Q:   Is it worth pursuing B.Sc. at KS Saket Post Graduate College?

    A:
    {Source: B.Sc. students & alumni}

Based on the feedback from students and alumni, here's what we've gathered:

    Pros:
    * Helpful and qualified teachers: Students praised the professors' guidance and teaching methods, which prepare students for competitive fields.
    * Decent infrastructure: Although limited, the classrooms are clean and organized, and the library is well-stocked with modern books.
    * Good campus life: Events and festivals are regularly celebrated, and the atmosphere is disciplined and responsible.
    * Placement potential: Approximately 90% of students were placed, with the highest average package being INR60,000 and the lowest being INR22,000.

    Cons:
    * Limited facilities: No hostels, Wi-Fi, or laboratory facilities, which may hinder learning and research.
    * No job placement opportunities: Despite having a good placement record, there is no dedicated placement cell or corporate recruitment program.
    * Infrastructure limitations: While the classrooms are decent, the lack of modern amenities might impact student experience.

Overall, while KS Saket Post Graduate College has its strengths, particularly in terms of faculty and campus life, it falls short in providing adequate infrastructure and placement opportunities. Therefore, whether or not it's "worth" pursuing a B.Sc. degree at this institution depends on individual priorities and expectations.

If you're looking for a college with robust facilities and strong industry connections, you may want to consider alternative options. However, if you value small-class sizes, personalized attention, and a supportive environment, KS Saket Post Graduate College might still be a viable choice. Ultimately, weigh the pros and cons carefully before making an informed decision.

    On Curriculum

Q:   Question: How is the course curriculum for B.Sc. at KS Saket Post Graduate College?

    A:
    {Source: B.Sc. students & alumni}

    Course Curriculum Structure

    * The course is divided into semesters, which is typical for undergraduate programs.
    * There are yearly examinations for postgraduate courses, but it seems that this structure may vary depending on the course type (UG vs PG).
    * The exact structure of the course curriculum is not explicitly mentioned, but we can infer that it follows a traditional semester-based system.

    No Placement Cell

    * Unfortunately, there is no placement cell at KS Saket Post Graduate College, which means that students are responsible for securing internships or jobs independently.
    * Students often opt for higher studies or prepare for government jobs after completing their degree.

Note: Since there is limited information available regarding the course curriculum, this answer is based on general assumptions and does not provide detailed information on the specifics of the program.

Absolutely satisfied because of my college and got inspire scholarship also.
Placements: Approximately 90 percent of students were placed in my course. The highest average package was 60 thousand and the lowest package was 22 thousand. About 75 percent of students got internship because of this course. Many students got their internship in industries.
Infrastructure: The infrastructure of my college is very good and every department of subjects is well located. Each classroom and each lab is very neat and clean. The food of mess is also very tasty and contain many varieties. Medical facilities are also very good. Sports facilities are best in my college.
Faculty: Teaches and professor staff is very helpful to all students and each and every teacher is well qualified. It make the students ready for industrial level. Semester exams are very easy because of sincerity and humbleness of education staff. And exams got taken always time to time.
Other: I chose this course because I was already a science student. I think that all students should care for their responsibility. Every event and fest got celebrated very happily time to time in our college. Campus life is also very good in our college due to discipline.

The worst experience I've had in college was due to the lack of faculty placement.
Placements: In our college, admission is based on the percentages of 12th and 10th marksheets. Unfortunately, there are no job placement opportunities provided. It's disheartening for us that our college lacks placements, something I wasn't aware of when I enrolled.
Infrastructure: Honestly speaking, my college is below average; there are no hostels, no Wi-Fi for students, and the lab facilities are subpar. However, the classrooms are decent, and there is a library available.
Faculty: The teachers are helpful, qualified, and knowledgeable. Their behavior towards students is good. They guide us in every aspect, and the curriculum is satisfactory, preparing students for competitive fields.
Other: I chose this course because my aim is to become a botany professor. I plan to pursue my Masters and take the CSIR NET exam. As for improvement suggestions for my college, they need to work on their lab, Wi-Fi, and hostel facilities.

Our college has good faculty members, infrastructure, and all other requirements for students.
Infrastructure: We got facilities for academic classes and practical classes in different regions of our campus. There are separate classes and many professors in one department. Hostel is also good in our college and food timing is well maintained and they care well for students. Medical facility is the best and sports has its department.
Faculty: All the teachers are Ph.D. holders in their subjects. Every teacher is much helpful. There is no difficulty with semester exams in this college because of our teachers. The pass percentage is 95% in semester exams. This college makes students ready for every field in life.
Other: I opted for this course because of my interest in it. Because of our college, I could apply for inspire scholarship. It is a great opportunity for me because of our college. In our college, nearly about 70% of the students applied for this. I got a scholarship of 1.2 lacs. I will become a graduate because of our college.

It provides a good education at a low cost.
Placements: There are no placements for any courses. College students always prefer either higher studies or preparation for government jobs. In the college, there is no placement cell where companies can directly recruit students to offer jobs.
Infrastructure: The college provides a neat, clean and large library with all the modern books available. A large number of students can access the library easily. Labs are available for everyone with average experimental instruments. There is no Wi-Fi facility on the campus. Classrooms are clean and in good condition here. The college provides a hostel facility only for SC and ST students with good quality food. There are different types of sports and games in the college for all students.
Faculty: Teachers in our college are very helpful and highly qualified. They have years of experience, so it is easy for them to understand student problems. Their teaching quality is very impressive. Every year almost 97.89% of students pass with good marks in the examination. The college provides semesters for UG students only. There are yearly examinations for postgraduate courses.
Other: The college is government-funded, so the college provides better education at a low cost. Every student of the college gets a scholarship.

I am absolutely dissatisfied with the faculty. There is no study here, only politics.
Placements: A minimum of 5-10 out of more than 600 students got some jobs around. The lowest and the highest are around 10k/month. The top role offered by my course is that of a private teacher. Students from my course either started teaching private tuition or working as teachers in private colleges.
Infrastructure: We have one of the worst infrastructures. Buildings are so damaged it feels like they can fall at any time. There is no support for medical assistance or sports development. Only politics happens here, and there is no hearing for any student problems.
Faculty: Instead of taking the lectures, they just waste the time of the students. Students have to be on their own with no help or support from lectures. Semester examinations are highly unpredictable. Even students get to know about their exams just a week before.
Other: I chose this course because I'm interested in biology. Better classes, suitable libraries, and an experimental hall should be made for practicals. There will be no festivals, no connectivity, and no extracurricular activities.
