Q:   Is it worth pursuing B.Sc. at KS Saket Post Graduate College?

A:
{Source: B.Sc. students & alumni}

Based on the feedback from students and alumni, here's what we've gathered:

Pros:
* Helpful and qualified teachers: Students praised the professors' guidance and teaching methods, which prepare students for competitive fields.
* Decent infrastructure: Although limited, the classrooms are clean and organized, and the library is well-stocked with modern books.
* Good campus life: Events and festivals are regularly celebrated, and the atmosphere is disciplined and responsible.
* Placement potential: Approximately 90% of students were placed, with the highest average package being INR60,000 and the lowest being INR22,000.

Cons:
* Limited facilities: No hostels, Wi-Fi, or laboratory facilities, which may hinder learning and research.
* No job placement opportunities: Despite having a good placement record, there is no dedicated placement cell or corporate recruitment program.
* Infrastructure limitations: While the classrooms are decent, the lack of modern amenities might impact student experience.

Overall, while KS Saket Post Graduate College has its strengths, particularly in terms of faculty and campus life, it falls short in providing adequate infrastructure and placement opportunities. Therefore, whether or not it's "worth" pursuing a B.Sc. degree at this institution depends on individual priorities and expectations.

If you're looking for a college with robust facilities and strong industry connections, you may want to consider alternative options. However, if you value small-class sizes, personalized attention, and a supportive environment, KS Saket Post Graduate College might still be a viable choice. Ultimately, weigh the pros and cons carefully before making an informed decision.

Q:   Question: How is the course curriculum for B.Sc. at KS Saket Post Graduate College?

A:
{Source: B.Sc. students & alumni}

Course Curriculum Structure

* The course is divided into semesters, which is typical for undergraduate programs.
* There are yearly examinations for postgraduate courses, but it seems that this structure may vary depending on the course type (UG vs PG).
* The exact structure of the course curriculum is not explicitly mentioned, but we can infer that it follows a traditional semester-based system.

No Placement Cell

* Unfortunately, there is no placement cell at KS Saket Post Graduate College, which means that students are responsible for securing internships or jobs independently.
* Students often opt for higher studies or prepare for government jobs after completing their degree.

Our college has more than 5,000 students and good facilities.
Placements: Placements are very low in our college. They are not good. Around 10-20% of students got placed in our course. Only 1 or 2 companies visit our college and select boys. Wipro and Flipkart visit our college. Roles offered are web developer and maintenance.
Infrastructure: The infrastructure of our college campus is average, but some basic facilities are inadequate. The college ground and washrooms, particularly the girls' washrooms, are in poor condition. Hostels also provide low-quality rooms and areas, and the water supply is often unreliable. There are insufficient medical facilities and treatment options available in case of sudden accidents involving students. Other facilities for students such as Wi-Fi, parking, laboratories, and the library are not well-maintained or properly managed.
Faculty: Teachers at our college are very knowledgeable and skilled in their subjects. They often lack the practical knowledge to teach and improve students' social connections. Exams and course curriculum are similar to those at other colleges in the state and country, the scheduling of exams and certain student events does not allow for sufficient preparation time. As a result, the pass percentage is quite low. It is based on study quality.
Other: I chose this course because of my interest in computers and their subjects at a very early age. I was super excited to explore the web and technology universe. The best thing about our course is to know the principles of computers, coding, the internet, and the tech field. Our college should improve the lab. I want all-important practical subjects based on the lab. Our teachers should guide students more.

The facilities provided are good and infrastructure is improving.
Placements: College does not provide great placements. The university provides limited and low-paying placements. No matter how skilled we are, placements are given only to one or two favored students in my college.
Infrastructure: The college does not have good infrastructure, but the classrooms are good and the electricity is on 24/7. The college grounds are amazing because they are so big and open, which is very helpful for students who are preparing for government jobs that require running. The college also has a big library that is free to use. In my field, the BCA department has a lab with multiple computers that work, and one of my biggest and most amazing experiences was using a projector to present a PowerPoint presentation.
Faculty: The teachers are very helpful and like to teach. They also seem to be interested in their students and their progress. In addition, they provide study content online, which helps us study on our own. Finally, the teaching techniques they use are amazing.

My college facilities are good.
Placements: My college placement is average because all students do not attend daily classes and lectures and about 55 percent of students are placed in my course. The highest package is 8 LPA, the lowest package is 3.5 LPA and the average package is 6 LPA offered in my course.
Infrastructure: The facility is good but the infrastructure is not good because the building is not well painted and decorated but the Wi-Fi speed is good. Labs are available, digital libraries are available and there is a large campus. The quality of the food in the mess is good and healthy.
Faculty: The teachers are very helpful but averagely qualified and knowledgeable as well. This course is totally irrelevant for the curriculum and curricular activities as well. The difficulty level of the exams is very high. They provide us study material when the exam is near.

My college campus review.
Placements: We have 76 seats for the master's in Zoology course, which is full. Our college does not have any placement packages for us, so there are no offers or recruiting. The fee structure of our course is very low; that's why we don't have any placement packages.
Infrastructure: We have labs, a library, and smart classrooms with air conditioning, which is really impressive. Wi-Fi is available for the students. The quality of food in the canteen is average, to be honest, but not bad, and there are no medical facilities. We have different kinds of sports and games like running, badminton, etc.
Faculty: Teachers help and guide us in every situation, and they are well qualified with great experience and knowledge. The teaching experience is impressive. We are lucky that we have good teachers who are very serious about our future. It is very difficult to pass the exams; the average percentage for students is 60%.
Other: I chose this course because I want to pursue a Ph.D., and I'm going to give the CSIR NET exam in 2026. I wish some classes would run properly. Yes, we have scholarships for students, which are 100% provided by the state government.

My college placement rate is good.
Placements: My college's average placement rate is 50 percent. The highest package offered is 11 lacs per annum, the lowest package is 5 lacs per annum, and the average package stands at 7.5 lacs per annum. 95 percent of students secured internships at Amazon companies.
Infrastructure: My college facilities are good, but the infrastructure is poor. The Wi-Fi speed is good, labs are available, and not all classrooms are well-built or maintained. Libraries are accessible. The quality of hostel facilities is very poor, but the food is very good.
Faculty: The teaching quality is average. Some teachers possess good knowledge and qualifications. The course curriculum is not relevant, and students are not adequately prepared for the industry. There are six semesters in my course, and all semester exams are challenging, with a pass percentage of 40%.

The worst experience I've had in college was due to the lack of faculty placement.
Placements: In our college, admission is based on the percentages of 12th and 10th marksheets. Unfortunately, there are no job placement opportunities provided. It's disheartening for us that our college lacks placements, something I wasn't aware of when I enrolled.
Infrastructure: Honestly speaking, my college is below average; there are no hostels, no Wi-Fi for students, and the lab facilities are subpar. However, the classrooms are decent, and there is a library available.
Faculty: The teachers are helpful, qualified, and knowledgeable. Their behavior towards students is good. They guide us in every aspect, and the curriculum is satisfactory, preparing students for competitive fields.
Other: I chose this course because my aim is to become a botany professor. I plan to pursue my Masters and take the CSIR NET exam. As for improvement suggestions for my college, they need to work on their lab, Wi-Fi, and hostel facilities.
