A good place to choose to pursue a graduation degree alongside a job!

Placements: We were the last batch of the COVID pandemic. I have mostly given exams online in the first half, though in the second half, after the pandemic, the classes were held offline. There were around 40 students in my batch. The internship opportunities are very scanty—hardly any, to be precise. This is a morning course, so it is suitable for candidates who plan to pursue a job alongside their studies.

Dissatisfied because of no placements.

Placements: Only 10-20% well educated brilliant students are recruit from this college. The highest average package is 2-3 lac/annum and the lowest package 1-2 lac/annum. Top recruiting companies are Wipro, Tata. Some students do online internship in pvt IT companies due to covid. B.Sc. Geography hons. Is the good course in Jogamaya Devi College but it has several courses option.

Average Experience with Potential for Improvement

Placements: Placements are fairly low, with close to 40% of students placed. The highest package offered was 5 LPA, the lowest was 2 LPA, and the average was 3 LPA. Top recruiters included Biocon and Dabur. There were limited internships available. Common roles offered were research assistant and lab technician.

The college faculty members are well qualified in their subjects.

Placements: More than 60% of the well educated and good speaking skills students are recruited from this college. The highest average package is INR 4 lacs/annum and the lowest is INR 1.5-2 lacs/annum. The top recruiting company is Tata and Wipro. Due to covid 19 mostly students did not go outside but many students did online internship in many companies like private banks. B.Com is the good course in Jogamaya devi college. This college is well known for commerce but it has many other courses as well.

Placements: There were no placements in this college. After completing graduation, we got work according to our course. The pass mark was 60%. The average salary offered ranges between Rs.10,000 per month to Rs.12,000 per month. We got our jobs in this course.

No placements. I am dissatisfied.

Placements: 90% of students placed in our course but we don't get any placements from companies. Only a few students got internships in MBA after B.Com in Chandigarh. Little disappointed because there is no placement and students have to find jobs and internships by themselves.

Not that good in facilities.

Placements: Around 70% of student mostly do B.Com. The highest package of this course is 50000 and the lowest is 15000. After this course you can do M.Com CA CS SSC and many more to get good placement and 50000 + salary. 50% students get internship from this course in some accounting and finance company but you have to do hard & smart work t focus.

My overall experience here has been amazing.

Placements: I am a 2nd-year student, and I heard from my seniors that the placements here are pretty good. Students who are goal-oriented can easily get a higher package than the average package of about 7 LPA. About 80% of students get placed in relatively good companies.

It is an Average college .

Placements: Our college did not provide placement. No one was placed and no one got internships. We had no knowledge about internships and no one knew about placement. No package and no companies came to hire us. No one gave us offers for placement.

Our college provided me a base for what I am doing now.

Placements: Placements were not provided to our batch, even if they offered placements they wouldn't be very good. After doing B.Sc. in psychology I wasn't expecting much either. But I think they could have done better by introducing us to internships, choosing assistants, etc.

It has really good infrastructures and the staff is very much supportive.

Placements: Our college doesn't provide any kind of placements. It is a government college and only provides graduate degree. It doesn't offer any packages in our course. No company come for recruitment. No one got an internship from our course. No roles offered.

Satisfied because of faculty.

Placements: Placements are below average. Placements Field is missing in this college for my batch. We students have to find our own job outside in order to get placed for internship. Accounting, back office work tax management are the roles offered in this course.

I am very proud of my college. My college gave me many opportunities.

Placements: There is no placement facilities in B.Sc. psychology stream. But the college has very good faculty members. The behaviour of the office staff is very rough. But the faculty members are the main reason of students attraction towards this college. Thought there is no facilities of placements but students come here and get many opportunities to develop their knowledge.

Three years weren't magical, but the memories will forever be cherished.

Placements: There were about 44 students in our class, which is the Communicative English Major. There's no such thing as placement in JDC. For an internship, they provided us with a reference letter. Almost all the students in our batch got an internship at media houses. Newer courses are offered to students, and better chances for placement are opening up.

Review of Jogamaya Devi College.

Placements: About 150 students enrolled in B.Com Honours, and placements in our college are average as no such reputed companies visit for placements. If some companies visit the campus for placements also, then they offer a salary of Rs.13,000 to 15,000 per month. Allover, it is a good college for studies. This college is best if you attend classes regularly.
