Bachelor of Journalism and Mass Communication (BJMC) - Batch of 2022
Offered by Lingaya's Lalita Devi Institute of Management and Sciences
2.2

Our college is not in a good location.
Placements: Around 5 to 6 students got placed out of 45. The average salary package offered was 2 LPA to 4 LPA. Only startups visited our college to offer placements. The placement cell wasn't good. Internships were provided to students in the final semester by our college.
Infrastructure: The infrastructure of our college is average. All the labs and a gym are provided for students. Radio lab, computer lab, auditorium, and classrooms have air-conditioners. Hostel is good.
Faculty: Faculty members in our college are supportive and knowledgeable. Gaurav sir is one of the best faculty members in college and has good knowledge. The course curriculum is designed by IPU, which is good. Exams are easy.
Other: More than 2 fests are organised very well in our college every year. Placement should be improved. Our college is far from the metro station. Our college offered courses, such as B.J.M.C, BBA, BCA, and B.Com.

It has the value for money campus.
Placements: The salary package is different for every course, but it varies from 8 LPA to 25 LPA. Ajtak, NDTV, and many more channels are looking for students at our campus. They provide 100% internships. Top roles offered are anchor and journalist.
Infrastructure: Facilities are good. Everything will be provided on campus for students. Modern labs are provided for students. They can go to labs whenever they need them. Free Wi-Fi is also available in labs for students. Classrooms are well furnished and comfortable for students.
Faculty: Teachers are well qualified and good. They treated students like their own children. They are helpful. This course makes students industry-ready, and they are able to do anything. We visit the news channel weekly for learning.
Other: The campus is good. There are approximately 6,000 students on campus.

Review of Lingaya's Lalita Devi Institute of Management & Sciences.
Placements: I graduated from this college in 2012, and placements during my time were good and everyone in my batch got a job with a good package. Aajtak, Times of India, HT, Mint, Dainik Jagran, Dainik Bhaskar, and NBT were some of the top recruiters for my batch. We started off as sub-editors, mostly, then became assistant editors.
Infrastructure: The classrooms are equipped with modern teaching aids, from projectors to smartboards, and audio-visual mediums for interactive learning. The library has a plethora of books, journals, and digital resources. The college has radio labs, TV labs, and a photography lab to nurture the student's talent.
Faculty: The teachers are extremely helpful and they come from diverse backgrounds, which would help the students understand the know-how of the industry and what can be expected from them when they graduate. The course is vast, covering sprint, electronic media, PR, and advertising, so students can make up their minds about where they want to see themselves as professionals.
Other: The college has events, from Zeal to the university fest where students can participate to showcase their talents in various activities.

The campus is small, but the exposure is good.
Placements: About 70% of stunts are placed in our course. Some students go for higher studies. The highest salary package is 3.5 LPA and the lowest is 1.5 LPA. About 90% to 95% of students get internships. Top recruiting companies are Jan Soch, ABP, etc.
Infrastructure: There is no hostel. Classrooms are good. Wi-Fi is not available on campus. The canteen is so small, but the taste of the food is fine. The medical facilities and the sports room are good. There's no ground for our college. The library and labs are good.
Faculty: Teaching quality is good. Most teachers aren't available, but there's no comparison to when they used to be in class. Semester exams are not so difficult. Teachers are helpful and their behaviour is too good. They are well qualified. Everyone has a Ph.D. They are knowledgeable.

Overall a decent & nice institution for BAJMC.
Placements: You can be an anchor if you're confident enough to face the camera & if not they'll teach you to boost your level of confidence, and you can be a video editor if you will for that, you can also be a radio jockey if you've a good voice and, my seniors got on an average 25k per month starting package.
Infrastructure: Infrastructure is fine, not that modern looking by outside but yes they've all facilities related to their labs, as in our course (BAJMC) they've the production lab, radio lab, seminar halls, and a good size auditorium for college functions, overall nice infrastructure.
Faculty: Exams are also nicely conducted and are handled well, students clear their doubts before the exams from the subject in charges respectively, and teachers never deny to answer the doubts, doesn't matters asked twice thrice or 10 times. Exams are not that easy, but yes in the graduation level, student must have to know this much difficulty level.
Other: We haven't experienced campus life that much yet as due to the covid protocols.
