Bachelor of Computer Application (BCA) - Batch of 2022

Absolutely dissatisfied with the old curriculum and faculty, no placements offered.
Placements: A total of 70 students were present in the first year of my class. The highest package offered in my course was 6-7 lacs, the lowest package was 2 lacs, and the average was 3 lacs. There were no recruiting companies at that time. Less than 10% of students were placed. BPO, sales, and marketing roles were offered.
Infrastructure: Facilities like computers for every student were available in the department. No Wi-Fi was available. Classrooms were of modern design, and a library with a vast number of books was available. I did not opt for the hostel, but the canteen and sports facilities were average.
Faculty: Teachers were qualified and knowledgeable but not helpful; they were barely present. The course curriculum was irrelevant and did not make students industry-ready, and the curriculum was not up-to-date. The difficulty of exams was moderate, and the exam pass percentage was 40 percent.
Other: I chose this course because of my keen interest in the IT industry. The best thing about the course was the practical labs. The course curriculum could be improved; new technologies should be introduced. Multiple events were organized, including a fest and an IT park visit.

My college and course are the best. My college provides a lot of opportunities.
Placements: 55% students are placed in my course. The highest package offered of my course is 79k, the lowest is 22k and the average is 55k. Recruiting companies are Ambuja cements and Amazon. Mostly 40% of students got internships from my course in MNC companies.
Infrastructure: Labs, classrooms, libraries, and canteens provide good facilities for every student and it gives free books for charity. sports facility is very good in my hostel and it gives free products for every good sportsmen without a fee.
Faculty: Good teaching quality and the teachers are very helpful in my college. It is the best. No, it doesn't make the students industry-ready. This course is curriculum-relevant. 33% is the pass percentage and semester exam is very difficult.
Other: It is the easiest course and the best thing is that it is not only easy for me; it is easy for all students. Events and campus crowds are organized in my college.

Vishal Review for Lyallpur Khalsa College
Placements: There is very minimum placement opportunity present in this college . Student prefer to go for off-campus placements. Average package in my course in generally 2Lpa . No regular recruiting company is there in the college. Very few students able to get internship .
Infrastructure: Infrastructure is quite good . campus area is small but looks good . labs are well furnished and clean and all the resources available for students to study. Library is well maintained with 1000's of books is there . Wifi is there but not present in the whole campus .
Faculty: Teachers arre very helpful , help in career guidance and in studies anytime we can reach out to the teacher , most of the teachers have degree in doctor of philosophy (P.hd) . Course Curriculum is really helpful and make the students industry ready .

M.A. in Punjabi - Batch of 2023
4.8
5Placements4Infrastructure5Faculty5Crowd & Campus Life5Value for Money
Recommended for M.A. Punjab.
Placements: More than 70% of the students got placed in batch 2021-23. The highest package was a staggering INR 34 LPA. Amazon, Toyota, Birla Group, Genpact, IBM, and Unit Nexus were the top recruiting companies that had come. The top roles offered were translators, content writers, editors, etc.
Infrastructure: The classrooms had enthusiast-level teaching, which included (but was not limited to) smartboards and projectors. There was also a language laboratory. Wi-Fi was available all over the campus. The library has a huge number of books, journals, and other resources on Punjabi literature. The hostels are well maintained.
Faculty: The teachers are extremely helpful, qualified, and knowledgeable. The course curriculum in M.A. (Punjab) is very relevant and covers a wide range of topics (Punjab Literature, Punjab Language, Punjab Linguistics, and Translation). The semester exams are hard but can be cleared.

Come and study here for great placements and become industry ready.
Placements: The placement percentage for PGDCA course at LKC for the year 2022 was 75% with INR 5 LPA being the highest package (average package - INR 4 LPA). The top recruiting companies were TCS, Infosys, Wipro, HCL Technologies, Cognizant and many others. Software Engineer, Data Analyst, etc. were some of the top roles offered.
Infrastructure: High-speed Wi-Fi is available all over the campus. The computer labs have high-end computers where many programming languages and top software programs are installed. The library has books, resources and Journals relevant to the PGDCA course. Hostels fulfil all the necessities.
Faculty: The teachers there are very helpful, qualified and knowledgeable having tremendous experience in their field along with a passion for teaching. The teaching quality is top-tier. The course is very relevant to the current world. Yes, it makes the students industry ready. Semester exams are tough but can be cleared if the student practices thoroughly.

M.A. in Music (Vocal) - Batch of 2024

This college is very good and everyone can study here. Teachers are very helpful.
Placements: There are about 60 students in the batch, but no job offers are provided. Our course is not related to any companies. It is an arts course. We can join a school as teachers, and after passing the NEET exam. We can join a college as music professors. No students received internships, as they were not offered.
Infrastructure: Our department has Wi-Fi, but I didn’t use it. Classrooms are very clean and good. While there isn’t a separate library. There is a library that serves all streams. The hostel is good, but I didn’t live in it during the course. Overall, the college is quite good.
Faculty: Teachers are very helpful, qualified, and knowledgeable. The quality of teaching is excellent. They support all students equally. This course makes students industry-ready. The pass percentage is 95%. Around 4% of students were not present during the exam, which is why they did not pass.
Other: I chose this course due to my interest in music. I earned a B.A. in music, and I am now pursuing an M.A. in music for my knowledge and passion.
