One of the emerging colleges in India. It has very good faculty with a great number of opportunities to grow. It has tie-ups with several foreign universities and it sends its students on exchange programs very often on scholarship basis where you can get ample opportunities but have to be smart enough to grab them. In terms of placement, it’s not as great as other colleges. But you will get base package easily. The quality of lectures is good. You will find interactive learning in this college....

I always feel privileged to be an alumnus of L M Thapar School of Management. Its curriculum and course content along with its nicely crafted extracurricular activities helped me grow personally and professionally. The congenial and conducive environment enables the students to perform the best of their abilities and skill set which ultimately helps them in getting their dream job. The Management school provided me an opportunity to serve in one of the leading power sector organisation named "Av...

I would say it is one of the best management college in Punjab. It gives immense opportunities in whatever filed one is interested. The best thing about LMTSOM is its highly qualified faculty. They not only teach you to perform better in tests or placements but do make you a better person. I myself came out as a changed person with lots of learning. Class presentations and group projects definitely helps boost ones confidence and inculcate team work quality. Apart from this LMTSOM keeps organizi...

Graduating from LM Thapar School of Management was magnificent. Learning from the In-house professors, foreign faculty, as well as industry experts has helped me in grooming better for the future. By the learning experience and Industrial exposure provided, I have managed to secure my dream job in Reliance ADAG. Facing challenges and overcoming them in the beginning days has helped me develop myself to overcome obstacles inside the corporate world. Organizing events and being part of other activ...

MBA from LMTSM is not similar to any other MBA institute that I know. It helps in overall student development in ways that is not possible anywhere else. Being situated in outskirts of Chandigarh, students have to face various existential problems. LMTSM pushes you to think in entrepreneurial ways to solve these daily issues.

The college gives one what mostly other college gives but here the most important thing is, it gives the experience of entrepreneurship. I have been enrolled in the integrated program here BE-MBA (Industrial Engg.) and after completing my management program, I believe the important distinction between the engineer and the MBA is that as an MBA you'll most likely have to learn to deal with people issues, technical ones. Not this requires a different skill set and in order to develop these skill s...

Doing my MBA at L. M. Thapar School of Management, has given me opportunity to get better understanding about the nuances of the business world. The Internship experience helped me attain the knowledge about various models and theories around operations. I am having a great time at campus, being part of various societies and clubs like Social Entrepreneurship Club and General Awareness Club where we have worked as student teams to create, market and organize an event.

I was lucky to witness the change from the old to the new campus near Chandigarh. Spread over more than 30 acres, it had the best Infrastructure one could ever imagine. It was a treat to be taught by the Faculty Members which came from one of the partner universities in the United States. The Consumer Behavior Course was the highlight, which was taught by one of the best Professors ever. Organizing the First Business Festival “Nimaya”, was a very fulfilling experience personally. L. M. Thapar School of Management has good Infrastructure for students and they are given exposure outside classrooms as well. Like, they planned a trip to take all Human Resource students to Avantha Group, so that they gain more knowledge in their domain. Apart from that, many opportunities were provided to students to show their caliber.

Not for the ones who wish to join a good B-school. Your skills won’t be nurtured here. Worth not joining. The faculty members are not good, working only for the sake of money. The management is the real crap and is least supportive and not at all reliable. This might be due to the reason that the school is still in the initial years of its operations but the kind of effort needed and the strategies required to uplift an educational institute are totally missing.

Management institute with no campus placements track record.

Placements: Only 2 out of 40 students got the campus job offer and that too was with internal conversations which were not revealed. The persons responsible for providing jobs to students did not make any effort to make it happen or did not even assist the students in that regard, which was really disappointing to see.

Lot of lush green lawns and is sparkling clean and undoubtedly the best part is the new hostel j . No vehicles are allowed in the campus except bicycles. Though the administration provides with a parking lot but no vehicles inside the campus even to the physically handicapped. The in house medical center is decent and there is also an ambulance on call 24X7. The best part now is sadly the sports infrastructure which has a couple of synthetic tennis courts, a couple of basketball courts and a sin...

This college is good with faculty members.

Placements: Around 60-70% of students are placed. The highest salary package offered is around 17 LPA, and the average salary package offered is around 6 LPA. Several top companies visit the campus like Nestle, American Express, etc. The internships opportunities from the college are not impressive. Students can look for internships outside the college.

Really good facilities in 2019.

Placements: There is no option for placement in this particular subject in this university. For graduates, it is overall difficult to have placement in the university. Such option should be there but unfortunately isn't. I was doing MBA and preferably choose this field because there was passion For me in this subject. The quality of teaching is not balancing one.

The curriculum are well balanced with both practical and theoretical knowledge.

Placements: In the first year, we have seen that most of the companies visited campus are focused on marketing candidates majorly and after that Finance, HR and Operations students are hired. The companies offered business analyst and associate manager roles to the selected student.

I am really dissatisfied with the placement opportunities.

Placements: Coming to the point, till jan 2020 still there are 70% students that are not placed and college is doing fake promos for new students and the students who are placed are 90% of sales profile rather doing MBA in finance & coming to the internships there is no hope for the internship opportunities and at the end you have to make career in sales as there is hardly and other chances for other domains.

LMTSM is the best college for marketing with good infrastructure.

Placements: The placement of the current batch is really good. Around 80% of the students got placed, and more companies are coming. The highest salary package offered is 14 LPA and the average salary package offered is 6 LPA. The companies that visited the campus are ITC, Blackstone, Nestle. Almost all students got an internship from college. The stipend ranged from Rs. 2,000-3,000 per month. The placement cell is really good.

Placements were good in 2018, and faculty members are also helpful and hard working.

Placements: Placements of our senior batch are quite good. Many good companies visited our campus and selected capable students. Companies like Loreal, Adity Birla, Nestle and many more companies visit our campus for placements. They offer a salary package of about 5 to 6 LPA. About 60% of students get placements from our college.
