Lovely Professional University is a well known college for an  MBA programme. LPU's placement record is also very well, they are awared for their employability. Over 500 companies come here for recruitment. It is not mandatory to pass CAT exam or MAT exam with a good percentile for admission. However, you have to pass LPUNEST exam conducted by LPU if you have not qualified for CAT or MAT. You have to qualify the interview exam also. 

LPU accepts minimum 80 percentile for MBA through CAT exam. In 2024, cut-off for general category is expected to be 40-45 percentile in the CAT, 67-70 percentile in the MAT, 70-72 percentile in the CMAT and 90-92 percentile in the NMAT.

LPU admission to MBA course is based on LPUNEST, CAT, MAT, XAT, CMAT or NMAT score followed by a GDPI round. Additionally, Candidates must pass graduation with at least 55% aggregate or completed Company Secretary (CS) from the Institute of Company Secretaries of India (ICSI) or Chartered Accountancy (CA) from the Institute of Chartered Accountants of India (ICAI) or Cost & Management Accountancy (CMA) from Institute of Cost Accountants of India (ICAI) to apply for LPU MBA course. After completion of the selection rounds, candidates need to pay a fee to confirm their seat. The total fee for LPU MBA course ranges between INR 1.60 lakh and INR 10 lakh. Admission to MBA and MBA (Hons) is based on a valid score in LPUNEST/ CAT/ MAT/ XAT/ CMAT/ NMAT, followed by PI.

 Eligibility criteria: Bachelor's degree in any stream with an aggregate of 55% from a recognised institute/ university.

Lovely Professional University cut-off for MBA courses differs for each entrance exam. The expected LPU cutoff 2024 based on CAT is 40 - 45 percentile, for MAT is 67 - 70 percentile, for NMAT is 90 - 92 percentile and for CMAT it is 70 - 72 percentile.

The 70–75 percentile LPU CMAT cutoff for general category students is anticipated in 2024. Conversely, applicants seeking admission to the MBA programme through the NMAT will require a cutoff score between the 95th and 98th percentile.

For doing master's in business administration at Lovely Professional University usually the duration will be 2 years. At LPU this course offers admission to 360 students. The total tuition fee for the Master of Business Administration (MBA) at LPU will be INR 8.00 Lakh. Admission to MBA and MBA (Hons) is based on some entrance exams such as CAT/ MAT/ XAT/ CMAT.
