Life at M. O. P. Vaishnav College for Women, Chennai by Harini.
Placements: They do have a placement cell where the placement starts in this final semester. The most recruiting companies are Accenture, Deloitte, Goldman Sachs, Prelude Systems, Zoho, and many more startups. The average package lies between 3 and 4 LPA.
Infrastructure: The infrastructure of the college is well maintained and clean. It has a library, which can be used to issue books. Beside the library is the computer lab, which is used by the students of data science and computer science. It also has a small area with parking space for two-wheeled vehicles.
Faculty: I am pursuing a Bachelor of Science in Data Science. This is an undergraduate programme that focuses on equipping students with the necessary skills to analyse, interpret, and manage data. The curriculum typically combines elements of mathematics, statistics, and computer science. It provides domains of specific knowledge for comprehensive understanding and taking data-driven decisions. The entry requirements and eligibility are that a person must complete the 12th standard with 70% or more, having math as one of their subjects. My motive for choosing data science has various reasons, including the career opportunities it provides. It is a rapidly growing field with high demands across various industries such as finance, healthcare, technology, and retail. It also has high earning potential for the next 10 years.
Other: My experience in MOP was really, really good. MOP has so many courses, and the faculty members are really well trained and have high standards. MOP will give you a number of opportunities if you are ready to take them. MOP has labs, a canteen, a library, big classrooms, an auditorium, and many more facilities. MOP has so many extracurricular activities, side courses, and festivals where you can participate and learn new things. MOP will provide placement opportunities where big companies will be involved. Teachers there will ask students to take seminars, which will help them prepare for the exams. Projects, seminars, and presentations will definitely improve your interest in studying. MOP's festivals are the best. While talking about festivals, MOP's biggest festival, 'Vish', is the best; it is celebrated during Navratri. MOP Bazaar is also one of the best events. Every year, MOP conducts its bazaar, where students get an open opportunity to earn.

A Glimpse of MOP Vaishnav College.
Placements: Approximately 8% of the students secured placements in the prestigious big four companies, namely Goldman Sachs, Deloitte, and KPMG. The highest package offered was 6 LPA, while the lowest was 4 LPA. Besides the big four, many other companies also recruit from our college. The roles offered include HR, financial analyst, etc.
Infrastructure: The B.Com Corporate Secretaryship course at MOP Vaishnav College consists of 70-80 students. The classrooms are equipped with a blackboard, projector, mic, and projecting screens. There is a common library accessible to all students, where they can borrow reference books or study material. MOP Vaishnav College does not provide hostel facilities. The canteen offers food from Nithya, Amirtham, and Hot Breads at affordable prices. Medical facilities, such as Apollo Shine, are available inside the college premises to address emergencies for both students and faculty members. The Physical Education department is highly active, with numerous sports teams for various sports.
Faculty: The teachers are well-qualified, knowledgeable, and experienced in teaching students. The quality of teaching is commendable. The curriculum is updated annually to incorporate amendments for enhanced learning and subject knowledge. The academic year consists of two semesters, namely the odd semester and the even semester, with a pass percentage of 40%.

MOP Vaishnav College is a vibrant institution where students eagerly join to pursue their undergraduate or postgraduate programs. The college hosts many cultural events.

Yeah overall it's average
Placements: The highest package offered for students is 40 to 50 thousand per month. The big four companies recruit in this college. 10 percent of students from each department get placements.
Infrastructure: Campus is not that big. Canteen and drinking facilities are good. Restrooms are cleaned everyday. No hostel facility. Library is so good. We have labs provided. Food in canteen is great. There are lot of opportunity to explore and there are diverse events There are projectors in every classrooms
Faculty: Teachers are qualified and helpful. The course curriculam is placed in such a way that students get maximum benefit. The level of difficulty of the exams is moderate and 95 percent is the pass percent in our college. There are 6 semester in our college

Life in MOP Vaishnav College for Women.
Placements: 75% of the students get placed. The highest package would be 12 LPA, and the lowest package would be 3 LPA. Top recruiters include Goldman Sachs, McKinsey, Amazon and Deloitte. The recruiters look forward to the students skill set, knowledge and communication. But it is advised that the student score a CGPA of 7.5 or more.
Infrastructure: Students are offered labs with Wi-Fi, a library, a canteen, an auditorium, parking spaces, seminar halls, and classrooms with projectors. A medical facility is also offered at the campus that is offered by Apollo Shine. The canteen is a base for Nithya Amirtham and hot breads.
Faculty: The teachers are helpful, qualified and knowledgeable in their fields. It is 50% theoretical and 50% practical. The curriculum is relevant and it makes the student industry ready.
The semester exams are not very difficult. It is indeed easy to crack.
The pass percentage is 40%.
Other: I chose this course because I'm interested in coding and technology-related stuff.

Our college has good faculty members.
Placements: Students who score around 80-100% are eligible for placements. The highest salary package offered is 4 LPA. The lowest salary package offered is 2.5 LPA. Top recruiting companies are Goldman Sachs, HDFC, Brain and Company, State Bank of India, and Accenture. Around 10% of students got placed in our college.
Infrastructure: Our college provides us with all facilities. Students have separate Wi-Fi access with an individual private password. Labs and classrooms are good. The library is available in our college. The hostel facility is not available in our college. Our college has a canteen. They serve vegetarian food items. They provide medical facilities.
Faculty: Our faculty members are good, helpful, well-qualified, and knowledgeable. The course curriculum is relevant. Exams are easy. We have less chance to write supplementary exams. We can easily score good marks. The pass percentage is 45%.
Other: I opted for this course because of my interest in it, and this course provides good knowledge. They should provide interesting lessons. Many events are held in our college. A scholarship facility is available in our college.

Good Placements in 2022, Average infrastructure and faculty members.
Placements: In 2022, it was corona time so we had very huge placements happening during that time and the maximum salary package was 4 LPA and the lowest was 2 LPA. Deloitte hired many people and there were many more companies like EY, Infosys, TCS, and many more.
Infrastructure: Infrastructure is good, we do have all facilities, only thing is the college is very small, not very spacious, otherwise we have all facilities required for the course, a library with many books, Wi-Fi, and we have newspapers as well. Canteen is good but not that cheap.
Faculty: Faculty members have knowledge, but few teachers lack good teaching skills. Because of this, it would be better if we put efforts and study on our own, and our PG will always be like that. It would be a learning in UG itself. The course curriculum is very relevant and vast. Semester exams are a little bit tricky.
Other: We have many events conducted, but they do get money for that if it is for your department fest. The course is good, nothing much to improve on it. The campus is very small and looks crowded, but will be very clean and looks so good.
