LPU admission to MBA course is based on LPUNEST, CAT, MAT, XAT, CMAT or NMAT score followed by a GDPI round. Additionally, Candidates must pass graduation with at least 55% aggregate or completed Company Secretary (CS) from the Institute of Company Secretaries of India (ICSI) or Chartered Accountancy (CA) from the Institute of Chartered Accountants of India (ICAI) or Cost & Management Accountancy (CMA) from Institute of Cost Accountants of India (ICAI) to apply for LPU MBA course. After completion of the selection rounds, candidates need to pay a fee to confirm their seat. The total fee for LPU MBA course ranges between INR 7.60 Lacs and INR 9.60 lakh. The fee is calculated based on the semester fee.

Candidates could download their LPU NEST 2025 admit card after booking the exam slots. The admit card was available on the official website. The admit card was an mandatory document to be taken for the exam. If candidates choose to book their LPU NEST slot for 2025 on their own, their LPU NEST 2025 admit card will be generated immediately. However, if Lovely Professional University books the slot for the candidates, the LPU NEST hall ticket 2025 will be generated 48 hours after receiving the application form. However, all application received before the start date of the slot booking will be processed only when Online Slot Management will be activated.

The slot booking window for the LPU NEST 2025 can be done three days before the exam. The last date to book the slot booking will be announced soon. The candidates should make sure that the slots are booked before the exam date. The exam slots are allotted based on availability.

CAT is one of the accepting exams for LPU admission. LPU conducts LPUNEST Lovely Professional University National Entrance and Scholarship Test for admission to MBA course. It is conducted in online mode every year. The test acts as an Entrance Test as well as Scholarship Test. The amount of scholarship is determined by the marks and rank obtained by candidates in the exam. LPUNEST is a 2.5 hours exam including 125 questions. Apart from LPUNEST, the university also accepts MAT, XAT and other Management entrance exam scores for admission. The shortlisted candidates are further called for GDPI round. 

The exam fee for LPUNEST is INR 1,000 for males and INR 500 for females. 'Take Admission' option is now available to all applicants. This means that candidates can qualify for admission through the LPUNEST/ interview process either before or after submitting their application for MBA course. Candidates are required to follow the below-mentioned steps to fill out the LPU application form: 

Step 1: Visit the official website and click on the ' Apply Now' tab at the top of the web page. 

Step 2: Register on the official admission portal of LPU i.e. LPUADMIT (admission.lpu.in) with basic details such as name, email-id, mobile no., state, gender and password). The email id used during registration will act as the username for the portal and the password needs to be set by the candidate while registering.  Candidates can continue to apply for LPUNEST (for scholarship purposes). 

Step 3: Upload the requisite documents.

Step 4: Pay the application fee and hit on the submit button to complete the application process.

Admission to MBA and MBA (Hons) is based on a valid score in LPUNEST/ CAT/ MAT/ XAT/ CMAT/ NMAT, followed by PI.

 Eligibility criteria: Bachelor's degree in any stream with an aggregate of 55% from a recognised institute/ university.

Lovely Professional University cut-off for MBA courses differs for each entrance exam. The expected LPU cutoff 2024 based on CAT is 40 - 45 percentile, for MAT is 67 - 70 percentile, for NMAT is 90 - 92 percentile and for CMAT it is 70 - 72 percentile.

The 70–75 percentile LPU CMAT cutoff for general category students is anticipated in 2024. Based on the MAT exam, the LPU threshold for admission to the MBA programme in 2024 is between the 65th and 70th percentile. Conversely, applicants seeking admission to the MBA programme through the NMAT will require a cutoff score between the 95th and 98th percentile.
