is about 20-30%. "The training and the placements in-charge Mr Karkare sir is very helpful. If you are not placed in the campus placement, they give a chance to attend the interview in other colleges. Also through any bad luck, if you are not placed that year, they will inform you about the company where you can go for the interview. They even give an update on various companies job openings.

Placements: The placements were really good for our batch and our seniors' batch. The average package revolves around 2.5 lakhs. Big companies like Lupin, D. D. Enterprises, etc. visit for placements. Since most people choose to go for higher education, very few people remain for placement. Thus, all of them get placed.
