Placements: There is no placement available in our college. Although there is a placement cell and career counseling cell, it can mostly refer you to any higher education study college, but no placement is available for any course, especially not mine. There are seminars and lectures held, where you might be able to make connections if you're too active.
Placements: There are only 21 students in our batch. There is no highest or lowest package, fees faculty of course is normal. Still I don't have any idea about recruiting company. We all students got offered for internship program from Cry and Webel. There are internship programs which gives us certificate and experience.
Placements: We don't get placements from B.Sc. Honours course. As this is a purely Physics-based course. You can get placements if you get a technical degree from other colleges. You can study Masters from here or other colleges. There are so many options available. But only B.Sc. Honours will not get you placed.
Placements: There were not good placements for our course in this college. Only around 10% of students get placements at our college. Some regional companies visit our college for the placements. Around 40% of students get internships in some Pharma companies at our college.
Placements: The percentage of students placed in my course is close to 2–3%. The average package offered is maybe more than 30,000. My course provides many internships. The roles offered in our course are those of teachers, professors, sociologists, criminologists and many others.
Placements: Internships are not provided. They provide information about where we can apply and which companies can hire us. You can apply for content writing and other private firms like Techno and Infosys. Career counsellors from various fields come to provide information about the career one can choose.
Placements: About 30 students are there in our class. The highest salary package offered is 2 LPA by Infosys. The one recruiting company that visits our college for placements is Infosys. Few students applied for the course, but I did not get any notice of the publication of the results. Students also write competitive exams like WBCS Rail and bank. Roles like SSC CGL officer ranking posts and a professor are offered to the students.
Placements: There are no placements here. However, students get a very nice score in their subject and usually qualify in CET (common admission test) and get admission in good institutes for higher studies like IIT KGP, FRI, Banaras Hindu University (BHU), etc. Companies don't visit here for placements, etc.
Placements: The placement cell in Lady Brabourne College in the Mathematics department is average. Companies like TCS and Cognizant do visit, but only a small portion of students get placed. Most of the students do not sit for placements, as they go for higher studies. From each batch, maximum 12-13 students sit for placements, and only 4-5 students (maximum) get placed. Mostly they hire for the role of a graphic designer (PT level) ( specialisation required in visual communication and electronic media). Th...
Placements: None of the students got placed from our course as students are pursuing statistics (Hons) and generally prefer for higher studies. In our final year, I remember a pool campus drive which included all the departments in our college. Probably, English (Hons) students were selected as the job profile had something to do with content writing.
Placements: There are no arrangements for campusing made as such as it is an honours course. But the students are offered good opportunities with substantial knowledge and the basics cleared which helps to pursue higher studies or implement it in the professional world.
Placements: The college doesn't have a placement cell. They mostly promoted higher education. No placement was offered to the students of any course. The internships were encouraged. Students' interaction was also supported. We were taken for industrial visits to get exposure.
Placements: The college doesn't provide placements for the students of any course. The college provides opportunities to the students for internships in any preferred companies. Research is mainly promoted in our department as the faculty members believe that the students can gain in-depth knowledge only through higher education. Research ideas of the stduents were encouraged in our department.
Placements: Very few companies come for placements with BPO type job profile. Most of the students opt for higher education or government jobs. Placement cell does exist but fails to function. Overall, the placement scenario is really bad. Just TCS came in 2016, and none of the companies came in 2017. Although our batch tried starting with the internship culture, and it didn't turn out that well because most of the students were mostly interested in higher studies and not just undergrad. Usually, you get de...
Placements: The placement cell is not much active because students are not interested in getting a job right after graduation. They have limited contacts as only TCS, Infosys and Wipro visit the college, that too without any prior information. So, hardly any student gets to know about it.
Placements: Most of the students of our batch opted for Masters. Companies like TCS and other MNCs visited the college for campus recruitment for the posts of Associates and Executives. We also did research work with Saha and Bose Institute, IISER Kolkata and Indian Association for the Cultivation of Science and Research.
Placements: Not relevant for recruitment since its a general college. Students have been placed in BPOs and other sectors. But most pursue higher studies. Recruitments are done by Infosys and Tata in third year. Interested students can participate. Some career fairs are also organised.
