Loyola - The Perfect Place to build not just your Profile but also you will get exposure.
Placements: Loyola doesn't just provide you with job placements, but it provides you with an opportunity to excel. Students in my course are being placed in various amazing companies, with a good package with a maximum of 22 LPA and a Minimum of 2.5 LPA. The average Package is always around 3 LPA. With a variety of companies that are provided for the student,s it is great to get exposure to the corporate world.
Infrastructure: Loyola provides closure of a very friendly environment. The atmosphere is certainly something you wouldn't be expecting. Yes, it doesn't have great infrastructures like other Engineering Universities. But it does have its heritage and privilege that is being standalone for 97 years and counting. It is indeed equipped with all the modern facilities that are necessary for the students.
Faculty: Faculty members are very friendly. Most of the facilities are alumni of the college, but it's also a double-edged sword. They know the environment very well and adapting to them is easy. But at the same time, lack of exposure certainly is a downside. Couldn't expect more wisdom from certain faculty members even if their work experience is 15+ years.
Other: Bachelor's of Computer Applications is a demanding course in the college, it only has 50+ seats available. The audacity of the exposure you gain through the college with this course is certainly amazing for your aftermath of college. Although improving the classroom facilities is what I feel could be done better. The curriculum is often updated so students get to be on track. Loyola and Culturals? I don't have to explain that, do I?

Our college is located in the heart of the city.
Placements: Students who have studied Maths in their 12th can get the course. The top recruiting companies are Infosys, Wipro, Amazon, etc. Almost 50% is enough to get a good job.
Infrastructure: The hostel is a home feel-good experience. The food is prepared hygienically and is good for health. So students don't miss their home food. Labs are well maintained by separate staff and there is a medical cabin to treat immediate health issues.
Faculty: The college is very conscious in selecting the staff who were perfect to teach the course they are overrated. Students will have mentors to solve issues. The exam is quite strict but there is no difficulty if we have studied.
Other: I opted for this course because I was looking for a future in the IT field. It's very useful.

Faculty: The teachers are very qualified, and their knowledge is outstanding. They are very good at teaching, and they are well-rounded specialists. The curriculum is updated and the exams are moderately difficult.

I am satisfied with this college.
Placements: About 40% of the students from our department got placed by various companies. I am happy that I am also among them. I attended almost ten interviews. The highest salary package offered is 6 LPA, and the lowest salary package offered is 3 LPA. Top recruiting companies like Wipro, HCL, Infosys, etc., visit our college for placements. Students from our college do an internship. A top role offered to the students is a developer.
Infrastructure: Our college is well known for its infrastructure. Our college has a good library with many books and computers too. There is a food court, but it is a bit costly. There are small shops for tea, coffee and Vadas. To play all the games, we have a good playground. Our college is well known for sports.
Faculty: Teachers in our college are highly knowledgeable and well experienced in teaching. Some teachers are different in teaching. Especially in our department, sometimes it is hard to understand. The course curriculum is relevant to the industry. They are very friendly and helpful.
Other: I have chosen this course because I like to do coding. Easily I can get into the IT company. BCA is helpful for learning the technologies right now. I wish the college should improve the syllabus a bit more according to the current technology.

Worried due to placement in 2018.
Placements: The placement was good. But only 30% students is placed. The highest salary is 4 lakh per annum, the lowest salary is 2 lakh per annum. Cts, Wipro, Verizon, RBS, funds India, goldman sachs, L&T and many companies are visited. Roles like service desk, system admin, programmer, sales executive, accountant, etc.
Infrastructure: We have good Wi-Fi facility. Well equipped labs for computer Science, physics, chemistry, visual communication, multimedia, biotechnology, plant biotechnology students. Fully air-conditioned and spacious classroom for students. Good medical facility. Nice ground for sports and games, all the above are available in the campus. A good clean and hygienic food is available in food court. Good hostel rooms are available. No infrastructure related issues during my college period.
Faculty: Teachers are so kind, very helpful, well qualified and knowledgeable. Teaching quality is dependent on individual teachers. I didn't get industry exposure. The teaching method followed in college is good as a student can understand his/her teaching and he/she is able to write on their own.
Other: Big fest, department events and many programs are held. Poor students can get scholarship for all three years.
