Placement Cell for MBA/PGDM at MITS College

Unfortunately, there is limited information available regarding the placement cell for MBA/PGDM at MITS College. However, based on the student reviews, here are some key points:

    * No mention of placement assistance: None of the students mentioned anything about the placement cell's efforts to assist students in finding jobs or internships after graduation.

    * Limited focus on career guidance: One student mentioned that the faculty members were good, but they didn't stay for long periods due to low salaries, which might indicate a lack of investment in career counseling services.

    * No emphasis on industry connections: There is no indication that the college places significant importance on building relationships with industries or companies to secure placements for its students.

In summary, while the college provides various facilities such as Wi-Fi, libraries, and sports amenities, there is little information available about the effectiveness of its placement cell in securing jobs for its MBA/PGDM graduates.

Not satisfied to join in this college.
Placements: Placements are very less compared to others colleges even some small colleges are giving placements more than MITS. Even In mits also placements are there but only for CSE and other departments placements are very low even they should increase for other departments.
Infrastructure: For Madanapalle region college infrastructure is well and good enough, labs, library are very good but Wi-Fi is not there. Library has very good collection amount of books and computer labs also only the thing is the classrooms should be changed it is just like school.
Faculty: Conducting of more exams simply faculty are good but they won't be there for long period college don't give them more salary. So that lectures are leaving the college and they keep on conducting exams and the curriculum is some what better but limited classes.

It is good for studying, gaining knowledge and getting good placements.
Placements: Placement in our college is good. Every year up to 95% of the students get placed in campus drives. Many top recruiting companies like IBM, Wipro, Tata, AIG and Cisco visit our college for placements. Many internships are offered by our college. Almost every student got an internship in major companies like Wipro. Our college offers roles like associate engineers and business development managers.
Infrastructure: The college has a good infrastructure. It has computer labs, digital classrooms and a central library. The campus is Wi-Fi enabled. The atmosphere in our college is good. It has facilities like doctors and a sports room. It has a huge ground to play tournaments and games.
Faculty: Teachers in our college are very friendly. All teachers in our college are PhD holders. There are senior faculty members. Their teaching quality is good. The course curriculum has industrial visits and tours. It is easy to pass the exams. The pass percentage every year in our college is 95%.

I completed MBA in 2020. I enjoyed a lot, and I got a job at Kotak Securities.
Placements: Around 80% of the students get placed every year. The highest salary package offered is 3.5 LPA, and the lowest salary package offered is 2 LPA. The average salary package offered is 2.5 LPA. Mostly, marketing companies like Kotak Mahindra Bank, Kotak Securities, HDFC Bank, movingDneedle, etc., visit our college for placements. Only 2% of the students got internships in MyTaxFiler. Top roles offered are sales, marketing and operations.
Infrastructure: Our college infrastructure excellent, and I like it very much. All are digitalised classrooms. Every facility is available here like Wi-Fi, labs, excellent library and computers. I did not stay at a college hostel, and I stayed in PG hostel outside. Our college canteen is average. However, good medical facilities are available, and the college bus is also available. For sports, NCC and NSS are available, and all the sports equipment is available in our college.
Faculty: All faculty members are PhD holders. They have well- knowledge, good communication and friendly nature. They are good at speaking English, and they teach us everything. There is no problem for students regarding education, but we need to utilise the opportunity. The course curriculum makes students industry-ready, which is helpful to work in an organisation.

I am satisfied as everything is good at our college, and everyone likes this college.
Placements: Almost 60% of the students are placed in the campus placement, and maximum roles offered are as trainees. The highest salary package offered is 4 LPA. Almost 30% of the students got an internship. Top recruiting companies are Tata, HDFC, Kotak, IBM, Ceasefire, My Tax Filer, Flipkart, etc. The lowest salary package offered is 2 LPA, and the average salary package offered is 3 LPA.
Infrastructure: Facilities and infrastructure of the campus are good. There is also a hostel facility, and the food provided in the hostel is also good. It contains infirmary, and sports club is also available for students who are interested in sports. There are a canteen and mess, and the food provided in the canteen and mess is hygiene.
Faculty: Teachers are qualified and knowledgeable. Teaching quality is very good, and there are both practical learning and audible learning. The course curriculum is relevant, but they won't follow the curriculum properly. The campus provides various opportunities for students to fulfil their dreams, and it also provides various courses separately.
Other: Campus life is awesome. Though the fee is reasonable as compared to other colleges, they demand to pay it early.

    Overall, our college is good.
Placements: More than 50% of the students were joined in our course. The highest salary package offered was about 7 LPA, and the lowest salary package offered was 2 LPA. Top MNCs like IBM, Cognizant, CTC, Infosys, Intel, Adobe, etc., visited our college for recruitment. Top roles offered in our course are HR management, HR in finance, financial advisor, etc. students went Ceasefire company to do an internship.
Infrastructure: Wi-Fi facility is available here, and the infrastructure is good. Labs are also good, and all books are available in our library. The hostel facility is good, and a canteen is also available. Our college never compromises in providing quality food, and there is a medical room. All cultural and sports facilities are also available.
Faculty: Teachers here are very helpful if we don't know anything about our subject. Their teaching quality is good, and they explain briefly about the subject. The course curriculum is very planned to provide quality education in all aspects to students.

It is not a good college in all aspects.
Placements: Placements in our college are not good, and they only show off. About 20% of the students from our course got placed. The salary offered to the students is Rs. 10,000 per month. Only marketing companies visit our campus for placements. Marketing executive role is offered to the students. The maximum salary package offered is 2.5 LPA. Mostly they do not provide an internship. Overall, the college is not good for the placements.
Infrastructure: The infrastructure of our institute is not much good, but it is average. The college will provide the best infrastructure to B.Tech, and not to the MBA department. Some times projectors do not work well. There is no preference for management courses.
Faculty: Some professors in our college are helping and qualified. Some teachers don't know how to teach, and I don't know how they got selected as a professor. They blackmail the students, and it is not fair for the students. The college is one of the dummies. It looks good, but it is not good.
Other: I have chosen this course because I think it is very helpful in my future. I wish the college should give importance to real-time activities and make students industry-ready. Extracurricular activities are not conducted at our college.

    Admission FAQs

Q:   Is MBA/PGDM at MITS Colleges a good choice?

    A:
    {Source: MBA/PGDM students & alumni}

Based on the reviews and feedback from students and alumni, here's an analysis:

    * Infrastructure: The college has a good infrastructure, with modern facilities such as digital classrooms, libraries, and laboratories. However, some students mentioned issues with Wi-Fi connectivity and laboratory equipment.
    * Faculty: Most faculty members hold PhD degrees and are knowledgeable in their subjects. Students praised their approachability and willingness to help.
    * Course Curriculum: The curriculum is relevant and prepares students for industry needs. However, some students felt that the college could organize more industrial trips to provide hands-on experience.
    * Placements: Placements are a concern at MITS College. While many students get placed, the packages are often lower (Rs. 2.5 LPA - Rs. 6 LPA) and mostly involve sales jobs. Few students receive internships due to limited company invites.
    * Student Life: Campus life is decent, with facilities like hostels, sports clubs, and infirmaries available. However, students reported issues with food quality and availability.
    * Overall: Despite its limitations, MITS College has a strong reputation and provides a good education. However, students seeking higher salaries and diverse job profiles may find themselves disappointed.

In conclusion, while MITS College has its strengths, particularly in terms of faculty and infrastructure, its placement record and job prospects are a significant concern. Potential students should weigh these factors before making a decision.

Here's a summary of key points:

    * Good infrastructure with modern facilities
    * Knowledgeable and approachable faculty
    * Relevant curriculum, but limited industry exposure
    * Placement concerns with lower salaries and mostly sales jobs
    * Decent campus life with facilities available
    * Strong reputation, but limited job prospects
