KIT College of Engineering, Kolhapur Reviews on Placements, Faculty & Facilities ,

Placements: From our batch, about 20 to 25 students out of 70 got placed through campus placement. Other students got jobs by their own or off-campus placement. Some students apply for some add on courses. Some students decided to do GATE and MS preparation for higher studies.

Placements: Placement range except for mechanical, production and other departments have good placements. Maximum placements are always from the computer science background, IT, electronic and ENTC. Companies which visited here for placements are KPIT, TCS, Bently and SLK. All-time they recruited more than 40 students each year. For 3rd-year students, they conduct a mock interview and mock aptitude test as well.

Placements: There were nearly around 80 to 90 people from last year batch 2019 have been placed among which from my stream we 40 people are placed from electronics and Electronics and telecommunication background. The average package at our time was around 6 LPA.

Placements: The Training and placement department provides many placement opportunities. They also provide entrepreneurship opportunities and training. They organise various workshop and training programs. Many companies participate in placement activities.

Placements: Almost 50% of the students get placed in our institute. The salary package offered ranges between 1.8-5.5 LPA. Top-rated companies like TCS, KPIT, Wipro, etc., visit our college for placements. Internships are also provided to the students from their respective branch training and placement officer.

Placements: About 30% of the students from our course got placed. The highest salary package offered was 3.25 LPA in KPIT company. Companies through CoCubes exam conducted placements here. Roles offered here were trainees, and then other roles based on your performance. Almost every student got an internship in different companies for a period of 1 to 2 months.

Placements: It's hard to get on-campus placements for the civil department here. Even if you get also, it will be in a local company with the highest salary package of 2 LPA. However, apart from that, teachers help to get a job. Moreover, in the last year, about half of the students from the batch cleared their PwD exam and currently are in a good position.

Placements: Approximately 25 to 30% the students got placed when I pass out from the college. The highest salary offered at that time was Rs. 35,000 per month and the lowest salary offered was Rs. 15,000 per month. The top recruiting company was SGI. Roles offered were as surveyor and estimator. The highest salary package offered was 4 LPA, and the lowest salary package offered is of 2 LPA. The average salary package offered would be of 3 LPA. Placements: Students here are getting placed with a minimum salary package of 1.2 LPA. Conditions for the branches of civil, mechanical and almost all the branches are the worst. Students are just doing waste work without learning anything. Students are ready to do any job, such as customer executive, sales, etc. I would suggest to other students and their parents to ignore this college for the betterment of their future.

Placements: Our college offered a total of 116 placements offers. The highest salary package offered was 7 LPA, while the lowest salary package offered was 1.8 LPA. The average salary package offered was 3.50 LPA. Placements: Every year, nearly 35 students out of 45 get placed in renowned companies such as John Deere, Cummins, TCS, Manugraph, Menon Piston Rings, and Bosch. The highest package offered was 5.5 LPA, and it was offered by Bosch in 2018. The lowest salary package one can get is 1.5 LPA. The average salary package one can get is 3.5 LPA. Placements: Min. No of students get placed in my coarse. But teaching and other activities are excellent. One of the best college for civil engineering. The highest package up to 3L and the lowest package up to 2L .30% get placed from civil. Companies like neilsoft, BG shirke, Amazon, Tcs etc. hired the students.

Placements: Almost 50% of the students are placed. The highest salary package offered is 6 LPA. TCS, Jade Global, Wipro, Netcracker, Persistent, Capgemini, are the top recruiters. Roles of a software developer and trainee are offered. There are 5 marks allotted for every internship, which is added in the internal subject. The highest salary package offered in our course is 6 LPA. The average salary package offered in our course is 3 LPA.

Placements: Around 30% of students got placed in various companies out of eligible students. Students should maintain at least 60% in academics to attend for placements in companies. Good MNCs like TCS, TTL, Accenture and others like Kirloskar, Vaibhav Tech, Aquachill visit here to offer placements with the highest salary package of 4.5 LPA and the lowest salary package of 1.8 LPA.

Placements: About 60% of the students get selected in placements from our department. Many companies visit our college during my tenure for placements. Nearly 8 companies visited especially for ENTC department. About 32 students got selected in those companies. I got a chance in placements, but I refused it because I want to pursue post-graduation.

Placements: Some of the best students get placed through campus interviews with a package of about 9-10 LPA. Placements of KIT College are very good, and the salary package offered here are good and high. The placement cell of our college gives an idea about placements in the third year of our course itself so that everyone can give their best.

Placements: Placements for the electronics department are very good. Nearly 50% of the electronics department students get placed. More than 20 companies visit the campus for placements. Companies like KPIT, TCS, Globaledge, Sankalp Semiconductor, Zed Global, SLK, etc., visit the campus for placements. Even this year, Microchip also provided placement opportunities. The average salary package offered was 3 LPA.

Placements: This year, the NBA committee has given the highest marks for biotech in terms of placements. This year (2018-19 batch), 3 students got placed through campus interviews. Only on-campus interviews are conducted in the college. Most of the interviews are conducted at the company itself. Almost all the students opted for higher studies or placements. Due to less competition, the placements are good, but the starting packages are around 1.5-4 LPA only.

Placements: The CSE and IT branches have most of the campus drives with the salary packages being above average. Mechanical engineering students mostly get jobs in Kolhapur itself as it has a lot of foundries and companies, but then, you need to settle with a less salary package. KIT is always there for electronics and ENTC branches.

Placements: The college has its own placement cell and E- Cell, and it offers various career management programmes. The companies from the IT and CSE industry visit the campus frequently for placements. Companies like Bosch, Capgemini, Tata Technologies, and many MSME visited the campus for placements. The placement cell was not that efficient considering the number of companies visited for placements.
