I had joined the GIT college through lateral entry after my Diploma. The infrastructure of the college is awesome and all the labs are well equipped. Most of the lecturers are highly experienced and very friendly. Apart from studies GIT offers you lot more in curricular activities. The Institute is well known for their placement records in Karnataka. Highly qualified faculty and staff which are any time approachable. Great exposure for students in various curricular as well as co-curricular activities. Campus has all facilities required for students. IBM and Google research labs in campus. Additionally college hosts one of the best Cultural Fest's in North Karnataka - "AURA"
Placements: Around 70% of students got placed in our course. The highest salary package offered was 6 LPA, the lowest salary package was 2.5 LPA, and the average salary package was 4.5 LPA. Top recruiting companies for our course were Ultra Tech, ACC, and UK cement. Around 68% of students got internships in our course at Ultra Tech. Top roles offered was site engineer.
Placements: Almost 85% of students got placed in this course. The highest salary package offered was 18 LPA by Aditya Birla. The lowest salary package offered was 4 LPA by ABB Ltd. The average salary package offered ranges from 6 LPA - 7 LPA. The top recruiting companies were Aditya Birla Ltd, ABB Ltd, Bharat Electronics Ltd, General Electric, etc. Around 90% of students got internships in companies like ABB Ltd and Jabil Ltd. Placements: 70% of placements are provided. 8 LPA is the highest package offered here. Tata, Infosys, Tech Mahindra, Wipro, etc., companies hire students from here. The roles offered are developer, testing engineer, business associate etc. Lecturers have been helpful to students in making a good career. I am proud of being a part of GIT.
Placements: Placements are too good for this college. My seniors have got the highest salary package of around 25 LPA, the average salary package around 9 LPA and least was around 3 LPA. The college has moved to become autonomous. The placements have increased as students are trained according to the companies' requirements.
