Good faculty and infrastructure, and one of the best colleges in Kolkata.

Faculty: Teachers are very helpful. They always supported us whenever we needed them, both mentally and academically. Semester exams are really tough; you need to be focused from day one. Although a single paper can't decide the future, you have to study hard for average to good marks.

My good experience at my college

Faculty: Our professors are very helpful, qualified and also knowledgeable. Their teaching quality can pursue the student's knowledge. I don't think so that literature subject make a student industry ready. We are the new syllabus students that's why we have too tough syllabus in first and second semester. We have to study seven subjects. And each subject is not easy as seem. Pass percentage is thirty percent.

A very good choice for Geography.

Faculty: The teachers in my department are quite knowledgeable, and all of them are highly qualified. The teaching quality varies from professor to professor, but yes, it is good. The course is somewhat relevant. The semester exams are under Calcutta University and have nothing to do with this college, and yes, the pass percentage is pretty high with 1-2 suppliments in a class of 29.

Everything was good at the college except placements.

Faculty: Faculty members of our college were good enough. Teachers were giving their best for the students. Teachers were qualified and knowledgeable about our course. Also, the course curriculum of our college was relevant, and it was making students industry-ready. Exams were not very hard or very easy to pass.

Dissatisfied, please choose some better college.

Faculty: Professors are average; they will help but may insult. Attendance is compulsory. Semester exams are not easy to crack. There is a focus on studying; only 40% is the pass percentage. Students are not friendly, neither are the teachers. Simply focus on your goal to avoid friendships; that's the main thing.

Review of Lady Brabourne College.

Faculty: The teachers here are greatly qualified, and they show the utmost interest in our exam preparation. They are very helpful and overall a great source of knowledge. The semester exam level is above average. Almost 17 to 18 students per 21 students pass each semester.

Apart from the old infrastructure, the college is really good.

Faculty: In my course, the faculty is actually very good. Very helpful. However often they don't take their scheduled classes for which the syllabus remains complete. The curriculum is set by the University of Calcutta. But the faculty makes the syllabus easier.

Our college has good teachers, skill-enhancing opportunities, and a good campus.

Faculty: Our teachers are excellent and knowledgeable. They provide such handy notes and PowerPoints that you do not require tuition. While it might differ across departments, I can personally confirm the excellence of the microbiology department at LBC. Its alumni have secured placements in diverse areas such as John Hopkins University, IISC Bangalore, GIM Goa, etc. The college offers numerous chances to improve different skills, including computer certification programs, multimedia and animation throug...

Faculty: The teaching is great and very helpful. Teachers provide extra information about the subject and extra notes for exams. Extra classes are conducted to clear our doubts. Slides of various lessons are provided for better understanding. Our course is good.

Our college provides good infrastructure.

Faculty: Teachers are helpful, cooperative, well-qualified, and knowledgeable. We learn a lot from them. Our course curriculum is relevant. This college is affiliated with Calcutta University and question papers are also made by them. The exam papers are not difficult and students can get 30% easily.

One of the best colleges under CU.

Faculty: B.Sc. (Hons. ). In Statistics is a 3 years course. The department comprises 3 faculty members. All of them have deep-root knowledge on the subject. The course syllabus is thoroughly covered by the professors with utmost patience, time and effort. Semester exams are held at regular intervals.

Review of Lady Brabourne College.

Faculty: Teachers in our college are good, experienced and cooperative. They help in every academic matter. Besides being professional, they are quite friendly. Their teaching quality is good, as they do blackboard work and also provide reference books for studies. Semester exams are provided by Calcutta University, which is moderate. LBC has really good infrastructure and facilities, and one can have a disciplined college life.

Faculty: One of the perks of Lady Brabourne College is its excellent faculty. Especially in economics, the core faculty is awesome, and the professors are very friendly, and the students can reach out to them as they are always there to help. Moreover, for the economics department, I can vouch that the professors explain each topic to its depth, and half of the work is done if you attend the classes regularly and take down the notes attentively. Internal exams are held regularly by the college to assess ...

It is the best college with the best ambience and gives the highest priority to discipline.

Faculty: All the professors here are highly qualified and experienced. Many of them are authors of many research papers and books of undergraduate and post-graduate students. But even though teachers have good knowledge, it doesn't mean that they are good teachers. It is the same case with my department as well. However, the notes provided by the professors are really very useful and help to understand the essence of the topics on which notes are given. But all the professors don't provide notes. In poli...
