This is not an engineering college.

Placements: There are no placements from this college. This college says that there are 100% placements from my college, but here in this college, only teachers get placed. There is 0% placement. 30% study environment is present due to some good faculty members. Management of this college is too bad. Labs are too outdated.

A good college with a very excellent campus.

Placements: There are placements at L&T through college campus for the B.Tech in mechanical engineering. It is the best college in Odisha. Various types of companies every year come in the campus, and campus placement is conducted very well. This college is affiliated to BPUT- Rourkela and is also AICTE approved, New Delhi.

This college didn't give me what I need.

Placements: Placement isn't good here. There is also fake placement going on. Placement is only for software job and marketing, not for any electrical or mechanical engineer. Some of my friends returned from the workplace due to the bad placement. Placement department is not improvised.

I had the most beautiful time in my college experience.

Placements: Lots of companies visited our college for campus placements purposes. The talented student got selected. The placement was good. Before the company visits, we get pre-placement classes by which we can improve our skills and knowledge about jobs and interviews. Pre-placement also helps to make you act like a professional person.

According to the fee, the college is decent in Bhubaneswar.

Placements: The college brings a total of 10-15 companies for the placements out of which 2-3 companies are for the mechanical students, and are less for the others. All the campanies give the average package of 2-4 lakhs per annum. The highest package is 6 lakhs per annum that comes from LG. Verify all the companies before attending so that the students can place not only on the on-campus but also off-campus.

My college life in 250 words.

Placements: The placements offered in my batch in the mechanical section and my senior batch was poor. In my senior batch only 10% of the students were placed, and in my batch the placement of 120 students only 5 students got placement. The salary offered is between 1.08 lacs per annum to 1.8 lacs per annum. The companies which visited the campus was never heared before. And the role which is offered in the campus drive is a call centre, Bpo, Kpo, Tech support, and sale representative type jobs were offered...

The college of dreams gave me everything from joy to sorrows and from knowledge to excitement.

Placements: The placement for our watch was good. Companies like LG, Wipro, L&T, etc. came to the campus that year. The average pay scale was about 2.5 LPA. The highest pay scale was about 7 LPA. 70% of the total number of students got placed. Our college provides placements mostly for IT sectors. But the core companies that came to the college took most of the students. Most of the students are well placed in reputed companies across the country earning ample amount of knowledge, skills and money. The plac...

KIST. A perfect place for studying BTech.

Placements: A good placement support was given to students and about 60% candidates were placed in this batch. Candidates were mostly placed in the IT sector and the telecom sector along with a few electrical and mechanical. More than 10 companies came for placements and out of those, a few came to be fake but those which were real had taken candidates for placements.

The college was very nice.

Placements: The placement of the college is average. The college has good placement for information technology, computer science and electronics branches. The companies which come for recruitment are well-reputed and software companies. They mostly come for the post of assistant engineer. We hope that placements will be improved in the future.

Terrible in placements, although, considerable in terms of infrastructure and knowledge to learn.

Placements: The college hardly has any placements. Our batch had 1 or 2 placements which were in a BPO and rest were fake. I myself was placed in a fake company through my college campus for which I waited for 6 long months and at last, it proved to be fake. I would suggest people do B.Tech here just for a certificate and never expect proper placements.

Little disappointed about the placement procedure. Apart from that, everything was really good.

Placements: The placement was good. More than 90% students got placed. The highest salary was 5 LPA, lowest was 2.4 LPA. LnT, Wipro and TCS visited our campus. The roles offered were for marketing, sales, executives etc. For internships, 60% of the students applied. Most of them opted for abroad studies.

Not a place to be. Poor in every thing or just about okay. Infrastructure is the only thing.

Placements: For CSE, ETC and ELE it's good, but for mechanical, it's average. Just 3-4 good companies visit us. 3 lakh is the maximum package this year (think and learn). In a certain way, it's a BPO type of company. Till now 35-45 percent have been placed in the final year. The training and placement department needs to work but overall it provides just decent placement opportunities to the students studying here.

The faculty and the infrastructure is good. Every need is seen and the help is received within minutes. The placement and the average package of the college is good and I hope more for this year. The good and green campus is what makes my college memorable. The rising name of the college is one the reasons why I would suggest my juniors to not abstain from coming here as my one year experience till now has been great and they would feel the same.

I have completed my B.Tech in 2015 from Konark Institute of Science and Technology and today I am very happy because I got placed in a MNC company through this college. KIST is reputed college for engineering and management courses in Bhubaneswar, India. The campus is located in green and peaceful environment where students can study without any external disturbances. It provides a platform where students can work on academic as well as extra co-curricular activities. KIST tries to bring out the...

Good college. Best college if you compare the price. If you see other colleges, it’s a good college. But if you are searching for quality education, it's not your place. Overall it's fine to join here. The function and annual fest are the best part here.

Faculty members are really hardworking and dedicate to knowledge sharing and proper education. They have various branches with good infrastructure and facilities. Co- curricular needs to improve and also placement department needs to focus more on student's development.

Excellent infrastructure is there & good placements are provided. The faculty is average. Main problem is of attendance. It’s like a school they don’t allow you to leave the college in middle. College hours are too long i.e. 8 hrs and college location is too remote from the city. Faculty is good and helpful. College management is average.

A college (Latin: collegium) is an educational institution or a constituent part of one. Usage of the word college varies in English-speaking nations. A college may be a degree-awarding tertiary educational institution, a part of a collegiate university, or an institution offering vocational education. In the United States and Italy, "college" formally refers to a constituent part of a university, but generally "college" and "university" are used interchangeably,[1] whereas in Oceania and South...

Good college. It has very good campus. Best branch to study is electrical engineering. There is a systematic procedure of studying. The faculty members are very friendly. And it has a library which has 2500 books. It has a workshop with all important machines. It has a campus of 30 acres. It has a canteen. It is near Techonpark in Bhubaneswar.
