It's too strict a college. It's worse than school, like so strict that even small scenes will get yo
Placements: Around 30% of people were placed from the BCA department last year with a good package of 6.41 LPA, which is good. TCS is the most common company where people get placed. If you're asking my POV, internships and getting placed in this college is good compared to other colleges. This college provides you many extra courses during the studies, which is good to add to a CV.
Infrastructure: It's a Wi-Fi campus, but don't think too much about it. It won't work as we think; it's very slow Wi-Fi. But the labs are good, 5/10. The classrooms in the old block are not too good, but the new two blocks are so good. The library is also good, and that's the best place for alone people like me. The canteens are also decent, and there are many of them, so no need to worry about it. There is even a medical facility where they will check spots. You can also play on the turf after 4:30, after college, and the basketball court is pretty good for people who like to play.
Faculty: Teaching quality is good. I won't say it's top to the mark, but yes, some teachers are so good and very experienced. A few are a little bad at teaching, but in this case, again, most of the colleges face this issue. The course curriculum is relevant, nothing outside. Exams for the BCA department cost 2,800 per semester, and passing in exams is easy, I would say, because it's as per the NEP batch. You need to write a 45-mark paper at the end of the semester. The rest of the marks are added from lab records and other cultural activities. If you fail, you will have to pay money for writing it again, which is costly. Per subject, it is like 700.
Other: I chose this course because it was the only option after my 12th. I was not interested in engineering. The main fest in this college is Ethnic Day, which is good. I would rate it 6/10. Nothing big, just the DJ, dance, and some programs going on.

Once a JAYANTIAN is always a Jayantian.
Placements: 90 percent of students were placed. The highest offer was 5 lakhs, the average was 2 lakhs, and the lowest was 90 thousand. Companies like TCS, Dell, IBM, Google, Accenture, Samsung, and many top companies, etc., IT companies, Tata, and Nokia, and many new companies are coming up for placements.
Infrastructure: Our college has 4 blocks. Each block has libraries. The hostel quality, including food, is just amazing, and our campus is huge and Wi-Fi enabled. Students, teachers, everyone can access the Wi-Fi and many sports events keep happening.
Faculty: The teachers are truly helpful and dedicated to knowledge. The course is really relevant and makes the students completely ready for the industry. The pass percentage for exams is 40 percent. Exams are difficult too but easy only if you understand the concepts well.
Other: I have chosen BCA with data analytics. The best thing about the course is that each semester there is something new to learn. New professional courses and certificate courses are being added by the companies for the students. Coming to the events, Ethnic Day is one event celebrated enthusiastically, etc. And many sports, dance, cultural events, and fests keep happening.

Kristu Jayanti : A college with equally balanced pros and cons.
Placements: 45% of the students appearing for placement got placed. The highest package was around 5.5 LPA for BCA and the lowest package was 2.5 LPA for BCA. The average package was around 3.3 LPA. The top recruiting companies were TCS, Amazon, CodeNaste, etc. Students had to find internships on their own, though some students got involved in the project of NFC card identification from the college itself. The roles offered were mostly those of consulting analysts. No pure technical role was offered.
Infrastructure: Free Wi-Fi is provided by the college for students, though you can't surf Instagram or anything else apart from their learning management system and educational content. Labs are well maintained and systems are adequate in number. Classrooms have a projector each and a blackboard. The library is one of the best things about the college. They have a variety of books ranging from fiction to mythology to science. There are three libraries. The canteen in the admin block is also very good. One suggestion will be to not get into hostels but instead get into PGs or rent a flat with your friends. Food in Lifesta PG is good.
Faculty: The teachers are highly qualified. Each one them is either pursuing Ph.D. or has completed their Ph.D. But not all teachers are helpful or knowledgeable. Some are very professional in teaching, while others just read PowerPoints. The course curriculum is quite relevant. The subjects included cloud computing, open source, Android development, cybersecurity, etc. The semester exams are quite easy to pass. You need to score at least 33% to pass.
Other: There are a whole lot of fests in the college. Some of them includes synchronize (intra-college IT fest), Xactitude (inter-college IT fest), Kridotsava (inter-departmental sports fest), Nrityanjali (Dance), Model United Nation, Theatre Club, Debating Society, etc.

    Review of Kristu Jayanti College.
Placements: The highest package offered was around 3500000 and the lowest package is around 1500000. The top recruiting companies of my course are Microsoft, Apple, IBM, etc. About 80% of my seniors got recruited to different companies. As for the roles offered, it depends on ones skill and creativity to answer.
Infrastructure: Infrastructure for the course I took is labs and a library as well. As for Wi-Fi, yes, faculties will give it to the students. The quality of the facilities of the hostel is good. The quality of food available is also good in the mess. And for the college canteen, items are much cheaper than what we buy outside. There is a clinic at college. And as for sports and games, many sports and programs are conducted both for teachers and students.
Faculty: Yes, the teachers are all quite knowledgeable, with PhD degrees, and yes, they are qualified to teach as well. The quality of teaching of about 90% of teachers is very good, and students can catch up with them. While the remaining 10% of teachers teaching can't be understood, and we have to depend on LMS for that. LMS is where all the notes are posted.
Other: I chose this course because I was interested in it. One should take a course in which they are interested, or else they will find the certain subject to be hard. As for the campus crowds, it is too much, as the student count is very high. And for events and festivals, programs are conducted by both teachers and students, and it's very good.

Placements: 85% of the students are in good positions. The highest salary package is around 35 lakh per annum, the lowest is around 15 lakh per annum, and the average is around 20 to 25 lakh per annum. The top recruiting company is Google.
Infrastructure: This college has all the facilities and infrastructure that a student needs. The labs, classrooms, and library are all newly equipped. The food quality is good and the prices are reasonable. The college also has a variety of sports and games that are conducted department-wise and team-wise.
Faculty: The teachers are helpful and knowledgeable, and they make learning fun. They are strict when it comes to academics, but otherwise they are quite relaxed. Most of the teachers are young and recently graduated, so the atmosphere is very relaxed. The curriculum is relevant and prepares students for the future.
Other: There will be multiple celebrations so enjoy them but do study as well. Enjoy your 3 years with seniors.

    Review of Kristu Jayanti College.
Placements: No good placements with good package. If the companies come to the college also, they are not hiring many students. If they are hiring them also, they are not getting the package as they expected to get for their skills. Even they give timelines in their company after hiring.
Infrastructure: Ok, but food is not good because the majority of the students are from Kerala so only the people who are from Karnataka and Andhra won't get their proper food. Rooms are big and spacious with attached bathrooms, but some hostels are so far from the college.
Faculty: Teachers are not helpful in the time of exam; they won't help us write answers; it is good but they will help in filling out the answer sheet with our details. Exams are difficult unless you study. They even take fee for exams for the booklets.
Other: In our country, there are no festivals celebrated as it is Christian college; the people who are from other religions can't celebrate our festival. But they celebrate more Kerala festivals and Christian festivals.
