M.V.J. College of Engineering Scholarships and Funding

Dr. M.V.Jayaraman Foundation Scholarship:

Scholarship will be considered for only one academic year. To avail the scholarship for the next academic year, the student needs to submit the renewal application form, along with the necessary documents, 2 weeks before the commencement of the odd semester.

The following terms need to be satisfied by the applicants:
To renew the scholarship, the candidates need to score CGPA as given below every semester-
a) Merit 1 - CGPA > 7.8
b) Merit 2 - CGPA > 7.0
c) Merit 3 - CGPA > 6.0

Note:
- Any new application or renewal application of the scholarship after the due date will be rejected.
- The candidates need to re-apply, along with the result documents duly attested by the Principal.
- If any student fails to score CGPA as per the Merit structure in an academic year, he/she will not be eligible to apply for a scholarship in the next academic year. Such students need to pay the regular Tuition Fee and College Fee as per the Management Quota.
- The student needs to have 85% attendance in all the subjects.
- The student should not have been involved in any activity which is in the nature of indiscipline or tarnishing the reputation of the institution.
- If the scholarship beneficiary discontinues his/her course, the complete benefit of the scholarship

The MVJCE Scholarship Committee reserves the right to accept or reject any Scholarship Application.

Decent & Bit Flawed College.

Placements: As far as placements are concerned, MVJ College has a decent placement rate. Nearly 75% of students get placed, provided they don't have backlogs! The highest package offered for my branch (ECE) was 20LPA and the lowest ranged up to 3LPA, with an average package of 5LPA. Service companies like Wipro, Mindtree, and L&T visit the college.

Review of M.V.J. College of Engineering.

Placements: Here, around 70% of students got selected. The highest package we got is 10 LPA, and the lowest package is 3 LPA. Full sack developed. Here, students got placement because of online placements from our college. We didn't get any placements; only a few got placements from the college side.

The campus is really nice and the people are very welcoming.

Placements: 60 percent of students were placed. The highest package offered was 12 LPA, the average was 5.5 LPA, and the lowest was 2 LPA. Top recruiting companies that came were TCS, Cognizant, Sagility, and Mercedes, etc. 60-75% of students got internships at Sagility and NTT, etc. The jobs offered were for data analysts, coders, test engineers, and marketing.
