I am satisfied with hostel life and other facilities but dissatisfied with teachers and placements.

Placements: Almost 60% of the students got internships from our college. Placements are not yet started, so I have no idea how many students will get placed from our college. However, according to our seniors, the average salary package offered is approximately 5 LPA. Deloitte, MRF and Nestle are some of the top recruiting companies for our campus.

LMT is one of the Tier-3 colleges with decent placement and good ROI.

Placements: LMT is one of the decent colleges that comes in TIER-3 colleges. Placement is nice. An individual should be motivated enough to knock and enter the door. Talking about the package, not all of the people got placed like I already mentioned, individual effort matters as you are coming in one of the TIER-3 colleges, but great companies with good profiles do come. I got placed in 3 companies, 1 from college and 2 by myself as the college has helped me to inculcate the essence of management. Top recr...

Good place to study with good placements.

Placements: Placements were average for the students of our senior batch. Around 65%-70% of the students got placed through on-campus placement drives. As far as our batch i.e., 2017-19, around 80% of the students got placed through on-campus placement drive. Various companies that visited the campus were AzurePower, ClickLabs, Smart Data, Nestle, Capital First, and FedEx etc. Most of the companies offered sales and finance job roles. Internship offers were not that good. Only 50% of the students got intern...

The college is good in sense of teachers. The most negative thing in the college is the bad smell.

In short, Thapar University has a good brand image in the corporate world due to their education

Placements: It is a nice and well-defined institution with high packages at around 6-7 lakhs. Here, we have an employability session. The students also get a chance to go aboard for higher studies. Here, maximum students are placed in marketing companies and had completed their internship in a good brand name company with the highest stipend at 17000/-.

One of the emerging colleges in India. It has very good faculty with a great number of opportunities to grow. It has tie-ups with several foreign universities and it sends its students on exchange programs very often on scholarship basis where you can get ample opportunities but have to be smart enough to grab them. In terms of placement, it’s not as great as other colleges. But you will get base package easily. The quality of lectures is good. You will find interactive learning in this college....

L. M. Thapar School of Management has good Infrastructure for students and they are given exposure outside classrooms as well. Like, they planned a trip to take all Human Resource students to Avantha Group, so that they gain more knowledge in their domain. Apart from that, many opportunities were provided to students to show their caliber.

The curriculum are well balanced with both practical and theoretical knowledge.

Placements: In the first year, we have seen that most of the companies visited campus are focused on marketing candidates majorly and after that Finance, HR and Operations students are hired. The companies offered business analyst and associate manager roles to the selected student.

I am really dissatisfied with the placement opportunities.

Placements: Coming to the point, till jan 2020 still there are 70% students that are not placed and college is doing fake promos for new students and the students who are placed are 90% of sales profile rather doing MBA in finance & coming to the internships there is no hope for the internship opportunities and at the end you have to make career in sales as there is hardly and other chances for other domains.

Placements were good in 2018, and faculty members are also helpful and hard working.

Placements: Placements of our senior batch are quite good. Many good companies visited our campus and selected capable students. Companies like Loreal, Adity Birla, Nestle and many more companies visit our campus for placements. They offer a salary package of about 5 to 6 LPA. About 60% of students get placements from our college.
