Review of Lokmanya Tilak Municipal Medical College and General Hospital.
Placements: My college is not an engineering college, so there is no such thing as placement. We do HOships or internships in government hospitals or any private hospitals. But most of the students start studying for PG and continue their education for PG with a minimum income of 50,000.
Infrastructure: The college campus is not as big as other medical colleges, but the area is clean and hygienic. We have a Wi-Fi and AC-furnished library with an online educational platform for the education of students. The hostel area is also as clean as the college campus and provides 24/7 electricity and water supply.
Faculty: Our college faculty is more strict compared to other medical colleges. The education and curriculum taught at our college are too good. Teaching quality and staff at LTMMC are better than most of the medical colleges in Mumbai. Exams are very strict and papers are of a moderate level.
Other: The campus of our college is not as big as other medical colleges in Mumbai, but campus life is very enjoyable and meaningful at our college. We celebrate various educational and cultural events at our college. There are many scholarships available for SC and ST students. Many backward classes take out scholarships for their further education.

    SUMMARY Infrastructure - 4/10 Campus life - 2/10 Academics - 8/10 Exposure - 8/10 Overall - 6/10.
Placements: After completing M. B. S. we don't have to bother much about placement. Also there is 1 year of compulsory internship and service bond for 1 year ( Maharashtra state ) which you can refuse to serve by paying 10 Lacs amount. If you would clear your PG entrance in first attempt then you can serve for 1 year after completion of your PG.
Infrastructure: LTMMC as hospital was started in 1947 and became medical college in 1964. So being a very old institute the infrastructure of this college is not at top notch level compared to other newly established colleges. Classroom - 4* ACs are installed in PLT Spacious enough Lighting, Projector, Screens all okay Labs - 5* In 1st year all the labs are well-equipped. In anatomy dissection hall there are enough cadavers and there are 20-30 students on each cadaver. In physiology lab all the microscopes, equipments etc. Are of good level. Each student gets enough resources for optimal learning. Same for biochemistry lab Library - 4* There is a spacious and large library on 4th floor of academic building which provides conducive and studious environment. Library is open for 24 hours and is mostly not filled except during examination.
Faculty: Faculty members in 1st year are very passionate and extremely helpful. In practical each faculty is assigned to a group of 15-20 students. So each budding doctor gets good attention and can contribute to the nation building by becoming good doctors. But they expect you to be regular & disciplined and. MBBS demands that. As MBBS is very hectic course. Syllabus is really huge. So you should get used to stress, sleepless nights, studying ruthlessly during exams etc. Semester examinations are not that much difficult (* for passing atleast ) if you prepare strategically. You don't have to mug up everything (Like NCERTs).
Other: Hostel is not provided for 1st year students. ( It is also good for freshers. Haha ) Also the hostel is not in the campus itself. The college has 2 canteens and 1 cafe. The food taste in canteen is of below average level. Campus is fully ragging free. Initially there were very few into sessions but after 1st IA there is no ragging/into. Also there is no campus life in college compared to other colleges. But this college provides excellent exposure.

    It is a prestigious college.
Placements: About 99% of students got placed in our college. Students opened their clinics. Some are doing government jobs. The salary package offered by the USA and other countries is 2 CPA. This college was established 75 years ago.
Infrastructure: Our library is very good and air-conditioned. It can accommodate 1,000 students. The library provides free Wi-Fi. Our college building is very good. Our college provides two hostels, one in Sion and one in Dharavi. Our college is very old.
Faculty: Teachers are very helpful and well-qualified. Their way of teaching is very good. Our semester exams are above average. All questions are from the syllabus. Our college conducts 3-semester exams. One exam is conducted by the university.
Other: Our college holds the top spot in the INI rankings for CET 2023. It is located in Dharavi.

    I'm satisfied with this college.
Placements: All the students get jobs in our college. The highest salary package offered is 8 LPA to 12 LPA. Every student does an internship at the end of the course which is compulsory.
Infrastructure: All the needed facilities are provided in our college. Labs are available for every subject. Classrooms are very good and have projectors but only some classrooms have air-conditioners. Library is very huge with a capacity of 200 to 250 students. Hostels are very good. Our college has a separate canteen. Sports facilities are good.
Faculty: All the teachers in our college are doctorates. They are very good, helpful, and well-qualified. The course curriculum is very good and designed by MUHS. Semester exams are a bit hard. Around 20% of students fail exams.
Other: I chose this course to become a doctor. Many events take place in our college like Trinity, Ashwamedh, Shiv Jayanti, etc.

This college provides accommodation facilities at very affordable prices.
Placements: Placements are very high as the demand for doctors is very high in the country. But you will not be offered a job by anyone, and you will have to apply for a job yourself. It's not difficult for a doctor graduating from such a reputed college to get a job. There is a one-year compulsory internship at the end of 4.5 years, and the stipend offered is Rs. 11,000 per month.
Infrastructure: Every kind of sports activity is conducted here. Debates and medical symposium are organised every year. Needless to say, these events are one of a kind and should be attended. There are many ongoing events, and one can find their hobbies and enjoy them. Until your final year, you have to share a room with 1 roommate. In 1st year, a flat is allotted to 4-6 people. Hostel rent is Rs. 4,000 per year. If one wants to take PG nearby, that'll cost 6,000-15,000 per person, depending upon your preferences.
Faculty: Faculty members are highly educated, and some are even internationally recognised. The head of the department is the oldest professor. Lectures are held as per the schedule. Clinic plays an important role in learning. Lectures are held almost every day. MBBS is definitely a long course with more than 50 exams until you start practicing. Clinical exposure is started very early in 3rd semester, and regular clinics are taken which is the most important source of learning. The patient load is too high, but we get to learn a lot.

    Ltmmc Mumbai college review.
Placements: There is no placement for medical students in medical college. College provides a one-year compulsory internship. In an internship, the stipend is given to the students. There is a one-year rural compulsory bond. After completing the degree, you have to serve a bond or pay the bond amount.
Infrastructure: The infrastructure is not good. We can say average. No playground college. In first-year hostel facility is not provided by the college. From 2nd year college provide a hostel with 4 students in a room. In the 3rd year, two students are in one room, and after providing a single room.
Faculty: Academics is the most acceptable excellence part of this college. College is strict for attendance and internal exam. The College campus is not big. The most negative thing About this college is the infrastructure. If you want to explore Mumbai then you join but if you want to enjoy college infrastructure you can join at your own risk.
Other: The facility is good. The hospital crowd is more than average. No scholarships for Iraq students. Many extracurricular activities are arranged by seniors. The college and hospital are in the same building.
