Should you go to MKHS Gujrati Girls College?

Placements: As a student of B.Com., from my experience, there is not much placement for B.Com. students. But there is much more placement for B.Com. honors students. If you are choosing this course as a career option and hoping for placement, then this college is not for you. Companies like Wipro recruit students from this college, but more opportunities are given to honors and other course students.

Infrastructure: The infrastructure of my college is good. It includes all the sectors a student needs in his or her college life. This college possesses a great, well-constructed building, many classrooms, a library with plenty of books, well-advanced labs, a canteen, all the medical facilities available, Wi-Fi, equipment, and sports material.

Faculty: Teachers are great; they themselves are highly educated and well managed. Some of the teachers are not that good (from my experience), but the majority of the teachers are good at explaining the concept and behave like friends to us. Plenty of extracurricular activities take place every month with great enjoyment. Exams are not that difficult if you attend the classes and study well.

Other: I have chosen this course as a basic degree only so that I can go for the government exam that requires an UG. For my course, nothing is required to improve in my college; only the placement thing bothers me. This college also provides scholarships on the basis of merit and caste.

The college atmosphere is good and recommended.

Placements: 50% to 60% students get placed in the companies that come for the recruitment process. Average salary package offered to them is INR 2.5 LPA. Top roles offered in this course is in finance, accounts, business, etc. The jobs offered in this course is of a receptionist, manager, supervisor, accountant, etc. Many of the students are provided with internships from college.

Infrastructure: There is a hostel facility in our college campus, a sports complex where many sports and games are organized. There is also an auditorium where seminars, lectures, cultural programs, etc. are organized. Medical care support is available with first aid facility. Many departmental based laboratories are also provided to us. The college has a library, a canteen and a gym as well.

Faculty: Faculty of this college is well educated as well as they have command over their subjects. Their teaching methods are great. Faculty is very experienced and also every faculty is familiar with their respective fields or subjects. Exams are not so tough but you must go through the topics and prepare well.

Other: My teacher suggested this course, so I chose this course. We celebrate many patriotic themed events for the nation like Republic Day, Independence Day, Gandhi Jayanti, Teacher's Day, Children's Day, etc.

The faculty of the college was good, but placements should be improved.

Placements: At our college, only 20-25 percent of students get placements. Most of the students pursue Master's degrees. The average package offered at the college was 2 LPA. Some students get internships in the college based on their academics and skills. Top roles offered in the course were accounts, analyst, data entry, etc.

Infrastructure: Infrastructure in the college for the B.Com course was average. The college has a small campus with facilities like labs, a library, a canteen, classrooms, seminar halls, a sports ground, etc. Wi-Fi was available in the labs of the college but can only be accessed by teachers. The food in our college canteen was good.

Faculty: The faculty of our college was above average. Teachers in the college were helpful, qualified, and knowledgeable. The teaching quality of the college was good enough. The course curriculum of the college was old but relevant. Exams at the college were on a semester basis and were easy to pass.

Our college faculty members are helpful and good facilities are provided by the college.

Placements: Many of the students are getting placed from our college. Out of 100 approximately 40 students get the placement in high tier companies. I plan to pursue MBA after completing my graduation. The highest package offered last year was INR 3 LPA. Many of the students got selected for internships through college. They provide an internship with a stipend on the basis of the student's performance.

Infrastructure: The college provides sports facility where many sports equipment are available for indoor games and outdoor sports. There is a hostel facility with mess available. A library is also there in the college where you can go and access all kinds of books related to your syllabus.

Faculty: The faculty is very good and well qualified. The method of teaching is very easy and understandable. You can easily understand the concepts. Exams are held on an yearly basis. They are neither difficult nor easy. It totally depends on your hard work and preparation though.

Other: I chose this course because I liked it. Annual function is also conducted in our college, where all the students showcase their talents for entertainment purposes. They also conduct different competitions and sports fest for the students to increase their abilities and skills.

Good atmosphere of college along with best teachers.

Placements: 30% to 40% of the students get placed every year in reputed companies through the recruitment drive. The average salary packages offered to them is INR 4 LPA and the lowest is INR 2 LPA. Top job roles for this course are of accountant, manager, tax advisory, cashier, etc. Internships are also offered to students for developing their skills and knowledge.

Infrastructure: There are good classrooms, There are hostels where all the facilities are good as per my knowledge as I have not opted for a hostel. There is a sports complex where we get all the facilities for playing games and sports. There is also a gym facility for fitness. The college has a library for students where they can prepare for their exams. Labs are equipped. There is a canteen for us and the staff members, where good quality food is provided. Our college provides us a with a medical facility along with first aid kits.

Faculty: Teachers are great, helping in nature, friendly and very well experienced and educated. Our teachers are very qualified and knowledgeable. Their teaching methods made our course easy and simple to understand. Exams are held annually and achieving good grades is easy if a student studies hard.

Other: In our college many competitions and cultural programmes are organized in the auditorium. There are many seminars, lectures by experts, workshops which takes place. Annual day is also celebrated here and sports festivals are organized by the college. Many scholarships are available for the students as well.
