Life at Kristu Jayanti College, Bengaluru.

Placements: I'm still in my first year, so I'm yet to know the placement scenario firsthand. But from what I've heard, it is really very convenient. The average package last year for my Bachelor's course was 6.5 LPA. The top recruiting companies included Amazon, Microsoft, Dell, Cognizant, etc. The roles offered in my course include data analyst, software engineer, etc.

Infrastructure: The overall infrastructure of the college is amazing. The campus is really clean and green. Labs are equipped with cutting-edge technology and Wi-Fi. Classrooms are ventilated and spacious. There's a state of the art library in each and every department of the college.

Faculty: The teachers are really helpful and friendly, and they are available to discuss any problems or doubts during the college. The course is totally worth it, the faculty is really knowledgeable, and they know what they're teaching. It directly prepares you for what questions they might ask in the interview, so know that garbage bookish learning is there. Semester exams are easy only any average student with little effort can pass the exams easily.

Other: I got to know about this course through Google. I researched for rankings, and this was ranked 4th for my course by the Times of India. The best thing is the confidence you get from the rules and regulations you have to follow every day. Sometimes it gets on your nerves, but it's for our good only. The faculty, though I believe, could be a little more lenient about attendance. The events and fests bring out the best of this college. It's like a whole festival. The surroundings have a nice cafe, restaurants, and game zones to spend time with your friends.

The college is very good and students can visit there once.

Placements: Almost 60% of students get placements. Top companies like Giant Eagle and Deloitte visit our college for placements. The highest package is 12 LPA and the lowest package is 4.5 LPA. The top roles offered in my field are software developer, analyst, and web developer.

Infrastructure: Facilities are very good. Wi-Fi is available on every floor of the hostel. We have a drinking water facility on every floor. Hostels are cleaned every day. Mess food is also good and it is made in a clean kitchen. Medical facilities are available. Security is also there.

Faculty: Teachers are very helpful. They are friendly to every student and help students to grow more. Exams are not so hard if we study well. The pass percentage is 40%. Teachers teach in a way that students get everything easily and they also provide study materials to them.

Placements: Since I'm a first-year student, I don't have any knowledge about the placement of our college. But, as my seniors and alumni told me, this college offers best placement related to their courses which is evident as it is one of the top-ranked colleges in India.

Infrastructure: Infrastructure of our college is extremely amazing. Here, there are 3 blocks namely admin, science, and humanities block. They have rich libraries and computer labs with good Wi-Fi, and classrooms having projectors. College is clean and has greenery all over.

Faculty: Faculty members are highly qualified, educated, and experienced. Their teaching ways are amazing. Our college is surely amazing and it makes students industry-ready with the proper curriculum that is needed for the industry. Semester exams are pretty decent and are easy to pass if we follow the classes. Pass percentage for our course is 40%.

Kristu Jayanti College Review.

Placements: Almost everyone who applied for campus placement was placed. Internship is mandatory in the fifth semester, so everyone has to do it. Students did internships in startups, MNCs, or at the college internship cell, which is the software development center. Associate roles are offered to students mostly.

Infrastructure: The college provides student Wi-Fi, there are 7 computer labs, multiple classrooms, and 7 to 8 libraries. The hostel is nice, but it only provides South Indian male options. There are a lot of PGs nearby that provide both North and South Indian food options. There are multiple turfs, game zones, etc., nearby the college.

Faculty: The teachers are very nice and experienced. They are always ready to help the students. The semester exams are not very difficult; everything comes from the lecture content provided in the LMS. The teachers also provide previous year questions as well as PDF content, which is more than enough to pass the semester exam.

Other: I chose this course because, even though it was BCA, we were taught a lot of subjects like cyber security, IoT, automation testing, AI/ML, etc. There are multiple fests that happen on the campus throughout the year, including multiple sports events, music events, and extracurricular activities.

Placements: Around 30% of people were placed from the BCA department last year with a good package of 6.41 LPA, which is good. TCS is the most common company where people get placed. If you're asking my POV, internships and getting placed in this college is good compared to other colleges. This college provides you many extra courses during the studies, which is good to add to a CV.

Infrastructure: It's a Wi-Fi campus, but don't think too much about it. It won't work as we think; it's very slow Wi-Fi. But the labs are good, 5/10. The classrooms in the old block are not too good, but the new two blocks are so good. The library is also good, and that's the best place for alone people like me. The canteens are also decent, and there are many of them, so no need to worry about it. There is even a medical facility where they will check spots. You can also play on the turf after 4:30, after college, and the basketball court is pretty good for people who like to play.

Faculty: Teaching quality is good. I won't say it's top to the mark, but yes, some teachers are so good and very experienced. A few are a little bad at teaching, but in this case, again, most of the colleges face this issue. The course curriculum is relevant, nothing outside. Exams for the BCA department cost 2,800 per semester, and passing in exams is easy, I would say, because it's as per the NEP batch. You need to write a 45-mark paper at the end of the semester. The rest of the marks are added from lab records and other cultural activities. If you fail, you will have to pay money for writing it again, which is costly. Per subject, it is like 700.

Other: I chose this course because it was the only option after my 12th. I was not interested in engineering. The main fest in this college is Ethnic Day, which is good. I would rate it 6/10. Nothing big, just the DJ, dance, and some programs going on.

Placements: My seniors are all passed out last year, and 90% of them are placed by many companies. The placement of this campus is quite good. There are 100% of students placed in campus interviews. The highest package of the year is 8 lacs, and the lowest package of the year is 5 lacs.

Infrastructure: Kristu Jayanti College provides modern amenities with state-of-the-art infrastructure to its students. The Kristu Jayanti College facilities include a library, laboratories, seminar halls and auditoria, green campus, sports and games, cafeteria, KJC guest house, ATM, etc. Also, KJC has a total of 4 boys hostels and 6 girls hostels.

Faculty: The quality of the teaching is also very good, and the faculty are friendly and have vast knowledge about their specializations. The course curriculum is fairly relevant to today's needs, although extra help from external sources would make the student industry-ready.

Other: First, I like this college, and they offer many courses, and my course was there, and I liked taking that course.
