Lords Institute of Engineering and Technology.
Placements: The student percentage does not matter in this college. Students have to be good with teachers so they give them a chance to get in the placement cell. Recruiting companies are Tech Mahindra, TCL, etc. A student must score around 90% of marks to get placements or internships.
Infrastructure: Wi-Fi is very poor. We cannot use WhatsApp. The canteen is very unhealthy. Washrooms are not clean. The parking space is not available. There are no medical facilities in our college. There are many activities in sports. It conducts many events.
Faculty: Teachers are very helpful. HODs are very rude and arrogant. Exams are very easy if you study well. The passing mark is around 20-30. Teachers are very well-qualified and experienced. Their teaching quality is awesome. There are some teachers who have zero knowledge about subjects but they are just teaching.
Other: I chose this course because I love to do coding and make projects in it. It is my passion to become a coder. They provide a lot of events like development, a workshop cell, M.Sc, Gdsc, etc.

    The campus is awesome.
Placements: Around 30-40% of students are in this course. We have a good scope in this course. I don't know about the packages because I have not completed my graduation. They also offer internships. They send abroad for internships and give projects for improvement.
Infrastructure: The campus is very good. They have large parking and a large cricket and football ground. We have a volleyball court. Our classrooms are good compared to other colleges. We have good projectors and labs. All the equipment is available in the lab. There is a large library. We have a good canteen. Every year, we celebrate a sports day. Good food is available in the canteen.
Faculty: Faculty members are good. They teach well. We have experienced faculty members. There are separate faculty members for every section. Semester exams are a bit difficult. If you work hard, you can crack it. We have to maintain 75% of attendance to avoid condonation.
Other: I chose this course because it is new to me so I thought it would be better to do a data analyst course.

    A decent minority college.
Placements: The placements were not up to the mark for non autonomous batches. The highest package offered was 8 lacs and the average packages was 1.5-2 lacs. The top recruiters were Capgemini, TCS, and Byjus. The total percentage of students getting placed was very less and big companies also didn't come in the past.
Infrastructure: The infrastructure and other facilities are decent including a spacious library. The labs are also well-equipped with new working equipments, especially the computer labs are well maintained with the latest technology. The college doesn't have a hostel facility available.
Faculty: The teachers are average with mixed quality of teaching. The curriculum is relevant to the industry needs and provides a lot of seminars and workshops for the students to prepare for the industry. The semester exams are also not that difficult, every student can pass with basic knowledge about the subjects.

The disappointment of Lords Institute of Engineering and Technology.
Placements: The avg percentage of students getting placement from our college is around 10%. The highest package that we get is around 12 Lacs per annum and the least we ever got is 3 Lacs per annum. Usually, we have to find internships on our own and the companies that provide them are unknown. Software engineer.
Infrastructure: We at first had horrendous Wi-Fi, and although labs are kept, they really need new chairs. The library is absolutely amazing, therefore I am satisfied. No hostel, okay canteen, and the bare minimum of sports in our college. The medical facilities are not available.
Faculty: Teachers are not well trained, rarely teach something useful, and are a total waste of college resources, except a few. They need to let go of some. The curriculum is really outdated and does not make the students industry-ready. Very difficult semester examination, and even though students prepare well, some of them fail due to personal grudges.
Other: I chose this course as I was infatuated by the beauty of computer science engineering and I wanted to become a computer science engineer because I loved computers when I was a kid. I want to create and explore this world. The best thing about my course is that I could learn how to create something out of basic tools like Python and Java. The course could be improved by having more real-time knowledge in the industry and learning about something that is close to your heart rather than doing projects that are disconnected from your personal passion and personal projects. The campus crowd is enough.

Infrastructure is great. Faculty members are quite good. I'm satisfied with my college.
Placements: Most students in my course get placed, and the placement statistics are quite good. The highest package is 8-10 LPA, the average is 4-6.5 LPA, and the lowest is 2-3 LPA. Companies that select and visit our college include TCS, Planet Park, Amazon, and Infosys. For our course, we can choose our domain as data science, machine learning, or development.
Infrastructure: The hygiene and quality of the food in the canteen are good. The sports and games facilities are also good. Overall, the facilities provided to us are quite decent, and the classroom, library, and labs are well-maintained.
Faculty: The faculty members are great, but a few of them are not up to the mark. All faculty members are qualified and knowledgeable, but teaching is key. This course is relevant for industry readiness, and all students get a good idea of the real-time world. Semester exams are conducted with strict invigilation, and the pass percentage is above average.
Other: I chose CSE because it has a bright future and offers the opportunity to earn a lot of money. I believe that every student should be passionate about their course and always be engaged in hands-on practice. The campus surroundings are beautiful, and the events, fests, and scholarship facilities are great.

Dissatisfied with College Management, Faculty, and Placements.
Placements: The placement performance for this course is relatively poor, with fewer than 50% of students placed. Packages range from 3-7 LPA, with an average around 6 LPA, which is modest for the current job market. Top recruiters are mostly mid-size companies and startups, with few big names. Internships are also limited, and roles offered are entry-level, suggesting the need for stronger industry connections and skill alignment.
Infrastructure: The college infrastructure is basic, with poor Wi-Fi, no hostel facilities, and minimal focus on sports and games. Labs and classrooms are standard but lack advanced resources. Faculty and management only focus on attendance rather than making students industry-ready.
Faculty: The teachers in this course are generally not well-qualified, affecting the teaching quality and overall learning experience. The curriculum lacks industry-relevant courses, so it does not adequately prepare students for placements. While the pass percentage is high, exam question banks are often shared, which can make passing easier without necessarily ensuring strong subject mastery.
Other: I chose this course for foundational knowledge, but it needs more industry-focused subjects for better job readiness. Regular events and fests would improve campus life and offer valuable networking and practical experience.
