Fascinating college life in Maharaja Sayajirao University of Baroda.

Faculty: Professors/Teachers are really helpful in MSU. Teachers really help a student at their early time and help them to get necessary knowledge about the course and college. The whole commerce faculty is very helpful. The teaching quality is superb as all the concepts are taught and revised multiple times. The course curriculum is up to mark as it makes students ready for the industry by all means of knowledge. Semesters are not very difficult but need to study all the months. The passing percentage ...

Good infrastructure and facilities.

Faculty: The teachers are really very helpful but due to the large number of students in every class, they are not able to attend students individually. Exams are really painful because you won't be able to find your center first and then it’s very crowded during the exams. Curriculum is not as good as it needs to be.

Your insight to MSU Baroda for the Bachelor's in Commerce.

Faculty: The professors here are quite practical and world-oriented, though sometimes they do ask you to just absorb information rather than explaining the logic. However, I didn't experience this very much. I interacted with great faculty who helped me enhance my knowledge in finance and explore new things. They were quite patient during doubt-solving sessions. There are 2 major semesters held, which include 2 internal MCQ papers for 30 marks and 2 external subjective written papers for 70 marks. These ...

A review of former MSU student.

Faculty: I found the exam pattern to be very easy. Midterms are taken in the form of multiple-choice questions worth 30 marks, and external exams are taken in written form for 70 marks. The midterm exams are quite easy to score at least passing marks. For the external exams, the questions are all from the syllabus, and the question papers are set in a manner that makes it easy to get passing marks.

Today's life in college.

Faculty: The teachers are very helpful; they are interactive and approachable. This course doesn't make you industry-ready, but it does give you an idea of the current industry situation. You have to take the initiative with this course. Exams are not very difficult; one can pass easily. There are four exams conducted every year: two internals of 30 marks and two externals of 70 marks.

Highly educated and practical professors.

Faculty: Professors are very interactive and quite good at teaching. The majority of professors do link the theoretical aspects with the practical world, which is more amazing than expected. By applying the knowledge gained from the curriculum, it will also help with your industrial growth.

It is a kind of historical college.

Faculty: Teachers in our college were helpful to students if they studied hard. Exams were easy to crack if students prepared well and challenging if they didn't.

It is a good college with great campus life, but placements are not good.

Faculty: Teachers were a bit helpful. Other staff members were not good. The exam system was not that good. We had 6 semesters. Each semester had 2 parts, i.e., internals and externals. The internals were objective-based. Externals were totally descriptive. In total, it is a decent option.
